Beautiful, full color photographs show different species of animals of the rainforest at their actual size. Additional animal facts give more details about the animals featured in the book. Engaging non fiction series will keep readers coming back for more. Highly recommended.
I know these books are not new but this one is beautifully done. I just listened to a webinar that emphasized the use of photographs over illustrations for children's non fiction books. This one is a great example of that process being well done.
Illustrations so precise they look like photographs. Great for kids to see the actual size of these amazing creatures. Not as useful for research as some books because there is a fun fact about each animal. The back of the book has more information about each animal.Very kid pleasing!
Nice photos and paragraph blurbs about animals found in the rainforest. Back matter focuses on how humans can help protect the rainforest and its residents.
My young readers will enjoy this story especially the pictures. The short paragraphs will be enough information for them to learn a bit about each featured animal.
