I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. This book makes me want to read all of the Devil's MC books. I picked this one up because it is book one of this branch of the Devil's MC but now I want to know about all of them. Rosemary is missing. Rosemary's friend, Jade, knows that there is something wrong but doesn't feel like anyone is listening to her. Kevlar is listening. He and Rosemary spent one memorable night together. He wasn't willing to face his feelings that night and gave Rosemary the boot. He is ready to have another go at her and she is nowhere to be found.
Kevlar is the Sergeant at Arms for this new charter of the Devil's MC. What they don't find out until Rosemary's father and brother shows up is that Rosemary has been taken and put into the a fighting club. It's time for the Kevlar to go get his woman. The things Rosemary had to do will take a while to get out of her system. One thing that never left is her need for Kevlar. This man made her feel things she never felt and to finally see him after that night is bringing back memories.
The twists and turns in this book will give readers whiplash. Readers will also fall in love with all of the guys that put their lives on line for Rosemary. Kevlar will have readers melting. I was trying to not jump in the MC series books because I knew I would be hooked and want to devour them all and I was right. This book captured me and I have know more about these guys.

I really struggled to finish this book. While the blurb sounded really good, the book didn’t live up to what I expected. Kevlar had me rolling my eyes a lot. Rosie & Kevlar spent one night together & he kicked her out immediately the next day, when she tried approaching him again he was rude to her & kicked her out. They don’t see each other for awhile, even though her bestie is w/the clubs prez, then she’s kidnapped for months & no one can find out anything. By then Rosie’s dad (who’s pres of another mc) & brother find out & comes to town to find out what’s going on. It takes one night for them to locate & rescue Rosie. Kevlar decides she’s his woman & claims her, even tells her they never stopped looking for her!
I just couldn’t with this book. And it ended so abruptly.

E.C. Land introduces a new club with Fighting Rosemary. This is a new charter of the Devil’s Riot MC, this is the Mississippi charter and as this club is made up of members from the other charters there are plenty of characters we already know. Primarily Viper and Cyprus (the Prez and VP of this charter) and their ol’ ladies.
We also know the main characters of this book. Kevlar (the Sargent of arms for the new charter) and who it to become his ol’ lady Rosemary. She is Jade’s (Viper’s ol’ lady) best friend.
I don’t remember a lot of Kevlar in the earlier books, he also was a prospect back then and had the name Fist which changed in Viper’s book. So, I can’t say I had much of a vibe about him from then but I did like him quite a lot in his book. He wasn’t sure that he would claim Rosemary but even if his head hadn’t decided it seems his heart did. He was really great with Rosemary also after what she went through.
Rosemary is very tough and thank goodness she is because she is forced into an awful situation that she literally has to fight her way out of. Everything she goes through is designed to break her and while she fights to stay strong and survive there is no way that what she has to do is doing harm to her soul.
While I really enjoy these MC stories that E.C. Land writes I get frustrated with them too. They are fast paced, insta-love, plenty of drama and suspense, with some danger, and steam. A lot of the time the bad guy is interconnected across multiple charges and sometimes even clubs. It gets a little hard to keep track of what happened when and to who. Despite that, I get drawn in every time and want to read the next one.

Kevlar, like the other members of the club having been trying to find Rosemary. As Jade’s best friend Viper is determined to track her down for his ol’ lady. It’s been months though and no leads have them lost. When Jade tells them that her brother and father are about to arrive and that they are form an MC also it has the club worried. Big, her father and Cobra, her brother have a lead and they plan to get her back together.
Rosemary is sure she is seeing things when she spots Kevlar and it only seems to crush her further, but it’s not a dream and she is finally safe back with the club and even her father and brother. It’s Kevlar though who seems most protective.
“I’ll make things right, baby, swear it. Those fuckers will pay for what they did to you. All of them. I’ll burn them all.”
Kevlar’s made his decision and Rosemary is going to be his. He will take it slow and help her recover from everything she’s been through, but he won’t lose her again. He knows what he wants, and she is it.
‘I’ll beat back the demons for Rosemary, prove to her that the hells she’s endured can be overcome, and I’m it for her as she’s it for me. It can’t be any other way. I won’t let it.’
But Rosemary has a secret that only Jade knows about. She’s not the only one though and her captives plan to use that secret against her. The club isn’t going to let her sacrifice herself though and are determined things will go differently then things have for the women of the club in the past.

Fighting Rosemary is the first book in the DRMC - Mississippi Charter by E.C. Land. Many familiar characters from Devil's Riot as well as Reckless Souls MC are featured in this story. This is a fast paced raw storyline, the characters are dynamic, bold and intense with plenty of action, suspense and steamy moments. Kevlar and Rosemary's journey will pull you in from beginning to end with all of the twists and turns and agonizing moments between them. Rosemary and Kevlar had a one night stand with no expectations of having a relationship, but Kevlar can't stop thinking of her even though he ghosted her. When Viper's ol'lady informs the club that Rosemary has been missing for months, she informs the club that Cobra and Big from the Reckless Souls MC will be coming to the club to find his daughter. When Kevlar hears she is missing he is told of the plan both Presidents have put into place to rescue Rosemary, Kevlar is determined to help and much to his surprise informs everyone that he is claiming her including her father Cobra and brother Big.

