This is a well written book with a cast of strong well developed characters centering on Troy and Liz. The author takes you into their lives with chemistry, steam and love and kept me turning the pages with all the action, danger and emotions. She moves the story fluidly with her vividly painted scenes and delivers a terrific read.

Liz have always had crush on her dad's best Troy since she was young. She have admire him and it is because of him that she had wanted to become a lawyer. Fast forward years later the last time she saw him was on the day that she was headed to college. Troy and Liz dad are long time best friends. But Troy is also the head of the Rossi mafia as well as lawyer and a silent Liz 's dad Henry business. Liz became a lawyer of her admiration of Troy not to be on the wrong side of the law. When Liz came home from law school she run into her secret crush Troy, who invited her out to have dinner with him. It was then every thing that she thought she knew changed, after his bombshell confession of who he really is the head of the mob and that my dad is also connected to it somewhat.
When trouble finds them from his enemy Troy and Liz is forced together because her dad didn't want anything to happen to her. And when she tells him about her feelings she didn't expect it to be reciprocated, and when they succumb to their passion it was sizzling and scorching. They decided to keep a secret relationship from her father because Troy didn't want to let her go. However, it doesn't matter because his enemy his targeting Liz and wants her. Henry offer his daughter as a truce to settle the war? But that's a problem because Troy already claimed her as his. What will happen when Henry finds out that although he send Liz with Troy for safe keep he has betrayed the friendship and taken her as his own? How will he react when to the news that Troy put a baby in her stomach? How will Troy react when he finds out that Henry offers Liz to his enemy?

I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect when I read the synopsis but thought I’d give it a shot because I love most of Flora’s books.  Whilst this wasn’t what I usually read from her, it was good!
 
The FMC has just graduated law school (inspired by her long-time crush, her dad’s best friend who is also an attorney).  The MMC owns his own firm and is and attorney, however, he’s in the mafia too.  Her dad, whilst not in the mafia, finances it.
 
I really don’t want to give spoilers, so I’ll just say a few vague, but hopefully insightful things 😉  I loved the MMC & FMC when they were together.  He was kind of a booger to her at first with a hot/cold routine, but it didn’t last (OF COURSE!).  The FMC was stubborn, strong and preferred to stay on the right side of the law.  She also cared a great deal about those she loved and was even willing to make great sacrifices to do what she felt was right for those she loved.
 
I loved the semi-side character, her main bodyguard.  He was sassy, but caring.  HATED her dad.  Like, he literally was the worst, ever.  He’s completely selfish and just a jerk.
 
The story comes together with a dramatic ending, but it ends with the HEA we all need so much.  The 3 epilogues were cute.
 
Definitely recommend the story, just don’t expect your usual Flora dad’s best friend story. 😉  (it’s a bit darker).

There’s probably nothing quite as shocking as discovering your family is not who you thought they were. When Liz bumps into Troy, her father’s best friend, who inspired her dream of becoming a lawyer, it stirs the embers of a crush she had on him years ago. So, when he invites her to dinner, the last thing she expected was a confession that he and her father are involved with the Mob and that Troy is the head of the Rossi family. Sadly, this was not one of my favorite Flora Ferrari novels. The connection between Troy and Liz didn’t seem as passionate as I’m used to seeing in her books. Yes, they had lots of sex, but that indefinable sense of intimacy was missing. Perhaps this was due to the constant presence of Gerard, Troy’s second in command, who seemed to keep pointing out that Liz shouldn’t take the affair seriously. Was he just trying to make her feel bad? Then there was also Liz’s dad, who just kept sweeping in to turn Liz’s life upside down. And despite his claim to the contrary, when things got bad, he was willing to sacrifice his daughter for his own good. And while Troy protested, he didn’t seem to put up much of a fight. So, perhaps it was lucky for Liz that the bad guys showed their true colors before there was no going back, and although she was ultimately saved by Troy, I had to wonder what would have happened if everyone had been on their best behavior.

