Two years have passed since anyone has heard from Katie, and her last proof of life lays heavy on the hearts of those who are looking for her. An island is now her prison, in a land she knows nothing about. With her remains the last of Midas’s captives, but they and she are fading fast.
Meanwhile, Jared continues the search for the last of his people. Having assumed the identity of Jack Warner, Jared has infiltrated Midas’s crew to depths thus far unreached. But he has yet to come face to face with the man who stole his childhood. With a cover identity as thin as a razor’s edge, Jared risks everything for a shot at Killing Midas.
This series is amazing and well written. Following the story of these children , is both heartbreaking and on the edge of your seat type of read. No spoilers but I was completely relieved at the end.
What great book and series. I enjoyed the writing, the characters and couldn't wait to read the next book when it was done. I loved it so much I read all 3 books in a 2 week period.
Outstanding! Such an exciting book, definitely raised my blood pressure. I was on tenterhooks most of the way through it. Thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy and can’t recommend highly enough.
