One of my favourite Elton John books, would have easily gotten a 5-star rating had it not been for some editing issues and some haphazardly organized chapters, it seems like it was not proofread at all. Great photos, has interesting notes along the pathway of Elton's career and all the relevant songs and chart placings which really make it flow well and you can see just how he starts out, hits the big time, and then peters out, the book documents his musical life really well.

As mentioned, its a shame it wasn't edited better, and a little baffling as to why it wasn't.
