Tu Ataneq and Grady Wulfkonig are the last two shifters on the face of this earth who would ever get together. They're complete opposites--him an uptight former sheriff and her a former party girl. Plus, they have history--ugly history that Tu doubts she'll ever be able overcome. She'll never, ever mate with another wolf, she's sure of it. Not after what happened the last time.

But then she and Grady get stuck together in a cabin during a blizzard, and the question becomes, can they ride out these storms--the one outside and the ones raging inside their souls?

This is Grady and Tu's story. Another great read. Grady is deaf and has to sign to be understood. Tu is broken and cannot face the future. This couple's story was sweet and tender. I loved how they came together and made everything work.

All three books were fast paced and on point. I love how this author can draw you in with how she writes her love stories.

I love this!!!! Tu and Grady are so great together! I haven't read a book where one of the main characters was deaf, and Im not sure if theres a lot out there, but it was nice to see that kind of representation. I was hooked on Tu and Grady's relationship right away and was very satisfied with how it all turned out. I need to go read some more of Taylor's books because the ones Ive read so far have been SO GOOD!

I struggled to complete this book as heroine was very hard to like. I felt sympathy for her tragedy but she was a SPOILED BRAT! Need to give hero an award for putting up with her and going back for her. And the twist in the last part, saw that coming from a mile back. Writing style also didn’t wow me as it usually does.

Theodora Taylor is one of my 1-clicks. In case you don't know, by one-click I mean that I don't read the synopsis, check the page to price ratio, or sample before I buy. I simply purchase with one click. This is major trust on my part, I am frugal and snobbish when it comes to books, but 2T earned my devotion several books ago.

With that being said, I woke up in the wee hours of Friday morning and checked my Youtube and facebook- don't judge me, it was 5:20ish and I refuse to get out of bed until I absolutely have to- The very first thing that I saw was a status update from 2T announcing that Wolf and Soul was available on Amazon. From her FB straight to my ipad I clicked; it was downloaded before I jumped into the shower.

I was finished with the book before my eyes drifted closed at my evenings end. Yes, that's right, I read this book in one day. I fought off sleep depravation and an annoyingly snoring husband because I just had to know how the book ended. The characters and story really resonated with me, so much so, that I ended up waking up early on Sunday and re-reading the book a second time.

I have to say, for me, this is the best 2T book that I've read since her Russian Billionaire, in fact this book cracks my top five favorite books by this author.

One of the reasons that I really enjoyed this book was that the characters are more than just shifters, more than just interracial, more than just black letters on a white page. Dare I say they felt real to me? Well, as much as a Bi-racial-Alaskan-wolf-shifter-Princess can be. What I'm commending is the world building; werewolf royalty, meth dealers, dowry's, and deejay's? Oh my! But it all went together so well. The characters were tragically vulnerable, yet strong and protective at the same time. Beautiful. Wonderful, and a gem in my library.

Fav characters:

Tu. Of course I love the she-ro of the story, she is the first Alpha female that I believe 2T has ever written. What I liked about her is that yes she beautiful with a great body and a wealthy family, but she is also strong, intelligent, yet "ruined." I cheered Tu, I jeered her, and I was really happy that she got her happy ending.

Grady. His "Dudley do-right" persona so endearing, which is not always the case since I tend to like them like I like my coffee, dark and brooding. But, in this case his courage, protectiveness, and vulerability really made me fall for him. Well, that and his large muscular body and giant appendage. I also related to him because of how disrespectful people were towards him because of his handicap.

Fav scene:

When Tu sees Grady and pronounces him, "mine" I fell in love with this book.

I'm jus sayin:

One of the biggest complaints that I had with the last 2T book that I read was that it was feeling a little "wash, rinse, repeat," however, this book blew that idea up like it was a giant killer shark (Get it? Remember? You know, Jaws! Really? They blew up the shark in one and three).

