My grandma always told me that dreams were a manifestation of real life. That what we saw while we slept would come to light while awake.

So, when I started having dreams about red eyes and big teeth, I searched for the truth. What I found was a world that I never thought was possible. It’s how I found out about the Creatures of Chaos.

And now they think I’m theirs.

Little Red and Her Creatures of Chaos, book 2 of Fairy Tales With A Monstrous Twist by Ames Mills & @author.ames.mills is one of my absolutely favorite authors.

Eek! Such a great book about Radley, Bryce (a Beta wolf), Mason & Nash (both Alpha Wolves)! And Grandma? Heck yes! The love the guys have for Radley is amazing. If you like RH, MM, Shifters, & kick-butt characters, then this book is for you.

I received this #ARCBook early and I am freely leaving my honest review.

Fast paced furry fiery fun 🔥 🐺
Well this is certainly a HAWT retelling of this well known fairytale! Radley is our clairvoyant FMC whose been dreaming of wolves with red eyes and she has no idea what it means until she meets three strangers who she’s instantly drawn to! They open her eyes to the world of the wolves and what she means to them 😍 they’re all in with their love for this girl and she realises there’s so much more to their connection! There’s some OV dynamics here in the Alphas Mason and Nash and their baby Beta Bruce - enjoyed the relationships they have before Radley comes along 😃 yet as they begin to build their relationship it becomes apparent there’s more to Radley and that they’re being targeted! Enjoyed the epilogue that solidified their relationship 🥰

Arc Review

Ames Mills is definitely becoming a top favorite author for me and this book didn’t disappoint. 3 Wolf shifters who knot? 🥵 AND a Little Red Riding Hood retelling? The Queen of peen has done it again. This was such a good story and as always the spice was 👩‍🍳💋.

Ames. Mills. Never. Misses. I would read the back of a cereal box if she were the author of it. I loved this fast burn, fated mates, reverse harem fairytale!!! I love how strong and independent Radley was, while also learning that she could rely on others through her bond with her three beautiful men. I loved the bond that existed between Nash, Mason, and Bryce prior to them actually meeting Radley, but also how well they navigated adding her to their pack. Bryce was such a cutie, but also so strong and caring. I’m glad he got revenge at the end. Also loved all of the side characters from their families, especially Grandma. If you’re in the mood for a short, hot, shifter, reverse harem romance, look no further🙌🏼 I’m so grateful I received an ARC of this book🫶🏻

AHHHHHHHHH OMG THIS BOOK WAS FANTASTIC. It was short, full of steam, there was fighting, heartfelt moments god it has everything.

Radley and her men had so much chemistry i had to put the book down at one point. Even though the book was short the author did an amazing job when it came to their relationship pace. It doing feel too slow or too fast. It was like they had so much chemistry and tension that it just felt right when they finally kissed.

The guys were amazing. They were protecting and watching over her before she even knew about them and I just find that so sweet. They were also absolutely in love with her AND each other. Even when they would hold hands I was giggling cause I just found them all so adorable.

I liked a lot of the side characters especially Radleys grandmother. Let me just say bc this is supposed to be a little red riding hood retelling I was scared out of my mind about her grandmother getting seriously hurt. Just want to thank the author for letting her be 😭😭😭

Also this is the first book thats a Omegaverse romance but with actual shifters. Usually the ones I've read its one or the other so it was really interesting reading about it.

READ THIS BOOK IT WAS SO GOOD

What can I say? Ms. Ames has done it again!! Knocked it completely out of the park with this one!! I will read anything she puts on paper. With this being only my second monster romance, I'm in love. The adult scenes were five chilies, drool worthy, and panty melting. I loved it all, and the retelling of Little Red Riding Hood was fabulous. So far, the first two books in this monster anthology were great. I CAN'T wait for the next!!

