In this day and age when does expensive for a couple to go out to eat, this is a good cookbook for a simple and for the most part and expensive meals. There are many good photographs with the recipes and a detailed explanation of how to make them. The book covers appetizer, main dishes, and desserts. I found is a very good cookbookand there were Recipes that I would use myself. I would recommend this book for those who need recipes for two people with pictures and explanations of each recipe.
When you are used to cooking for 4 or more people it becomes a chore when you are suddenly only cooking for 1 or 2. Slitting the ingredients is not that difficult but when you get to spices and seasoning you have to rack your brain or get out pen and paper. The recipes in this book are all make with common ingredients. Immediately I had to make the salmon dish. It was so easy and was very good. She recommends you stay home for special occasions and cook up a fancy mean. Not expensive, just use the ingredients you have on hand and make them special.
Pissed both title and cover of a book titled Valentines Day was changed on Amazon to just Dinner for Two so author could market the rest of year but kept same isbn.