For the Love of the Family -
Even though Liz had been crushing on her father’s best friend and idolised him, she never expected Troy to see her as anything other than a kid, so she was shocked when their night of catching up turn into one heck of a pleasure filled encounter. However, Troy realised the potential implications of crossing the line and made a decision to stay far away from Liz.

Unfortunately, Troy and Liz found themselves having to spend time in close proximity after a dangerous situation and their willpower crumbled very quickly, which led to them engaging in intense pleasure-filled encounters. Even though they tried to keep their relationship secret, unforeseen circumstances forced them to reveal it before they were ready. Fortunately, Liz’s dad managed to accept their relationship, as Liz had life changing news that made him really happy.

I really enjoyed reading this age gap romance story with a mafia twist, that had me hooked from the first chapter and kept my attention all the way until the end. If you are looking for an amazing book to sink your teeth into, then I recommend you grab a copy of this one, because it will be a worthwhile reading experience.

Liz is a lawyer now just like her father's Troy who she last saw when she was leaving for college. Now she's back and she's run into Troy again leading to some unexpected feelings. Besides Liz as had a crush on Troy for a long time and and was afraid that she would give it away if she spent too much time with Troy.

Then one day her whole life was turned upside down. Her father told her that she needed to quit her job and learn her father's business. For the first time ever she was told the truth about her father's and Troy's work and she is angry about their lies. Then her boss lets her go because of her family's criminal connections and how it touches their new case. Now Liz has no choice but to work for Troy. To her shock Troy seems to be attracted to her to. Can they act upon their feelings and betray her father?.

Illicit Temptation is book 7 of the Delicious Taboos series. It's a steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, curvy girl gets her Dad's best friend, mafia romance. Liz is a 25 year old, feisty, sassy, curvy virgin and attorney. Troy is the hunky head of the local mafia and her dad's best friend and business partner, who's in his mid-40s. Liz runs into Troy in the city. They have not seen each other for a few years. Both are attracted to each other. But when they meet up with her dad, her world is shaken up as she was not aware of the family crime connections. As tensions escalate between rival mafia families, she finds herself in danger with Troy protecting her. They grow closer, and it gets hot and steamy!! Their chemistry was pure fire and hot enough to melt my Kindle. What will her father say? Can Troy keep her safe? There is a lot of drama, but once resolved, we got an amazing HEA. I loved the 3 epilogues and hope we get a short story on Gerard :).

Fantastic. Oh my, has she grown up since the last time he saw her. Troy is seeing his business partner and best friend’s daughter in a whole new way. He invites her to his house to catch up, at least that’s what he tells her. Henry would kill him if he knew the thoughts he is having about his daughter. Liz is surprised by the invite after Troy abruptly ended their conversation but, agrees to meet him. Did I mention that she’s always had a crush on him? Things get complicated when they have to hide out together after a rival starts targeting Liz. They hide their relationship from Henry. So, Troy is furious when he offers up Liz as a wife to the same man that was targeting her. Like that’s EVER going to happen as long as he’s breathing. Tune in to see the fireworks that erupt on many fronts.

Troy is not going to let Liz get away but what about his best friend, Liz’s dad? What about the mafia? They have such electricity, scorching chemistry, smoking heat. He wants this woman all the time - forever. This is a sexy, hot, passionate story. There are so many things going on it makes it interesting, twist and turns, round and round they go one discover after another. But one thing that stays the same is their love. Really a great, enjoyable read filled with sizzle, heat and love!.

I loved this book. Troy and Liz were brought together for her safety, but they had known each other for many years. This is an age gap, mob romance. Lots of steam, some drama but not excessive. The plot is great and I enjoy the newer books of Ms. Ferrari. A delightful read. I had many of her books and each one that is released I get it. :) I'm looking forward to the next one.

This book will definitely have you hooked from the beginning until the end and the storyline flows throughout the book and you have you sitting on the edge of your seat. It's filled with suspense and action packed and chemistry and romance and so much more. Troy is Liz dad's best friend and also partner in the mafia business as both families have different ties but when a other mafia man(family) causes them trouble will it end up destroying them and hurting or worse yet someone dying? When Troy sees Liz all grown up will he cross the lines of friendship and fight for the chance to be with Liz or will she push him away and try to save her dad and Troy? This book will suck you in and make you feel apart of the story.

