Nikki and Mike's story was perfect! I couldn't get enough of them! Even though they had some bumps in there relationship that they couldn't control I love that Mike never gave up them! Plus that ending was super sweet! ❤

What happens when the Flight Attendant and the Politician ignite sparks from a one night stand?
Nikki Maguire and Mike Gowan are two strangers that are stranded in a hotel due to bad weather. He needs to get back to DC and she was headed home to Hope Falls.
He saves her from unwanted advances from another man and she likes that he's easy on the eyes. The conversation is free flowing for these two and while they notice how attractive the other is, nothing happens until after they survive being stuck in the elevator for a little while.
What happens when they both believe that what they shared was just more than great sex and they can't get each other out of their heads? Nikki enlists the help of her Book club besties and her sister to help her navigate whatever this relationship is and Mike deals with the overcontrolling mother and assistant and the ex that just refuses to go away as he pursues Nikki.
When it all comes to a head, will these two admit their love and weather the storm?
This series is my guilty pleasure that helps me destress from a long day at work. Jake and Tessa (Let It Snow, book 8) are my favorite couple, but I have the first four to read yet and will do that soon.

WOOWEEEE!!! Melanie and Shawna have made this the hottest sexiest book by far in the Hope Falls Series...In "Snowed In " we have Nikki's story ...she falls hard and fast for a Hot.. and very very sexy politician... Michael Gowan.... Their story is full of steamy love scenes... Intrigue.. Betrayal.. lies and heart stopping moments and a whole lot of drama... Their lives are turned on their heads in a thrilling way... throw in an over bearing mother and witch of an Ex into the mix and watch the sparks fly... they are pulling out all the stops to keep Mike and Nikki apart...But Mike will fight with everything he has to hold on to love of his life..... Will Nikki stay to fight...or will she go... They know they cannot live without each other but will they get their HEA with so much dividing them.. You have to read this story and the whole series to find out.. now looking forward to Jake's Story.. and there have to be more stories from the Town of Hope falls authors PLEASEEEEEE

What can I say... I love this author and I love her books!!
Snowed in is another cute and sexy love story with a lot of love and happiness!
You get hooked right from the start, Nikki is such a fun and strong character, and when Mike appears, she just turns to mush, it´s so adorable. And Mike... gah... I just love how fast and hard he falls for her! It truly is one of those Love at first sight stories.
I would have liked to have read about Mike dealing with his mother and Phil - he´s just such a strong character, that I would have enjoyed him setting them straight - preferrably with Nikki by his side!
As always, looking forward to Melanie´s next book!

Melanie Shawn produces well written and edited, entertaining, sweet steamy romantic tales. Hope Falls is an awesome series, that does not let you down. The themes and hurdles the couples go through varies in every book.
In Snowed In we get glimpses of political battles, ailing mind games, the lengths people are willing to go to win in the 'game' -- but the main theme is the instant, blazing, sizzling, steamy love between Nikki and Mike. It takes a great sense of humor, clear mind, and trust for this couple to make it to their HEA.

Perfect romantic comedy on paper
Like the others in this.series, this did not disappoint! I was thoroughly entertained, turned on, excited, nervous, and ecstatic along with the beautifully written characters. Every book I fall in love all over again and dive deeper into the large family of friends that make up this incredible clan. I'm sure the next story about Jake will be quite enthralling as well. Loved this! :)

This was my first book by this author. I didn't realize it was part of a series and now I will have to go back and read the rest of the books. I really enjoyed Mike and Nikki's stories, and getting glimpses of all the stories set in this small town that came before this one. I love an author that writes great well rounded stories with characters you would want as your own friends, and this author does just that.

I didn't think it was possible to love a character/book more than the previous six, but I think Melanie Shawn did it with book 7! I LOVE Matt and Nikki! I love that they each met their match. She's feisty and determined. He's sexy and sexy. I love books that have drama where you want to throw the book or climb inside of it and slap someone. This one had it. Another great read from Melanie! I can't wait to see what happens with Jake! :)

Another incredible read in the Hope Falls series! Nikki and Mikes characters were so well suited and came across perfectly. The chemistry, affection and attraction were through the roof!

I liked that this one didn't center in hope falls, but incorporated the characters. Loved it! But sure wanted to see some whoop ads at the end. it left out the confrontations that would happen, and while not necessary, I would have enjoyed reading it play out.

