I've been using this book for a while now and will continue using it. The author did a fantastic job at keeping it simple, yet covering everything authors need to be successful entrepreneurs. I'm still working on a lot of things, especially my online presence, and I will pick this book up whenever I need to focus on the most important thing, my readers and social media followers. I absolutely recommend it.
I gave this gem 5 stars because this tool is something you can pick up over and over again. The information is timeless and relevant. New authors are starting this literary journey constantly and this is one resource they should have in their arsenal. I'm not an author, but I have to tell you after reading The Literary Entrepreneur's Toolkit I feel like I could write a book because the information shared feels complete.
The author grew up with a dad who was a contractor, and in all that she does, you can see dad left her with some really good seeds; organization, step by step guidance and a teaching heart. Let's talk a little bit about how the book is set up. The chapters are organized in 2 parts; "Where do I Start Building my Online Presence" and part 2 "How do I Build and Manage my Online Presence" then separated by chapters and sub-chapters. On Youtube the author has several companion videos under the same title as this book.
As a reader I have found value in this book in helping me build an online presence for my book club and how to navigate Twitter and understanding (#) hashtags and what their purpose is.
If you didn't get it from my review this book is NOT just for authors but non-authors also, because the words are inspiring and the book might draw literary inspiration from you. Great job Tyora
The Literary Entrepreneur's Toolkit–Building and Managing an Online Presence for Authors is a resource I'll be consulting regularly.
This book is a must read for anyone who wants to build and maintain an online presence. It covers important subjects such as branding, finding readers, and building a community, plus it explains the various social networks, how they differ, tips for using each platform and how writers can use them to their advantage. There are links to 'follow worthy' individuals/influencers for each network, also links to resources such as web hosting, trailer making, audio platforms, file storage, video editing and a host of other cool tools.
I've been using The Literary Entrepreneur's Toolkit as a kind of refresher course on must-dos and don'ts, and gathering ideas for my own marketing and promotion. I'm glad I purchased this book and would recommend it for every writer who is struggling with establishing their presence online.

This book was provided by the author for review purposes only.
While informative, this book won't tell you much if you already have a basic understanding of social media and how it works. It would be a great book for complete beginners if there weren't so many typos in the ebook so as to drive any grammar-conscious person mad. I really wish someone had taken the extra time and budget to have the ebook edited properly.
