3 - 3.25 smut-scale stars!

Elliot is wealthy and owns a ranch and has been obsessed with Camille but hasn’t had the courage to ask her out.

Camille has a secret and so she doesn’t think she’ll ever deserve Elliot. When fate throws them together, Elliot has his work cut out to show Camille she’s worth everything.

“You don’t get it now, but you will. I love having you on my arm, Camille Trotter.”

Short and sweet, I didn’t love everything about this book but I didn’t hate it either. Elliot was a big presence with a quiet dominance. Camille had a lot of self doubt but found her voice. Overall, a decent smutty read.

Oh my god!
I absolutely love Hope Ford, she is amazing and so talented and her men?!! They just make me swoon!!!
They also know what they want and go for it! Elliott is so amazing but a little wary if he is enough because of past relationships
Camille is so strong and brave and doesn’t think anyone would want her, and when these two get together? They are so amazing!
This is an amazing quick, sweet, steamy read!.

“Stranded with a bossy rancher” is the story of Camille and Elliott.

Actually a very heartwarming romance between a single pregnant woman and a grumpy smitten man. I really found it endearing how he stepped up and didn’t harass her about her past. Sweet ending.

I am such a big fan of Hope Ford stories and this one made me swoon again. Alliott and Camille are both strong, in very different ways and deserve each other and their love.

But Camille is reluctant to accept Elliot’s help, especially with the simmering attraction between them. She is pregnant by this dude who’s the nephew of the boss named Raymond at her job that she works at and what makes it better is that he is married so she is doomed and when she gets fired by Wyatt for being pregnant out of wedlock she has nowhere to go and so Elliot offers her a job because he likes her but he’s also not evil like anyone else. He calls them dumb and gives her a few days to make up her mind and then she agrees and it’s a PA job and work from home meaning she has to move in. He already likes her more like LOVES HER. She tries to place an order for feed and they deny it no matter how much she begs and the only reason they don’t place it is because she’s pregnant lmao how dumb. So this man goes to the store and says if they ever disrespect his woman again it’s game on. He starts ordering from a different feed store and all is good. When they come home one thing leads to another and mind you till this point in the story they have made out and now they are finally getting their freak on. The next morning she gets a call from a reporter on her relationship with Elliot and if he is the father of the child, so she runs away in a flooding zone and gets stuck until he saves her and when he drops her home, gives her a shower, shows her his list of wishes for her, which is for her to be happy, take a shower with her, love her more than life itself and many more and he’s like I’ve been in love with you and I would love our daughter like she’s my own and mind you he can’t have kids because of a bull riding accident and some of his past relationships acted really nasty about it. She loves him too and mind you he goes to the reporter and says he’s going to marry her someday and their child as well. AHHHH SO CUTE. In the end their daughter Katie is born and he is a bit overwhelmed and she wonders if he can’t take it or not but he reassures her and asks her to marry him and she says yes YAYAYYAYAYAY.

He may be bossy but he also wants to wrap her up and keep her safe

Stranded with a Bossy Rancher by Hope Ford is part of the multi-author Marooned For A Night series. This story is an OTT, roller-coaster ride, overwhelming want/need, mixed with an older Alpha rancher with deep roots in the community and a younger and somewhat innocent woman who has no family. Camille Trotter grew up on foster care, never knowing who her parents were. She is now living in a trailer on the outskirts of town and works at the Feed Haven. Elliott Barnett owns and manages the ranch that has been in his family for generations. When his parents died he brought up his younger sister, who is now married to his best friend and they live on an adjoining ranch. When Elliott first saw Camille three months ago all he knew was that he wanted her in a way he had never felt before. Since then he has made almost daily trips to the Feed Haven, on any pretext, just to see her. He is not sure how to ask her out as he sees in her eyes things that he knows he will have to overcome. But when he hears her boss firing her, because she is unwed and pregnant by his nephew, then all bets are off for Elliott and he about to get his Cammy. He offers her a job as his assistant on the ranch, as his sister has been wanting him to get someone, and quickly moves her into the ranch house. But once Cammy is there Elliott is completely bossy and overprotective, leaving Cammy not knowing what to do as she needs the job since no one else in town will hire her in her situation.
I loved this OTT, fast-paced, well written and very entertaining story. I loved the characters, even as I wanted to kick Elliott at times and wrap Cammy in a big hug for reassurance. Hope Ford is one of my favorite writers and in this book she is proving to me just why.