Great start for the Mississipi Chapter!
Fighting Rosemary is the first installment in the i Mississipi Chapter of the Devil's Riot MC, Kevlar and Rosemary' story.
This new Chapter is composed of several members of other Devil's Riot Chapters and, as so, some of the secondary characters in this account already saw their stories told in other Series. E.C. Land is a new to me author and this is my very first read, but certainly won't be my last! This tale opened my spirits and I'll do my dilligences and go back to read about all those mentioned and not.
Fighting Rosemary portrays exactly what MCs are made of: a brotherhood built on trust, loyalty and protection of the brothers and their significant others. A family in all its essence, for most of them, not by blood but by recognition and respect.
I liked a lot of things about this first book: the hierarchy, consideration and regard, the thoughts and concocted strategies, the morally gray and hearts of gold. A true atmosphere for MC romance. I loved the guys, their support, their alpha attitude regarding their territory and their readiness to solve the matters at hand.
Kevlar and Rosemary had history and, imo, the feelings were a bit abrupt when they noticed her absence and started planing the rescue. I would have seriously enjoyed some kind of prologue about their initial entanglement and ultimate result, just to get me going into their present story.
The plot flowed fast and furious, a bit too much, and everytime some kind of high was starting to build, it ended too sudden.
And when all was said, the plan in motion, the demands in place as well as the yieldings and the utmost battle set, it happenned in four or five sentences. I need the rush and adrenaline, the peak and its explosion, a victory under duress and I didn't see it. It was just told. And that is the reason I took 1 star out of my rating of the book.
It felt to me that some parts of this narrative needed a bit more development and 70 or 80 oages more would've done it superb!
Nevertheless, a very enjoyable read!

Fighting Rosemary was an exciting start to the Devil's Riot MC: Mississippi Chapter by E.C. Land. It's a second chance romance rollercoaster ride. It had me rooting for the heroine and feeling for everything she went through.
Kevlar was transferred to the new chapter in Mississippi to be the SAA. While guys from all the chapters moved there to get everything set up, they were still looking for Jade's best friend, Rosemary. Kevlar messed up big with Rosemary and hasn't had a chance to make it up to her since she disappeared without a trace. Rosemary has trained to be a boxer her whole life and loves teaching it instead of getting in the ring herself until she is taken and forced to. Every time she's forced into the ring she loses a piece of herself and soon she's afraid there won't be anything left of her. Rosemary has alot of secrets and the only way to help find her and get her back is for Jade to tell them. Once they come out and her family shows up they finally have something to go on and a way to find her. But can they get her back in time?
I gave this a 5-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. Rosemary is a remarkable woman to have gone through all she has in life with the cards stacked against her she didn't stand a chance to avoid the inevitable. Kevlar showed he can actually be a man and own up to his mistakes and fight for what he wants and boy does he. The way the whole club came together as one to rally around Kevlar and Rosemary shows this chapter does have a chance. Aries book is next and from the bonus scene, more trouble is headed their way!

Fighting for survival, for a future and for love
Fighting Rosemary is the first book in the new Devil's Riot MC Mississippi series, a spin-off of the other DRMC series. This is a solid beginning to the new club series and the various characters. Be warned that there are a number of characters from other DRMC chapters that are in this book, some who have already had their books written. The story centers around Rosemary and Kevlar. This story does have darker and somewhat unsettling details in the story-line. Rosemary is kidnapped outside the gym where she helps teach and trains boxers. She has been missing for several months before someone really takes notice that she is gone, which to me did not make a lot of sense but I went with the premise. She was taken by a man who holds underground fights that are death matches. She is put into the cage and must do everything she can to survive. But there are those that will fight to rescue her once they figure things out. Kevlar is one of those men as he still cannot get her off his mind after one night together. When they finally get her back what will happen as she heals and has to try and work through all the trauma and abuse she went through. Kevlar will be there by her side, ensuring she gets what she needs, even if she does not want him at the moment. But he has claimed her as his and he is not backing down on this, even if he has to fight Rosemary to get their future.

This was a great start to a new series! If you have followed this author, You met rosemary as a side character in a previous series. She was sassy and outspoken and fun in that book and it was shocking when she went missing. This book is the opener to a new charter for the Devil's riot and picks up after Rosemary has already been taken. It was sad to see how Rosemary is so lost in her trauma and the events of it that she is not herself for a long time. It doesn't help that Kevlar has come to his own conclusions about their relationship and is confusing her already fragile state. This book has a big and angst y plot line that really shows how a MC comes together for one of their own, and that doesn't just mean the members of the club.
Its both sad and freeing to watch rosemary rediscover her life and her passion through the tough support of her found family and her blood family. Many supposed secrets are revealed and the book does offer some resolution to a problem the club is dealing with while leaving some things open to continue the plot through the next book in the series.