With that being said, I have to throw a little shade, reading the ASL grew a tad tiring to me; like reading a dialect. I know that it was intentional, and it wasn't too awful, I still had to say something.

Say What:

I Actually got on itunes and looked up Colid Fairgood's "Alabama Girls.." That's when I realized that he is character from one of her other series! Ha!

Wolf and Soul which is Book 3 of (The Alaskan Princesses Trilogy) is my favorite out the series.

Grady I fell in love with him from Book 1. He is a deaf/mute wolf who wasn't shown any love or kindness. When he left for college he became best friends with Mag and Rafe. Grady is kind, sweet, loyal to a fault but will break you in half without even trying.

Tu she had to grow on me because she was completely out of control and didn't care about anybody but herself until tragedy struck. Now we find Tu no longer the loud and obnoxious little sister. She has become withdrawn, dark and suicidal.

The love of a good man will change a woman completely but sometimes not without a fight. In this story Grady and Tu saved each other, opposites who seem so wrong but were so right for each other.

This is an amazing story of love, triumph and redemption. It is a fantastic read that will having you rooting from the very beginning for these two till the end.

This was one of my favorite Theodora Taylor books, but they're all pretty great. This is my home state and I loved rebellious Tu and the sweet Beta king Grady. This was just the sweetest love story. 5 big sugary stars!

Got my wolf fix!

Tu & Grady!! I stumbled into this read because I wanted a wolf story... And per my daughter who is Ms. Taylor's #1 fan I was pointed in the Alaska Princesses direction. I started with Grady due to his deafness, I wanted to see how Theodora would weave this journey. I was not disappointed! Wow!! I really want a tree with all these characters but what I love is you can enjoy each book on it's own or in a group in order or out of order! 😊

I loved this story for the simple fact that the hero and heroine were different (not referring to ethnicity). It's so good to read romance books that include people with problems others choose not to talk about, but deep down we know exist, perhaps choosing to believe it only affects other people because the problems don't exist within our circle of family and friends.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on Tu book. She's too funny, and I knew I was going to enjoy reading about her even more. Although in Alisha's book she goes from being her fun, crazy loving self to this sad creature, who wanted to be alone. And I needed to know what could cause her to change so drastically like this. And if she'll ever regain the woman she once were.

The drama and fights between her and her mate Grady are shocking, but touching. Who new Grady actually didn't like her very much, and wanted nothing to do with her... Or at least that's how he wants her and everyone to believe.

I have to say that my dislikes of Tu, Janelle, and Alisha parents have grown even more since reading Alisha's book and now Tu. How can they tell their daughter that she's ruined and used up goods!?! That's your daughter, the child you both have made, that's freaking horrible, she's not a piece of fruit you found in the market! And to make matter worse in order to hide the fat that their daughter is "ruined" they lock her up in a room and tell her that she can get an abortion. That's so messed up who does that kind of thing and say that they love them!?! They cannot actually believe that this is love when it's the opposite. But being the Tu that I love and enjoy she tells them no, but end up losing the baby regardless. Which you find this out in the previous book when they mention it to her. The way her parents treat her, esp her mother is horrible and they don't deserve her.

But between them and Grady younger half brother Lucas , I'm in a debate of who do I dislike more. The parents or the brother..... the parents... brother..... hmmm.

I really love the cliffy for Tiara book at the end it makes me wonder about the time line. I wonder why it moves differently from the present time line. What I mean by this is that when Alisha left the viking age, her triplets were still little boys, while the younger boy that was the kings son, FJ was a sixteen. It's only been a couple of years (2- 4 years) at most and now he's thirty-five and the triplets are still little kids. I wonder why it moves faster than present time.

I absolutely love Grady and how he stands up for Tu to her parents, letting them know that the treatment that they have done to his mate will not be tolerated. And while I'm reading this I shouting "Preach! You Tell them Grady."

