Penny Aldin I’m about to get married tomorrow. My career is skyrocketing. Life is perfect. Until it isn’t. But what can be worse than having an X-rated tape of your fiancé railing a supermodel played out at your live show? Running into your high school tormentor in your moment of need and him slamming the door in your face. I need to escape the attention of the world and Lucas Alessi is offering me a place to hide. With him. Can I really trust him after what he did? Was everything that happened really a lie? I guess I have no other option than to trust him.
Lucas Alessi I hate Penelope Aldin. Hate her. She got me kicked out of school which ultimately led to the death of my best friend. So, when I find her sobbing in the hall of a hotel surrounded by paparazzi, I shouldn’t help her. But I do. When she needs a place to lay low, I shouldn’t offer her my cabin. But I do. I definitely shouldn’t be getting naked with her in a storm. But I do. Fake dating her seemed like a good idea, but now I’m falling deeper, and I don’t know if either of us can survive. It’s time to prove we are unbreakable.

When she’s not dreaming up stories about couples and their road to finding love, sometimes bumpy but always a lot of fun, she can be found taking pole dancing lessons, reading, and writing.
Lucas is hands down book boyfriend worthy. Absolutely loved this store. My first, but not last by Mrs. Stanizzo. His brothers are absolutely hilarious. Can't wait to go back and read their stories. I can't believe Penny was backstabbed for so long. Like how can that person be so hateful. I'm glad Penny and Lucas was able to get past their past and get their HEA.
Lucas Alessi is the ultimate book boyfriend, and his story with Penny is an emotional rollercoaster that doesn’t disappoint. This was my first book by Mrs. Stanizzo, but it certainly won’t be my last. Lucas’s hilarious brothers add charm and humor, making me eager to dive into their stories as well.
The romance between Lucas and Penny takes you from enemies to lovers at lightning speed, but their journey is packed with sizzling chemistry and heartfelt moments. Lucas’s protective instincts shine as he rescues Penny from relentless paparazzi and shelters her in his secluded cabin, where they uncover the misunderstandings that tore them apart years ago. As old feelings resurface, so do new challenges, including betrayals and constant attacks on Penny’s reputation. The mystery behind who’s sabotaging her life builds tension, culminating in a dramatic showdown at Lucas’s gallery opening.
With sharp banter, compelling family dynamics, betrayal, love, and some seriously steamy scenes, this story wraps up The Alessi Brothers series in a captivating and satisfying way. It’s a page-turner filled with drama, redemption, and a well-deserved happily ever after for Lucas and Penny. Highly recommended for fans of fast-paced, fiery romance!
Unbreakable by Sonia Stanizzo ⭐️4/5 🥰Fake Dating 🥰Slow Burn 🥰Enemies to Lovers
I loved Unconditional, and I wasn’t sure anything could beat it. However Unbreakable is hands down my new favorite!
Lucas and Penny have a past, and they can’t stand each other. Its all due to a misunderstanding they had years ago. The chemistry between these two could burn down a building. When penny finds herself needing help, Lucus volunteers to help. The banter and tension will have you hooked.
I loved the end to this series! I can’t wait to see what Sonia has planned for us next! I would highly recommend this as your next read!
This is the third book in the Alessi brothers series, and although it can be read as a stand-alone novel, I would recommend reading the other two books, 'Unforgettable' and 'Unconditional', first to really appreciate the characters and some of the events that are referenced in the book.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was well written, and I loved the way Lucas and Penny interacted. Sparks definitely flew off the page! I'm looking forward to reading the next book that Sonia Stanizzo publishes.
I really enjoyed UNBREAKABLE because it was original in many ways. From the first scene, we are a little rattled by what is happening to Penny. We meet Lucas and are frankly, not impressed, so as the story unfolds we are kept a little off balance as Penny and Lucas try to keep one step ahead of an avalanche of PR disasters.
If you like spice, head scratching twists, misunderstandings to love romances, you will enjoy this book. As a recipient of an early copy of this book I can recommend it to romance readers.
With author's permission I read ARC. What an exciting story with successful people who are high school enemies who meet again in a really awkward way and for me, 😭 I cried. Something compelled Alessi to help Penny as they figure stuff out past and present.
Some of the story leaves us to suspend belief and that is my markdown. The small town/& cabin depressed me 😞 but they managed to get the forest pictures out of that experience.
This is a well written book with strong characters in Lucas and Penny. The author does a great job developing the story and painting her scenes perfectly. She takes you into their lives with sparks flying ... in more ways than one! She kept me turning the pages with all the ups and downs along with the slow burn romance. She moves it fluidly and delivers a terrific read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and are freely given.
I really liked the characters Penny and Lucas. Both of them had done some morally grey things in the past that made them enemies. Circumstances throw them together and they confront their past. Penny truly was “unbreakable” with the help of Lucas. There was a HEA after the characters evolve. I assume there are other books about Lucas’s siblings so I plan to hunt those down! I received an advanced free copy of this book and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is just, at heart, the sweetest romance ever, but that wouldn't be interesting to read. No, someone has it in for our heroine and every time things start to go well for her, they throw a monkey in the works.
Nice writing, good storyline, quick read. Can't ask for more.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I loved this book!! Enemies to lovers and twists galore. Lucas and Penny hate each other based on things that happened in their past. Lucas unexpectedly becomes Penny’s savior when the paparazzi strike. From that moment on you’re taken on a roller coaster of hatred to love and finding out the truth behind things that happened.
I loved this book so much l. Lucas and Penny were a match made in heaven. The ups and down and the rollercoaster of events that take place is just so captivating and I couldn’t put it down. As for her best friend I couldn’t stand her. I wanted to hit her myself she had me so mad.
Lucas and penny have a lot of hate for each other but when they are forced together truths come out. I enjoyed this book I did find for some reason the first two books of the series held my interest more.
This book is an enemy to lovers book and will have you hooked. Penny believes everything is going great in her world until a sex tape of her fiance is revealed in the most humiliating way. When Lucas is there and helps her even though he hates her things get very steamy. Absolutely loved it.
This was a beautiful story , enemies to lovers, spicy ,sweet and a goregous tail of love . Sonia has such a beautiful way with words and her stories are full beautiful love stories with complex , backgrounds and amazing twists and turns
The fact that Claudia was the bad guy really hit me and honestly the portrayal of the jealous friend was written amazingly and really added to the growth of love between our two MCs
It’ll give you whiplash how fast these two go from being ‘can’t stand each other’ enemies to falling into bed together, but despite the hatred they harbour for each other, Lucas steps in to save Penny from the unrelenting paparazzi, and not just once, eventually whisking her away to his secluded cabin in the woods. Once they get to the bottom of the misunderstandings of the past, the feelings they once had come roaring back in the present. The mystery of who is purposely blowing up Penny’s life and tipping off the paps to her whereabouts, builds throughout the story as their relationship does. The betrayals and constant hits to Penny’s reputation come to a head at Lucas’s gallery show opening in dramatic fashion. There’s lots going on in the story to keep the interest levels high. The banter between our main characters will keep you on your toes and the relationships with extended family members adds to the storytelling. There’s betrayal, love, and some scorching hot scenes in this very enjoyable conclusion to The Alessi Brothers series.
