From a young age, and without knowing the Buddhist philosophy thoroughly, but superficially, I always commented that if I had any religion it would be Buddhist (Tibetan). Today I repeat it.

I do not know where I got this idea from, but as I know more about Buddhism, I think it's a way of thinking that can help us get out of our unhappy states and take them to other levels of consciousness that make us see our world and us in a way different.

The book "Open heart, lucid mind" by Thubten Chodron, teaches us the basics of Buddhist teachings: start from the most basic: where is our true happiness ?, attachment, our mind. Then as Buddhism sees all these aspects and the foundations of Buddhist philosophy. Later he teaches us the basics of Buddhism and in the end a little of the life of historical life.

Highly recommended if you want to learn Buddhism.