It was good to see Maddie and Rhett show up in this story as side characters. They were the couple from It was great to see a little clip into their relationship after finishing the book. I honestly thought this book was too sweet. this story was more like a RomCom with some drama. I guess I'm not a fan of mushy, lovey dovie sweet romances. And that's what this was. It was very low on the spice it was just to slow. I was kinda glad to finish it honestly.

I can feel eyes on us, and I scoot out of the end of the booth to stand up. “I’m going to the ladies’ room. I’ll be right back.”

Stranded With the Bossy Rancher is part of the Marooned for a Night Series. This book by Hope Ford. 

Elliott has harbored a crush on Camille ever since she started working at his local feed supply store. In fact, he is pretty much obsessed. So when he overhears the store owner terminating her because of her pregnancy, he is furious. Even more so when he learns the details of the relationship from which that pregnancy resulted. Elliott immediately steps up with a solution that will offer her a better future and him a chance at a life with her. 

I have to begin by saying I am not a fan of the whole pregnant by someone else trope. I chose to read this one anyway because I am a huge fan of Hope Ford and her writing. In fact, all of her Whiskey Run books are awesome. As always, this story is well written, the characters are likable, and the chemistry between them is good.  I did feel like there should have been something from the actual father of the child included, even if she just addressed his reaction to the pregnancy. But all we know is that unbeknownst to Camille, he was married at the time of their relationship. Overall, I liked the book, and this series has been great.

Stranded with the Bossy Rancher is part of the Marooned for the Night series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, curvy girl gets her rancher boss romance. Camille (Cammy) is a young, curvy girl who is pregnant and works at the local feed store. Elliot is a hunky, wealthy rancher who likes her. When he overhears her being unfairly fired for being unwed and pregnant at the feed store, he promptly offers her a job. After some thought and bossy persuasion from Elliot, she agrees. Elliot already wants to marry her but doesn't want to scare her. OMG, the chemistry between these two is pure fire, and the way Ellliot cares for her and stands up for her is everything!! We do have a little angst because Cammy thinks she is protecting Elliot. I wanted to smack her lol but when she gets stranded and saved again by Elliot, she confronts her feelings. We then got a very happy ending. I love anything Hope writes, and this did not disappoint. Her characters have so much depth, and you can feel all their emotions. I just loved it and am adding Elliot to my book boyfriend collection...😍🔥🥵. She is one of my must-read authors!!.

Meh ok lots of background just glazed over.
122 pages.

We met Elliot in the previous book with Maddie and rhett. But for some reason, his character seemed to be changed in this one.
In the first book, he was all about exposing Maddie's love for rhett and helping them get along. He went to a conference in Vegas. But for some reason, in this book, he is portrayed as quiet and bossy.. seemed a weird change.

Camille works at the local feed, and i assume hardware shop for the farmers.
She is pregnant with the owners nephew, who happens to be married and never told her.

Elliot is instantly in love, so he overs her a job when she gets fired for being pregnant to his nephew (illegal but sure).

The issues I had.
1. Out of nowhere, Elliott mentions that Camille never had family and grew up in foster care..ok, do you have anything more on that?? No ok moving along then, I guess.
2. Elliot had some sort of accident that left him infertile as a young bull rider.. Is there anything more on that?? No ok moving along.
3. Do we need to know anything more about the father of the baby or you know meet him? No, ok.

The nickname "bear" eww was so cringe.

Quick easy read if you want a palette cleanese or something that requires not much thought.

