Waste of time...generic advice

The book is all over the place, lacks any structure whatsoever and has very generic material. The topics covered are also very shallow and don't have any actionable advice. I wouldn't recommend this book

Not for Indian environment

This book is nicely curated but is not useful for Indian environment but maybe for schools in western society. Still has some good points but again nothing new for me.

Great stuff, needs one last grammar check

Good stuff just like I try to teach students. Author uses their, there, and they're wrong at least 4 times.

This book had some really useful tips. My favourite part was:
Confidence in test taking can be broken down into 3 simple factors:
The first factor is your preparation...
The second factor is your self-talk...
The third factor is the perspective you have...

Aaron Richardson gave some really valuable advice, including dealing with stress, efficiency in studying and experimenting to find your own study style. However, there were also a lot of 'tips' which were just common sense, such as 'don't multitask while studying' or 'don't leave studying to the night before the test'.

It would have been better to read 50 valuable study secrets rather than 100 some-good-some-obvious study secrets because I've forgotten some of the better tips since they are mixed in with many common-sense ones. There were also spelling and grammar errors everywhere which were distracting to read.

Despite this, I learned a few worthwhile things from this manual, and it's definitely a good resource for students if they apply it in their own study routines.