She went to school to be a lawyer not knowing who or what Troy and her dad did exactly. Liz ends up in hiding with Troy to protect them both while Henry is dealing with Vitali, another Families boss. Vitali comes up with the perfect plan to will tie the two families together. The problem is Liz. Troy has claimed Liz as his and refuses to let her go. They further their relationship, so what happens when Henry finds out the truth about Troy and Liz? What happens when Vitali doesn't get what he wants?

Wow, this book was a roller-coaster ride of forbidden fruit, two best friends, Mafia, Lawyers, arranged marriage, father / daughter relationship. A Mafia Boss needs an Heir for when his gone, his best friend is a Lawyer and partner in investments and a best friends daughter. Troy is a Mafia Boss has had a crush on Liz, his best friend is also his business partner. Liz has had a crush on Troy but he is her father's best friend and business partner and the twist and turns in this story. I would recommend reading this book.

I loved Illicit Temptation Book 7 of Delicious Taboos. Running into Troy has stirred up feelings in Liz but he’s her dad’s best friend. When he asks her to meet up she can’t say no. They have a connection but what can they do, her father will kill them. When danger is coming for Liz, Troy will do whatever he can to keep her safe. Liz didn’t know the life her father and Troy were in but now she’s lost her job, she’s on the run, and her father is asking the impossible of her. I loved this storyline and the characters. Lots of drama and steamy scenes. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

In this book we meet Liz Massino & Troy Watkins. Liz is about to have more trouble than she knows what to do with. The problem with this is her father thinks he has the solution. He will get Troy to watch over her. The thing is she really does have a thing for Troy but knows he will never go against her dad. Troy has wanted Liz for as long as he can remember. The thing is he would never go against his boss. Can these two find a HEA or will they find a way out in the end?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Wonderful another story from Flora Ferrari. We follow the journey that Liz and Troy make. You are glued to their story from the first page. She never knew that her father's best friend was a mafia boss, she thought he was a lawyer because that's why she went to school to become a lawyer too. What a shock it is when it turns out that things are different and that not only her father is also active in the mafia. I enjoyed their story and can definitely recommend this book.

I loved Liz and Troy. Liz found out that she still had feelings for him even though he was her Dad's best friend. Liz's father has set up a marriage for his daughter to a creep. When danger comes for Liz, Troy will protect her and keep her safe. Liz had no idea that Troy was in the Mafia, she's lost her job, and she's running from her father and his crazy choice for her to marry. The storyline was fantastic and the characters were awesome. (All but Henry, he was just horrible.) Plenty of drama and lots of steam.

Its been a while since I’ve read a Flora Ferrari book and after this one, I can’t remember why! It was SO good and Liz and Troy together were the best.
If you like mafia romance, I can’t recommend this one highly enough, I LOVED it! Troy was the most wonderful book boyfriend and Liz was a woman to be reckoned with. Don’t miss out on this one, 5 stars!!.

When she finally achieved her goals, she learned a shocking secret about him and when a deal goes bad her father ask him to take Liz away for safety. What he didn't expect was for the relationship that would blossom between them. Will Troy's and Liz's relationship end the friendship between her father and Troy. I love a spicy mafia romance and Illicit Temptation by Flora Ferrari was a definite 5 star read! Troy hasn't seen Liz since she was a young girl and he is blown away by how beautiful and grown up his best friend's daughter is. The connection and the chemistry between them was off the charts hot. Just as things get started, a dangerous situation finds them on the way. Hooked at the very first page.

It was fire that can't be smoked out and she felt the same way too. Secrets get unburied, danger lurks for them, and the truth of their feelings come out. I get bored with the beginning of books if it’s too drawn out. I am a sucker for an insta-love that’s a quicker read. This book checked all of my boxes. It has an HEA, no cliffhanger.