Elliott is the absolute SWEETEST man I’ve ever read!! Yeah, he’s a LITTLE bossy but it’s never in an “I’m the boss, you have to do what I say” kind of way; it was always to save or protect Camille, not just to throw his weight around.
Camille worked at the local feed store where Elliott’s ranch bought their feed and, through his daily visits (just to see her) he began to fall in love but his heart nearly breaks when he overhears that she’s pregnant by another man. When she’s fired because her pregnancy with no relationship casts her employer in an unfavorable light (I just rolled my eyes so hard I think I saw my brain!), it gives Elliott a chance to get her in his house and to try to make her fall in love with him.
This was an angst free, sweet romance that I LOVED (Elliott was just SO perfect!) and 100% recommend to all lovers of romance. WARNING: It’s sure to get you all up in your feels. 5 stars!!!.

Elliot is a millionaire rancher who goes into the supply store everyday to grow loser to Camille , he has fallen in love with her from a far but doesn't know that she carries with her a secret till she is fired one day and he over hears it! He offers her a job and place for her to stay at his ranch. Camille is a young single woman who is 3 months pregnant with a married mans baby , tho he never told her he was married . She worked for he`s uncle in his ranch supply store till one day he fired her because she is pregnant. Elliot over hears everything and offers her a job and she is very hesitant on taking it because over him she developed feelings for him but thinks its wrong because of the situation she is in. After 2 days she agrees and moves into the ranch and works for Elliot and their relationship starts to blossom , but she is scared about the people in town who talk about her and doesn't want it to be bad for Elliot and his ranch and reputation.

Elliot has been in love with Camille since he met her at the town store, and since then he goes every day to buy something just to see her. One day he overhears her getting fired because she got pregnant by the store owner's nephew whom he did not know was married, and immediately he offers her a job and board; he does need some help at the ranch but also wants to be close to her. They were both so sweet and thoughtful towards each other, even to the point of Camille trying to leave so as not to damage Elliot's reputation.

This was a well-written short story but full of emotions. It was sexy, very very sweet, and some parts were really touching. TBH I was hoping that maybe Elliot would turn out to be wrong about not being able to have children. I enjoyed this story so much, and I have not read Maddie's story but I definitely need to stat!!.

Their journey is enthralling with being stranded with a bossy rancher, mature, explicit romance that is engulfed by steamy, sizzling passion, lust, desire, and spice with all the feelings to have readers' toes curling and hot and bothered, boss/employee romance, pregnancy romance, small town romance, action, adventure, suspense, heartfelt emotions that will have readers needing Kleenex or Puffs for the tears threatening to spill down their cheeks, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author, who knows how to captivate her readers' hearts and attention with being stranded with a bossy rancher and an explicit romance that is sure to transport readers into a world of oblivion that is wild and unforgettable.

From the moment he sees Camille, Elliott can’t seem to get her out of his mind. I loved how he had to come into the feed supply store every day just to see her, so he was in the right place at the right time when she’s fired for being an unwed mother. Really! I guess small-town America is still in the Middle Ages. Anyway, with no one in town willing to hire her, she has little choice than to accept the job offered by Elliott. Elliott bends over backwards to make Camille comfortable at his ranch and though he’s a bit bossy, things seem to be going great. But when the press gets wind of her living at the ranch with Elliott and her pregnancy, she makes the stupidest decision of her life. I guess we can blame it on the hormones!

Was this written in 1953?

Because seriously, where are the modern societal standards here? Let’s recap. A vulnerable young woman is preyed upon by her employer’s relative, and then illegally fired for being pregnant. She needs a lawyer and a social media account, not a new relationship with the same unequal power balance. But that’s what she gets, jumping in with both feet, because… she needs someone to take care of her and the baby? Again, what?!

She appears to have marketable skills and no ties to this horrible backwater town. Why doesn’t she leave? Why doesn’t she stand up for herself? And then, at the end, the “bossy” rancher takes parent’s responsibility for her baby, sidestepping the legal system once again. The predatory baby daddy gets to continue on with his life with no consequences, but it’s ok, because LOVE!

Hard pass for me.