3.5 ⭐️ I will literally devour anything Ames Mills writes & I love a good retelling. This was a good, short PNR romance. It had great spice & Ames never disappoints on the MM front. I didn’t care for the Rouge shifter plot but it didn’t deter me at all. I loved the MMC’s so much, I don’t think I’ve ever met a MMC from an Ames Mills book that I didn’t like. I threw in a half star for the “knotting” 😂

Mason, Nash, and Bryce are HOT! 🥵 their chemistry, not only with Radley, but each other is on a whole other level of sexy. I couldn’t get enough. And that little twist at that end was literally the sweetest thing from her guys. This is definitely going on my reread list right next to everything else Ames has written.

Little Red and Her Creatures of Chaos😊

This is the second book in the Fairy tales with a monstrous twist and I will say it was exceptionally good❣️It’s also my first by Ames, so I will definitely check out her other books in due course.

Radley has been having vivid dreams for years, the only person who appears to understand is her grandma. When she meets three guys at work, she feels as though they are familiar and soon realises that she has been dreaming of them specifically. Mason, Nash and Bryce have their work cut out for them with Radley as she’s only just learnt about their world…but they all appear to have a secret which could result in her pushing them away😢

A must read story with lots of steam and as grandma says…naked men😉 I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review.

Ames Mills is one of my favorite, why choose authors. My only real complaint is i wish the story was longer. And I say this because for one reason I am very greedy. But really, it's because I need to learn more about the men as well as the female characters that are going to be in a relationship together.
I did love the group together

Bryce, Mason and Nash. The three hottest shifter I’ve read in a while. They each bring something special to their relationship with Radley.

Radley life up to the point of meeting her three wolves has been less than staller. Working a crappy diner job, barely making ends meet and having a strained relationship with her parents.

Pack alliances and fighting the rogue wolves threaten their peacefully lives.

Once the guys get Radley into their lives they are not letting her go. No one is taking their Queen and she now starts to become the woman she was supposed to be.

They take every opportunity to let her know and show her just how much they love and desire her.

This book was inteeeeeeense!!! Action packed, suspenseful, mysterious, and spicy. Nash, Mason, and Bryce are hot as heck but Baby Bryce is my favorite. The book not only has deliciously sinful spice and a great pace, but in true Ames Mills fashion it takes you on a roller coaster ride with twists and turns that leave you wondering what the heck happened and what is this magic. For being this author's first dip into the omegaverse world, she did an amazing job. I always love when an omegaverse's concept is outside the box and out of the beaten path, and this one does not only not disappoint, but leaves you craving more.

Oh my! I’ve only ever read Ames mafia RH and I can already tell you she is phenomenal at fantasy/shifter writing as well. Radley and her shifters are a wonderful team and with so much wit and spice. I loved the character depth for this fun, short read. I hope she writes more paranormal stuff.

This book has clearly cemented the fact that Ames mills could write any type of genre and she does it exceptionally. This is her first paranormal and if I didn’t know it I wouldn’t have guessed.
I absolutely adored this book. Red and her wolves are chefs kiss. The relationship between the wolves never takes away from the inclusion of the female in the story and we never feel like she’s the third wheel even tho they had a pre established relationship. My only complaint as always with Ames’s books is that I want it to be longer. However I’m sure that she’s going to write more paranormal after this one
Highly recommend ❤️

Now, let me just say... I started off my adult, spicy, reading addiction (if you will 🤷‍♀️) with wolf shifters. It is the core of my reading love and I visit them often because who doesn't love to think about their first pure, genuine love 💕?! Now, if you've ever read my reviews before you'll know that I am over the moon for Ames Mills. So, when I found out she was working a paranormal why choose about wolf shifters!!! Shut the front door! I about 🫠 all over the place.
Little Red (Radley) and her Creatures of Chaos (Mason 🔥, Nash 🥵, and Baby Beta Bryce 😍) absolutely live up and surpass every expectation I had for wolf shifting why choose, as well as an Ames Mills' book. You will fall in love with each and every character 🥰. You will 🫠🥵🤤.. and they don't even have emojis for dirty enough for what else you'll do 😘. Oh, and it's not just pure smut. Although, she does her smut well, there is plot! and you will be caught up in it. This book absolutely leaves you wanting more.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice level: 🌶🌶🌶🌶(lot of smut, but still plot focused)

Radley has been having dreams about mysterious red-eyed creatures. After one particular dream, she wakes up and begins to search for the truth. What she finds changes everything she thought she knew about her, the past, and who she is.