This book is the 4th in the series and centres around Tu and Grady's story and I'm happy to say that it doesn't contain any form of revenge or what we in Britain would consider domestic abuse..... as we've seen from Janelle and Alisha's stories.

When we meet Tu in this book, she is very much a shadow of her former self. She has no confidence, no 'get up and go', no purpose in life apart from working as a nanny for Alisha's pups and no social life....... she even sits at the childrens' table at family gatherings away from the adults. Tu has gone from being her mother's favourite child to a 'ruined' she-wolf but in Grady's eyes, she's the most perfect thing on the planet. So much so that he follows hers up to Rafe's summer cabin despite a storm blowing in and arrives to find Tu in a desperate situation.

Several days later after Tu unexpectedly goes into heat, they find themselves mated, married and moved into the Oklahoma kingdom spartan house. We learn more about Grady's feelings of being 'defective' and why Tu believes she's 'ruined'. Unlike the other books in the series, we can clearly see how Tu and Grady compliment each other and how they are very much an equal partnership that I didn't feel was obvious with Alisha and Janelle.

Despite all the editing issues which really let the books down and spoil the enjoyment of the books, this has been my favourite book so far. I think maybe because Grady didn't have a controlling element despite him being cast as the moody and broody house mate/beta in the previous books. It was actually a delight in getting to know the real Grady and why Rafe and Mag were and are so loyal to him. Tu's parents didn't come out looking all that great and I found them to be quite disappointing in this book but Grady certainly put them in their place as far as their future relationship with Tu was concerned.

I'm also not sure about the epilogues in this serious as they have been more like prologues for the next book in the series but I have enjoyed the different slant on the werewolf genre.

Absolutely One Awesome story

Wow I absolutely really enjoyed this story! The characters are captivating and their relationship is so entertaining. burns up the pages with their chemistry. Tu is a feisty and funny she wolf who is independent. Grady is amazing werewolf who will make you smile and together they give you good laugh. What I enjoyed most about this couple is their chemistry. This story has lots of emotions which will have you turning pages until the end plus the story gives you extraordinary pleasurable experience. Every chapter will put a smile on your face and in your heart! I even enjoyed the secondary characters. What a awesome series! These stories are so entertaining that they make great reading. This couple are fated mates which is awesome along with their passion which is call forever. This is a unique series I promise it will be enjoyable and pleasurable experience to read them all !!! I'm so excited to read the next book.

Overcoming Life!

Tu and Grady led very different lives that brought their paths to cross. They hailed from each end of the social spectrum. Seemingly that shouldn’t have happened, but love has its ways. Grady and Tu carried life’s burdens that can destroy you if not dealt with . There were sad moments that are balanced with laughter in others. Tu shows that she had traits of both of her parents. It showed through in how the author demonstrated Tu’s character of wheeling and dealing for her mate. Grady’s strengths were his loyalty and ability to work through problems, and overcoming his background. I truly enjoyed this series. Of course this is Theodora Taylor, you wouldn’t expect anything less.

There really isn't much for me to say regarding the plot in this one because, compared to the other books in the series, there really wasn't much of a plot there. What conflict was presented in the story was over and dealt with so quickly that I found myself sighing. I get wanting your main characters to be strong, powerful, and to eventually overcome, but what is it about authors making their characters so infallible that the first signs of conflict and villainy are, often, squashed before it can even begin? Conflict makes things interesting! Let.the villainy fly! Aside from that, Grady and Tu are my least favorite pairing so far. For me, they weren't as interesting and didn't have the same flare as the characters before them. However, still solid compared to other authors within the same genre (more or less) that I've read so I say choose this one over starting a new series that is questionable at best! This one is better! I promise!

that ending

Tu Ataneq is a former party girl waiting for the end, Grady Wulfkonig just wants to get his mange state in order. Somehow they’re able to help each other.

