After majoring in Photography while consuming a very healthy amount of fan fictions, Firmani finally decided to give novel writing a go when the world shut down. She splits her time between Italy and Canada with her partner and an ever-growing number of cats who may or may not be plotting world domination.
Okay so I was already sold just by the dedication 🙊😂
But the book was actually so good!! I had the best time reading and I loved that it was such a quick read !!
Flynn is such a sweetheart and everyone should have a Flynn in their life 🥰
Talulla is a badass & has such a strong mind! I loved her drive & her character!
This book was mostly 🌶️🌶️🌶️ but I also like the plot very very much !!! I think it could’ve easily been made as a full length novel but I still loved it as a novella
Thank you so much Letizia for the Arc 🥹❤️ I’m so happy I got to read this one✨
For starts, the characters were so fiery lol. Filled with quick spice, and I actually ( for my first vampire read ) I would enjoy to read more.
I will also say, my absolute favorite moment lol
“If I could take a cure and become human again, I would live a regular life with you, Talulla. And after that, I would live my next life with you, and then the next one, and the one after that.” and tthheeeeeeennnnn “I would always pick you. In every single life. In every single existence.” Then he crushed his lips to hers. “I would always find you, and devote my life to you.” 🥹 how adorable LOL like pls Flynn, come tell me more 🥹
As someone who didn’t read a 3rd pov in like 5 years, I would love to publicly thank Letizia for not making me feel like a creep sitting in the corner of the room, spying on the couple. 👀
Flynn, my man… the way he speaks, the way he touches, the way he loves 🤌🏻 he is so goddamn perfect and delicious. He had me melting every few minutes and (let’s be honest) I needed it.
Talulla, a strong woman who knows what she wants, who fights for her love and goes against everything she was taught to be for all of her life. And she is right to do it, Flynn deserves it.
I want MORE, I need MORE!!! Letizia, please make my wish come true.
“Our souls are destined to be together.” YES, DADDY. Take me too, thank you.
This was such a cute vampier and vampier hunter short story.
I really got into it and I wish there was more, Flynn defo has that “touch her and I will rip your head off your body” vibe, which I loved.
Ideally Talulla is a very strong vampire hunter and those like Flynn, she meant to hunt down and kill. But in this case she fell in love with him, and they both tried to live a normal life without getting captured by Talulla’s dad (who is a massive dickweed).
I love how they both care, love and literally protect each other, I ain’t gonna lie, I think I have a crush on Flynn and now I want a vampire boyfriend. I’m gonna see if the author has any more books like this, first time reading one of her books and it was fun. I just wish this was longer, I could happily read this has a full novel.
Thank you to the author for this Arc in exchange of an honest opinion.
This read was definitely captivating that I thoroughly enjoyed. The dynamic between the main MMC and the FMC was reminiscent of Spike and Buffy the Vampire Slayer and kept me engaged throughout the novella. Although it was a quick and easy read, I found it to be the perfect escape from heavier material. However, I do prefer books with a stronger emphasis on plot rather than smut.
I did express my appreciation for the characters and their romance, but I did feel that a deeper exploration of their backgrounds and how they met would have been beneficial. Given that it was a novella, I understand that the story was already in motion, but it seemed like the conclusion of a longer novel. The characters faced multiple challenges, came together, and experienced a climactic showdown.
This book was a quick, fiery read that I totally vibed with. The chemistry between the main male character (MMC) and the main female character (FMC) was off the charts – like, it’s got that whole Angel and Buffy the vampire slayer vibe, which I’m here for. Definitely wouldn't mind diving deeper into their world. It served as the perfect breather book, cleansing the reading palate beautifully in between heavier reads.
I greatly appreciate when an author is upfront about the content of their book. Based on the trigger warnings regarding sexual content and the note about this book being 90% spice and 10% story, I quickly realized that this book was not for me.
Thank you for sending me an eARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thrilled to have had my eyeballs on this gem as early as I did because, y’all…I’m a slut for vampires and Flynn is all of my favorite fictional vamps rolled into one. So thank you Letizia. This book is perfectly spicy, emotional, and has a heartwarming romance. I mean, who doesn’t love a vampire who denies o***sms? I sure love em.
Be sure to check triggers but if you like a dom/sub relationship, blood play, etc. you’ll love this novella.