This book took me on a ride! The dynamic between Mason, Nash, and Bryce was fantastic and they were totally book boyfriend material. This had wolf shifters, complex pack and family dynamics, and fighting with rogues that never felt rushed even though the book wasn't that long. I absolutely loved Radley's grandma and her spunky go-with-the-flow attitude.

I recommend this if you like shifters, omegaverse, and found families with a fought for HEA.

Reseña: Little Red and Her Creatures of Chaos

Mills is one of my favourite authors, so when I heard she was dipping her toes into PNR, I was all over that - and man, did she knock this one out of the park! It's another story that is so Mills, but throw in wolf shifters, pack dynamics and hidden plot that has you gasping as you read - not to mention that it's a very unique take on the Little Red fairytale. Honestly, cannot praise it enough.

Radley is a good FMC in the sense that she understands exactly where she is in life - in a dead-end job at the local diner, earning minimum wage, with no other prospects as she never went to college. As much as it sucks, I love the realness of her character. I loved the hints that we got of her "dreams", opening up the wider story to us from the very first moment.

Nash, Mason and Bryce. These three men (sorry, wolves) each bring something to their pack dynamic, and I loved that we have a two-Alpha, one beta pack from the get-go. As with all Mills' works, it's a everyone loves everyone situation, and I swooned (and melted, and panted) over the glimpse of the dynamic between the three before Radley joined the trio. The three are obsessed with Radley, their fated mate, and it was a joy to read as they won her over - though, man, do some men suck at communication (iykyk).

Also, shoutout to Grandma in this one - she is an absolute hoot, and I honestly want to read more about her. You know a side character is great when you just want more of them.

This book is filled with twists and turns, surprises that you kind of see coming, but still take you aback. There's drama and action, and part of me wishes that this was as long as a normal Mills book (she does write an epic or two) but at the same time, I loved that it was such a quick, fun read. I really hope Mills continues to write either in this world, or PNR in general. I absolutely adored it, and cannot wait for more from the author!

Thank you to Mills for the eARC opportunity.

Little Red and Her Creatures of Chaos was an absolute thrill ride—fast-paced, steamy, and packed with everything I love in a paranormal romance. This Little Red Riding Hood retelling took the original fairytale, tossed it into the Omegaverse, and sprinkled in shifters, found family, and an unbreakable fated bond. From the very first page, I was hooked on Radley’s story, and I devoured every moment of her journey with her fiercely devoted pack of wolves.
Radley was such a compelling heroine—strong, curious, and more than capable of holding her own, even when thrown into a world she never expected. And her men? Bryce, Mason, and Nash were absolutely perfect. The chemistry between them was electric, and I loved that their bond wasn’t just about Radley—they truly loved each other as well, making their relationship feel even richer. Watching them navigate their emotions and instincts while being so protective and adoring of Radley made my heart melt.
The pacing of their romance was spot-on, striking that perfect balance between tension and satisfaction. The way the guys had been watching over Radley even before she knew about them was so sweet, and when their connection finally ignited, it felt completely natural. The steam? Off the charts, but it never overshadowed the heartfelt moments, the action, or the deeper emotional bonds forming between them.
And let’s talk about Grandma because WOW—she was one of the best side characters I’ve read in a long time. Given that this is a Little Red Riding Hood retelling, I was terrified she was going to meet a tragic fate, but I was so relieved she got to be a badass in her own right. She added so much warmth and humor to the story, and I adored her relationship with Radley.
If you love Omegaverse, shifters, and fast-burn relationships with protective, adoring heroes, Little Red and Her Creatures of Chaos is an absolute must-read. It gave me steam, action, found family, and a touch of fairytale magic—everything I could possibly want in a book like this!