I enjoyed this one honestly because of the overall story. Tu’s transformation throughout the series is one to watch, and I like how it played out in this book. I thought the reveal would be worse, but I appreciated that it wasn’t too traumatizing.

That being said, it’s technically a Second Chance Romance, so if you like that in your paranormal romance then this one is for you.

Last book for me, 4th in the series

I am actually reading this series and following series out of order. I came across the first book of the next series in this family which I really enjoyed. I’m excited to go fill in the blanks of the rest of the series about this family. This particular book I enjoyed because the two main characters both had a real “human” issues that they had to overcome - low self esteem, disability, family and self addiction and depression. Next up the dragon series.

3 of the sisters' books done and I must say, this might be my fav. I say might because Prejudice was so good!! Punishment... just naur. The trials and tribulations Tu and Grady had to go through to finally end up together- whew! 😥 It would have been nice if Tu ended up with more babies, I think she deserved it out of all the girls BUT I understand why Taylor didn't write it out so.

After a bit of a sabbatical, I have been binge-reading Taylor's books and I can't get enough!! Continuing the next book rn!!

Unexpected love

Tru and Grady are an unlikely couple who find love later in wolf life. I must admit I didn’t like this book as much as the previous books in the series. However this was my favorite couple, I just feel like there were moments that had potential to make this story better but they were missed. The support they gave each other was most enjoyable and made the story heartwarming. I would recommend.

Emotional care

I just enjoyed Grady and Tu. I loved the emotional support they gave each other. It helped them to get through the baggage to make them stronger. Except each other for who they are. I love the surprise mystery and twist. They had passionate, spicy, extremely hot and sweaty lovemaking sessions.🌡️🌶️🌶️🔥🔥🌡️. Kept me fanning myself it had me so hot and bothered 😅. Looking forward to the next book.

Sooo good!

Absolutely loved Tu and Grady's story! Tu was so outrageous in the previous books, but was dramatically different in the beginning of this one. Grady, with his sweet self, was determined to get her back to her colorful, bubbly self. I really enjoyed reading about their journey to happiness. Don't miss this one!

Certainly better than the last book, but still far too much Rafe. It cannot be exaggerated how much I hate him. I'm honestly glad this particular trilogy in the overall series is over, because I have had my fill of werewolves.

Tu and Grady complimented each other well and, of the three books, had the best story arc.

Binge reading is best.

I am starting book 5 of this series and can't wait to see how it ends. The each of the first 4 kept me on edge and u look forward to the 5th book. The characters are not duplicated in each book. Each book gives you a new group of issues with some if the same people appearing in each one. Oh, got to read the next book.

Wolf and Soul

I swear Tu's parents are two of the most manipulative wolves in this series. Pretending Tu's first mate was dead almost cost her her life. I'm glad Tu actually mated her real mate. If not for her parents and their beliefs, Tu and Grady would have actually mates earlier and would not have gone through so much heartache and torture.

My favorite out of the entire series Tu and Grady are just my faves. They literally have the most unconventional love story but it works! The two loved each other from their first meeting but obviously went through many troubles to realize this. I also just love how Grady stood up for Tu just perfect cause she needed it.

The Alaska Princesses trilogy finally comes to the third sister. The best thing about this series is an insight into what is possibly something like the realize experiences of a princess. The true emotional upheaval and discomfort of being raised royal. How it might be to know that your life partner may be determined for you by politics. All of these sisters eventually experience their own form of rebellion against the system. Unfortunately for the youngest sister, a drug and alcohol infused lifestyle led to an unfortunate chain of events that spiraled her into deep depression. This is the story of her way back. Like most of TT's books it contains laughter moments and crying moments. Well written and thoughtful.

Tu and Grady are my favorite "Wolf And..." Couple!

Ive always loved ASL and I love how Theo incorporated a deaf character into her stories. American Sign Language is awesome and I love how Tu is not deaf or hearing impaired but knows how and learns more to talk to Grady.

READ IT!
