About the author

Ben M. Baglio created the brief for two series of children's books - Dolphin Diaries and Animal Ark. Dolphin Diaries features a girl and her family from Florida, who travel around the world as marine biologists and study dolphins. Animal Ark features two children who work together to help animals and solve animal-related mysteries. The books were written by commissioned writers in the UK under Baglio's instruction using the pseudonym Lucy Daniels. Each ghostwriter is named with a 'Special Thanks' on the copyright page.

Using his real name he also wrote the book series The Pet Finders Club, featuring a group of three children who search for peoples lost pets.

Mandy meets Lauren walking her dog Tarka. Mandy notices that Tarka doesn't walk or sit right. Tarka needs to be taken to Animal Ark for special care. Mandy need to teach Lauren how to help Tarka.
One day, Tarka tries jumping over a wall, but she ends up breaking her leg. Tarka needs to b cared for right away. Will she make it? Read this book to find out what happens to Tarka.

I love this book So much! It is one of my new favorites now. You should read this book because it is really interesting and exciting.

this is the 48th book in the animal ark series. This book takes place solely during christmas time. This is the perfect book to read during the holidays. The main protaganist is Mandy Hope. She runs the animal ark vet with her mother and her father. She meets a new friend named Lauren who has an aged spaniel. Lauren has no idea on how to take care of a dog so now Mandy must teach her.

A sweet story but it has a slow start. It could use more excitement but other then that it was fantastic. Perfect for any animal lover.