I think I went into this book with one expectation of all of the MMC's being full beasts instead of humans after reading the first book in the series but let me tell you that was not the case with this story! I have never read anything by Ames Mills prior to this but let me tell you, this story will not be my last. The attention to detail and background story was superb and the way the chemistry is build between all of our MC's was fantastic. The background characters are all extremely well developed as well and the protagonist in this story is woven in so well that you really do get slapped in the face when that person is revealed. Throw in the plot twist and you have on great story that is super quick and easy to read and will keep you hooked from start to finish.

I loved Radley and her Grandmother in this story. Her grandmother was such a funny individual who is so wise and accepting beyond her years that it makes it hard to be mad at her for not telling Radley everything that pertains to her right up front. You really can't fault the woman for the reasons she chose to keep quite but it was really fun to see her reason with Radley and help her towards the wolf shifters who are her mates. Radley was also such a strong character to read. She may not be all accepting of what is happening up front because she doesn't understand what is going on but that doesn't stop her curiosity from getting the better of her and really seeing where this connection with the guys may go. Throw in her chemistry with Bryce, Nash and Mason and how they are each so willing to give her everything of themselves and you have one really fun story to read. I for one can't wait to see what monsters are next in this series because they are all such great stories!

There's a lot I want to say.

I like Bryce more than Radley, I've never had a problem with everyone being with everyone, but here I do, I've never read a book with shapeshifters who accept more than one partner who is the ruler of the relationship, or in more common and current words, the passive, I don't think it works well in this type of context, it caused me conflict from the beginning.

I think the whole thing about Radley actually being a wolf lacks coherence, it was just pulled out of nowhere because, even though from the beginning they mention that there is a secret that is hidden from her, I never saw any sign that denoted her inner beast and, while we're at it, here is also the typical cliché of the protagonist who has never ever done something but suddenly is super good at it. I understand that being a werewolf is something very instinctive, but for some reason it seemed too much to me.

And the sex, I also understand that a book shouldn't be judged by its erotic scenes, but I was extremely disappointed with the whole knot thing and the five HOURS it takes to go down (it usually takes between 15 and 30 minutes, I also know that this time frame changes depending on the author, but I've really never read one that took that long to go down), everything about the sexual relationships disappointed me.

The color of the wolves' eyes was another thing that surprised me, usually only alphas have red eyes and sometimes they don't have them either, the way the colors are handled here seemed super curious to me.

It wasn't terribly bad but, even with the fact that it's not very long, it was hard for me to finish it.

That was so good 😭 I truly loved this book! Y’all are in for a treat with this one!!

So, to start off by telling the truth, I’m not a big fan of OV/shifter books. It just doesn’t tickle my pickle, but I respect that others like it and I admire it as a subgenre/trope or whatever you wanna call it. All that to say, I really did enjoy this book. I’m not gonna lie, I was worried going into it, but I was going to try to be objective and help with editing/suggestions, etc. (I’m a beta reader for Ames).

However, Ames made me fall in love with these characters, and I really felt connected to them. I feel like she did really great at explaining all of the concepts of OV/shifters and even some of the things I would’ve thought I’d be icked out over…ended up tickling my pickle?? 😂 this book does a great job of staying in the shifterverse without making it seem overdone, at least in my eyes. I love a good fantasy/pnr, and I feel like Ames did a fantastic job world building…verse building…idk what you call it in an urban setting lol, but I feel like she did amazing explaining all of the nuances and intricacies of the wolves’ lives and hierarchies and ways of living. I would love to see what Ames can do with a high fantasy setting!

I just needed y’all to know that Ames made someone who cringes heavily at OV/shifter stuff need a change of damn panties multiple times 😂 esp the last smex scene when Radley came from the pain of that thing that happens 👀…and then when Nash was tugging from the inside with his 🪢…oh Lordy and when Baby Bryce turned into Dirty Bryce?? Got dayum 🥵