This novella started strong with that dedication. The vampire diaries reference had me questioning if the author and I were long-lost besties 🤭
It is made clear from the very beginning that this is 90% smut and 10% plot, so keep that in mind before going in and expecting to read detailed world building and a complicated story line, as that's clearly not the point of this novella 😏
That being said, I have so many questions since finishing it and I would happily read a book that gives us more of a plot and goes in to more detail about Flynn and Talulla's past, and just more history about the vampires in general as I feel there is so much potential to expand on this fun, sweet, flirty and very spicy Novella.
So if you're a fan of all things spice, then make sure you pick this up on release day! If you like some plot alongside your spice, then I would still suggest giving it a read to see if it's for you. It was fun, sexy and a quick read. Great change of pace between books.
Please remember to check your trigger warnings!! ⚠️
A huge thank you to Letizia Firmani for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review 🫶❤️
One line review - Good story idea, but poorly executed
It basically felt like someone had written down their idea for a story and fleshed out a few scenes here and there. Which is such a shame as the premise of this book is great, the storyline that happens throughout the book is also a storyline that I could get invested into. However, executing it in just 75pages leaves so much to be desired, inc. world building, character building, the whole development of the story
You're my home
➼ morally grey vampire MMC ➼ fantasy romance ➼ she falls hard ➼ he falls harder ➼ vampire hunter FMC ➼ fated mates
This book is great for smut readers! The plot is fine but this is a smut book so if you don’t like smut don’t read it. For all my smut sluts out there, this book is for you!! The red chalice scene alone: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️! Seriously it’s cute and sweet and such a fast read! Go out and pick it up today!! Seriously do it! You’re missing out if you don’t!
First and foremost, this book is VERY spicy. Like almost 50% of the book is only spice. ( the book is only 88 pages tho since it’s a novella )
Where to begin with this review? I really liked the characters and their romance but I wished we got more of them and their backgrounds and how they met instead of just starting the book with him already a couple and in love.
The book is short and a novella so it’s understandable if everything is already going on but it felt like the ending part of a novel or a book. The part where after the characters get together and face multiple small challenges, the big showdown if you well.
The book had a maximum of 4-5 characters and you don’t get confused about who is who and stuff but as I said it feels like the novella is starting at the ending portion of a book, for example almost 70-80% in the book and then the FMC’s mother just shows up for the first time with absolutely no prior mentions.
I personally feel like if the spice was less it would have given more space for the story and characters to grow and for us to relate to them but that’s just my opinion as I know a lot of readers enjoy the spice.
And also when it comes to the MMC he’s supposed to be this dangerously dark, broody, dominant and very possessive character but because of how short the book is and the point in time where it starts we never truly get to see, experience or feel that.
Another thing is the synopsis is kind of the characters backstory, the chapters kind off start after the events of the synopsis. The synopsis also promises more plot but like I said it’s mostly smut, more than actual plot or story. I can kind of say this is a low stake fantasy romance as nothing too drastic happens and no important characters die.
Thank you so much for the author for this ARC opportunity and this review is completely voluntary. This book will be perfect for those who would want a fast paced short spicy read as a palate cleanser or as a way to get out of a reading slump.

When I signed up for this book I didn't know it was written in 3rd person and I am NOT a fan of 3rd person. However, this book didn't (like all 3rd person books seem to do to my brain) make my brain explode from feling like a creep behind a curtain lol.
This story really had some amazing points and it had all the advantages for being an extrodinary story, but I feel that the fact it was written in 3rd person it lacked emotions. The storyline had the potential of making me swoon and smile and hot and intrigued, but 3rd person telling made me feel nothing.
I really wish this was written in 1st person. I just know I would ADORE the book and the story like that. I LOOOVED Letizia's first book and was expecting the same level of amazingness, but this book just didn't do it for me. I didn't feel a connection to it at all and connecting to a story is the most important thing for me.
With all of this being said, this book isn't bad by all means, it just needs (in my humble opinion) some adjustments and then it will be a perfect one.
