Let the Ether guide you into the world of the Red Realms. The talons of this story are firmly gripping you by the time you arrive in the realm. The sense of mystery and humanity is present and compelling. The world building and character development is well paced and enjoyable, you get to really love some characters and really hate some others. The plot twists were great, especially the oracle and the Yoons, love the mystique surrounding them. Despite all the great features of this series, I feel the underwhelming ending to the first book made me set it down for a couple months (all this build-up and training for a rushed battle lacking resolve) but I'm glad I gave it another try. All the future conflicts were compelling and the world of the Tilkoens was delightful, I hope the author further explores this world and it's flora/fauna in an additional novella. Overall, I'd rate this series 7/10