This book is a part of the Marooned for a Night series and focuses on Elliott and Camille. Elliott is a very successful rancher who has had his eye on Camille from the moment that he met her. He had been slowly getting her to get used to him and getting to know him for a few months. She worked at the feed store in town so he used every imaginable excuse he could to get to the store to see her as often as possible. When Camille ends up in a rough situation, he is right there to help his woman out. I absolutely loved how Elliott was 100% all in with Camille from the get go and did everything that he could to get his woman. He was everything that Camille had been needing in life and she brought the light to his life. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

I love Elliott! He’s the perfect grump who falls first and hard. Camille worries about ruining Elliott’s reputation. Camille is pregnant, alone, without a job and being called a home wrecker. The father of her baby is a married man.
Seeing that Camille is in trouble, Elliott offers her a job and a place to live. First and foremost, he wants to take care of her and her baby. They are both important to him.
I enjoyed watching how Elliott was tender and caring for Camille. She was so afraid to accept it but he was able to convince her that he loved her and their baby.
This author is absolutely wonderful! I fell in love with this book and the epilogue. This is a must read book!.

I really loved this story by Hope Ford. She is one of my favorite authors. I can't ever turn down a chance to read her stories. I know that I am in for an amazing story. Elliott is a rancher who has a crush on Camille who works at the feed store. He is waiting to take his time but when he overhears her getting fired, he offers her a job. He hopes this will lead to them becoming more. Camille made a mistake in trusting a man who turns out to be married. She is now pregnant and out of a job. She takes the job and wants to do a good job. She also is drawn to him. Will they get a chance at happiness together forever?

I love this series, Marooned For a Night. Each book is a stand-alone. You can read it in under an hour. Elliott is a rancher who has fallen hard for Camille, who works at the feed store he buys from. He's fallen so hard that he finds some reason to go there daily to see her. He doesn't know that she's pregnant and is fired because of it. Of course, our good-hearted and in-love rancher can't let her be treated this way. So he offers her a job. The story gets better and better. There is lots of steam and a wonderful HEA. I loved this book!

I loved Stranded with a Bossy Rancher. Hope Ford writes the best stories. Elliott comes into town every day just to see Camille. One of these days he will ask her out but his plans get pushed forward when she gets fired from her job for ridiculous reasons. He offers her a job and his heart. Camille wants Elliott just as badly but her past makes her resist Elliott. She doesn’t want the town to turn on him and tries to run but he won’t have it. This is a sweet storyline and I loved the characters. He’s a protector and he will do anything for Camille. I would definitely recommend this book.

Elliott has been obsessed with Camille since he first saw her in the feed store. When he overhears a conversation between Camille and her boss, he knows now’s the time to make his move. Camille finds herself pregnant and unemployed and with a bit of coaxing, agrees to Elliott’s offer to work at his ranch, but can she keep her feelings in check? Elliott and Camille were perfect for each other. Elliott was the big, overprotective bear that Camille needed to make her feel loved and wanted and Elliott just wanted someone who wanted him for himself and not what he could give them. Another great story by this author. I received an ARC copy of this book.

This was a really good book. I really enjoyed Camille and Elliott together. These two are drawn to each other since they first met but Camille believes that she can't be with Elliott. I loved how Elliott was devoted to Camille and was willing to fight for her but I had issues with Elliott always having to convince Camilly that he love her; Camille need consistent reassurances. I am glad that these two got an HEA.

This was a fun read that brought together Elliot and Camille. In all honesty, Elliot has been crushing on her for months and makes every excuse to shop in the farm supply store she works in, almost daily ;) This lets him witness her being publicly fired by her boss. Well. Elliot doesn't like it but it opens the door to him getting closer to her, and making his sister happy, by hiring her to work on his ranch... What follows is a feel-good romance that lets Camille heal from a downside of small town living and finding the wonderful HEA both she and Elliot deserve. Good fun!

From the first time billionaire Elliott set eyes on Camille at the feed store he was a goner. He shows up everyday to buy something for his ranch that he does not need just to see her. When she gets fired from the feed store because she is pregnant Elliott comes to her defense by offering her a job at his ranch because he wants her and her baby. Now all he has to do is convince her he wants it all with her without being so bossy.