My very first Melanie Shaw book and I really enjoyed the book. A really good contemporary romance with two likeable characters. Definitely a book that I would enjoy re-reading.

Nikki is sitting in a bar in Dallas all because of a storm that has grounded all flights. She hates being "hit" on by men who are so much older than her, married and don't care since their wife isn't there and of course this last one who thinks he's entitled because he's rich and doesn't take no for an answer. When she tells him she's waiting on someone, he must see through her ruse and decide to have a seat and keep her "company" until said date arrives. Oh boy. Then a miracle happens when a man comes up behind her and says he hopes he hasn't kept her waiting too long! Wow, and what a man he is. She quickly looks him over, and he seems legit, no wedding band or anything! So she accepts his offer-so to speak. After entitled finally leaves, the new guy sits down. They proceed to talk, and before they know it, the bar is closing. Where did the time go? She finds out his name is Mike, and as he leads her to the elevator, she likes the fact that he puts his hand on her lower back. It makes her feel - safe for some reason. He asks her for her floor, and she tells him 14, and then he pushes the penthouse for his. He must be someone important, but before she gets a chance to ask him anymore questions, the elevator stops! Oh no, her worst fear is happening. You would think being a stewardess that elevators wouldn't affect her, but man, oh man, do they ever. Mike surprises her again and takes care of her before she has a complete meltdown. Who is this guy? Will Mike tell her who he is? What happens the next morning? Why is his campaign manager Phil in Dallas? Why can't Phil and his mother Clara get it in their heads that Mike isn't interested in Elizabeth (Lizzie)? 'Holy Moly that was amazing'
I just love Melanie Shawn's books. I haven't read a bad one yet. I'm still trying to get through all of these series, but you can only read so many books in a month.
I was kind of hoping this story wouldn't end where it did because I had this idea that Mike would have left politics and focused on charities and Nikki would have completed her degree in Psychology and opened her own practice or the two joining forces somehow. Anyway, it kept my attention.
In the end - a three-carat princess cut diamond solitaire set in platinum with a 'yes' to go along with it was a sweet ending to this story. I was waiting for Phil and Lizzy to get the boot, escorted out of the building and restraining orders were issued.
Read the last book in this series: Forever Your Girl (Hope Falls: Maguire Family Book 4): sexy Fireman Jake Maguire and Tessa Hayes. She sacrificed her heart for his life. He lived without living. Now they had the chance to mend their broken hearts together...but would Tessa and Jake have the courage to do it? Enjoy and happy reading!

This book was awesome. I have loved Nikki since she has been in the past books and I knew her book was going to be awesome because the harder they believe they are immune the harder they fall, and Nikki was no different.
This book had ups and downs when they were put to the test, but lucky for Nikki that Mike was bitten to hard by love to give up because of lies spread about him. He fought and he won.
If you have been reading this series I know without a shadow of a doubt you will love this hot and sexy story.These two people were meant to be, and it shows in the book.

It was so great to read Nikki's story! Nikki keeps a lot to herself and when she finally connects with someone it was great! Mike is avoiding relationships after his last failed one and his complicated lifestyle. Mike falls for Nikki and realizes that he can't let her walk away. When people get in the way and start causing problems Mike has to make some decisions. This was such a good book! Love this series!!

I enjoyed Nikki's book with the senator but I also found it a bit too far fetched as well.
As much as I've been enjoying the hope falls series, I am ready for something more intense. The "pleasure button" and "pleasure nub" just isn't doing it for me. Nor is the "making love" after a single one night stand. It's sweet. But sometimes I need some salty with my sweet. And this series isn't giving that to me. It's giving me Hallmark movies.

Mike and Nikki met by chance when they’re snowed in one night. From the started it’s a scorching hot love they share.
The story was easy to read and it was easy to see them together and want to see them together.

This story with Nikki and Mike is a lot of fun, and the background with Mike's manipulative campaign manager is interesting. I love how assertive Nikki is, and Mike was a great foil for her. The conflict in their relationship came about naturally and made sense. I really enjoyed this one.

The people are friendly, the scenery is beautiful, and the chances of falling in love are pretty good. Melanie Shawn hasn't created a perfect world, but it's fun, sexy, full of good looking men and women you want to be your BFFs.

The story was fine but there were at least two glaring errors that ripped me out of the zone. Dear author, if you have beta readers and/or editor, you need better ones. Because, apart from a reader hating a book, there is nothing worse than being thrown out of the involvement bubble than errors.
