A great starting resource on working with Circe and her aspects. Discusses myth origins, relationships, and path working with the goddess Circe.

This was an excellent introduction to Circe, and a nice change from the way she's often portrayed. I remember years (decades) ago when we studied Greek myths in class. Circe, like many women of myth way described as evil, jealous, and vengeful. As much as I've loved studying mythology, that aspect of making powerful women seem evil has always bothered me. But this isn't retelling a story, simply putting it in a new light based on extensive research (you can check out the bibliography at the end if you'd like to do further research on your own). This also contained a great introduction on connecting with and working with her. I appreciated the script you can record to help you get into the right head space, complete with where you should leave pauses. Overall it's perfect for those new to Circe.

I’d give this a four or a four and a half. As per usual with Pagan Portal books, it’s a great jumping off point for learning more about Circe. More than that though, it gave me a lot to think about with regards to the current relationships I have with the deities I follow, ideas on how to better connect, and further our relationships. Lots of good ideas in this for the newbie pagans, even those not interested in Circe. Great author, will definitely pick up another book by her.

I grew up in Italy and Homeric and mythological characters are part of our collective memory, there's even a national park in area named after Circe.
I can understand the fascination, I always admire her but I don't always agree with the author.
There's food for thought and I think it's an interesting book
Recommended.