When the author says that a book is 90% spicy and 10% story, listen to them! Letizia Firmani has done it again for me. My goodness, she did it again for me. This is my second Arc read for her, and I love reading this book. This novella is about Talulla and Flynn. They should be mortal enemies, but they are loved through and through. When I mean lovers, you better not let your granny see this little gem of a book. From the dedication to the epilogue, this book had me hooked. I loved everything about this book, and I wish it were longer. This novella will one day be a full book. The spice was making me melt. A little bit of the story we get makes me want more. I have many questions about the past and what happened before the novella. I love Talulla and Flynn, and their dynamic was fantastic. When this book comes out, and you need a spicy, fast read differently, give this book a try.
As a hardened PNR reader of 30+ years, the ultimate greed read for me is enemies to lovers, favs being: vampire/shifter or vampire/hunter - so I was happy to stumble across this novella.
And can I just say, the dedication raised a smile....but it will always be Angel - you can't beat a tortured soul.....
The plot is very thin, but has good bones, but the page count didn't allow for it to be expanded into any great detail and I wanted the detail, the first turned and all that had me, leaving me with many, many questions. 🙄
So, the rest of the 80 odd pages was supposedly filled with 90% smut.....but what might be high octane to some, just fizzled at a🌶 for me....my book girls can have a giggle over that!! 🤭
This author really knows how to write an Author’s Note and Dedication that #booktok #vampirediaries girls didn’t know they were looking for. 🍷 (Iykyk)
Otherwise, I’d give it 3⭐️ and 2🌶️ for its writing style and faced paced content. And honestly after that Authors Note I was expecting more 🌶️ packed into this short novella.
If you’re reading this review before reading the book and haven’t seen the Authors Note and Dedication page online anywhere I also posted it on a Amazon review and my Bookstagram @book.goblins.and.dragons (mostly ARC dedicated).
The dedication to this book made me read this book immediately. However the first chapter was kind of meh. But once you were introduced to the two main characters is when the story becomes really good. Talulla is a bad ass and she has a cheeky attitude that makes you really enjoy her character. Flynn as a character is someone that really grows on you. He is sweet and kind, while also being protective even tho he doesn't have too be. I love the relationship between Talulla and Flynn. They fit really well together and honestly make A great couple. I would hands down recommend this book to other
The dedication at the beginning of the book was what sold me on the story. If you would pick Spike, Damon or Klaus, this is for you.
I loved this quick novella. It was snappy, spicy 🌶 and had just enough plot to keep the story going. This is pure spice with a splash of plot.
This could have been made into a full length novel and I probably would have loved it just as much. But the fact that this book was short, easy and fun to read, made the story enjoyable.
This was a sinfully delicious SMUT dom/sub vampire romance. It was a fun quick read in 3rd POV. I loved the layout of their relationship and how they are basically mortal enemies in love. Flynn is so freaking hot, ohh the things he says and does *chef kiss*. Talulla is a total badass and pushes the limits. I totally ate this up and wished there was more!
A great 🌶🌶🌶 novella for a sunday afternoon. This is the vampire/vampire hunter love story ive always wanted to read about..... wish this book was a full novel as you get totally drawn into Talulla and Flynn's love.
"I would always pick you. In every single life. In every single existence."
My first short read I think ever of this were a longer book it would be so so good. Spice is right out the gate with this literally but ugh Tallula and Flynn I need more I wish there could be more I would gobble up the entire series. This man quite literally said he would give up blood for her cum and idk but that some serious devotion right there.
What happens when you are born to be the best vampire hunter? You fall in love with one, of course. We meet Tallulah and Flynn in a very spicy moment, moments they thrive on.
Enter a father obsessed why destroying all vampires, and you get a mess.
3 stars since I didn’t DNF. The plot was just really rushed and not very creative in my opinion. The spicy bits were good but 90% of the plot happened at the end and just flew by without any twists or real conflict. The only reason I didn’t finish this novella the day I started it was because I started losing interest at 40%
Solid 2.5 stars. This was a quick read and had a lot of potential, I think that the fault honestly lies with the length of the book. It is hard to connect to the characters when the entire book is under 100 pages. If this was to be eventually rewritten into a longer novel with more character development and the ability to spread out the pacing it could easily be a 4 star book.
that books was amazing . i ate it up . the caracters are lovable and its easy to read . i hope we will have the chance to know more about flynn ( who is now one of my book boyfriends ) and the other characters cause i shure want to 😅😍🥰.