Thrilling, Suspenseful MC Read!
Loved this start to a new Devil’s Riot Chapter. Ms. Land has given us MC romance readers a fast paced, suspenseful, action packed romance that is well written with wonderful characters. My one complaint was the ending felt a little rushed compared to the rest of the book. However, it Did Not take away from the storyline or excitement for the book, (therefore I’d actually say 4.5 stars but since I can’t post the ½ I gave it 5 stars). Also note due a couple areas of the book, there may be triggers for some. As for this reader I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I loved the protective nature of the club as well as Kevlar, when it came to Rosemary. He was not going to let anything or anyone stand in his way of protecting and claiming what was his. Not her enemies, her family or ever Rosemary herself with her stubborn nature.
I highly recommend grabbing it up and getting in from the start of the new Chapter of the Devil’s Riot MC.

Not her enemies, her family or ever Rosemary herself with her stubborn nature.
I highly recommend grabbing it up and getting in from the start of the new Chapter of the Devil’s Riot MC.

Another hit out of the park for Ms. Land. The characters are so intense and so likable, you can’t not keep reading about them.
Kevlar and Rosemary had a night together and then Kevlar made a butt out of himself and sent her away. He is trying to run from his feelings for her, but they soon catch up with him when she is taken.
Rosie has been taken and is basically physiologically abused and is forced to fight in the death fights, to protect her son and the people she cares about.
When her father and brother come to town and has info about where she is and what is happening, the club and her family rescue her and Kevlar gets his out in to fresh air and claims her.
The trouble is still in the background, but Rosie is the one that everyone is trying to help. She is traumatized and physiologically checked out. Kevlar and the club work on her and then Kevlar tells her she is his and that she just needs to get use to it.
Eventually they both admit their feelings and Kevlar takes out the threat and they have a good life together.

Veronica Harder and DB West are perfectly cast for this story. Harder is strong and determined as Rosemary. She is a tough character, truly broken, and her voice brings out her emotions. West is the alpha male in Kevlar, ready to attack and protect. His voice is gravely and perfect for this role. This is an enjoyable listen and fun escape.

Rosemary worked at a gym and taught boxing to kids and helped coach men to be better boxers, even sparring with them...after closing one night, she was abducted and imprisoned by a man using her in a fight to death club...where she has been held for months. Her friend Jade was telling Viper, the President of Missisippi branch of Devils Riot MC that her father and brother coming to find her...Kevlar overheard all of this...but didn't realize how long she hadn't been heard from as they had one-night stand with no intent on any type of further contact...now he's worried, and once her relatives get there, the former Prez and current Prez of MC well-known as contract killers and hears their plan, he's all in...but will she be safe once they get her back or are the people who took her wanting her back??? This is a great start to the new charter of the DRMC. If you read the Originals series, you will know that Stoney and the other Prez’s’ of the club have decided to have a new charter in MS and the Viper is to be Prez and Cyprus the new VP. There will also be other members from the other charters going to MS, so you will see familiar faces. Kevlar is the new SAA and got his name for what happened between him and Rosie months ago. Kevlar has a lot of work to do to help Rosie overcome what has happened to her the months she was gone. This is action packed, fast paced, suspenseful, and there is some drama, angst, secrets, revelations and twisty turns that I wasn’t expecting. Get sucked into a new charter that is going to be darker than the other charter. I can’t wait to see where E.C. takes these guys and the women who are strong willed, feisty and fighters.

This is the first in a new series, and this is Kevlar and Rosemary’s journey.
Kevlar is the SAA for his MC, and he never thought he would want to settle with one women, until he met Rosemary. Rosemary is feisty and stubborn, and trained to be a boxer, and my heart broke for her after all she endured in life. Kevlar proves that he can man up and take ownerships of his mistakes and will fight for what he wants.
This is a well written action packed, emotionally charged story, with danger, suspense, intrigue, family, friendships, secrets, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, unpredictable, twisted, and a steamy page turner, which had me on tenterhooks throughout.

I love reading this author. The MC stories are not for the faint of heart, the dept and pain the characters go through has you taking a moment to stop and think.

Kevlar and Rosemary had a night, but to him she was getting too close, and he did not want to admit the truth. Instead, he became a douche and pushed her away. Now that they found her, he will do anything to protect her.
Definitely a story that has a number of twist and turns that keeps you on the edge and has your mind spinning.

I love a good motorcycle club read, crime lords & gangs and fighting rings—this combines them all into one quick, twisted read.

Fun! Based on this first experience with this author, I’d read more by them, and read on into this series.

His parts had excellent, clear sound quality, his voice was great and he acted well. Excellent - 5 stars. Her parts … so she acts well too, and her voice is great. A few of her parts had a ‘tinny’ sound to them, where his were perfectly clear. 4 stars overall.

Fighting Rosemary is a wonderful start to this new chapter. What Rosemary was forced to go through and do, you felt down to your soul. You understood how a pieces of her soul broke each time. Kevlar was wonderful in handling her, but I wish some of the club brothers treated her softer after Kevlar made his decision. I know it’s hard for men to understand a women’s mind but I wish they would have given her a little but if softness for all she’s endured. Overall, I’m excited to go on this ride with this new chapter.

A good introduction into the newest chapter in the MC everyone loves to love 🥰
I liked how there were familiar faces (Viper etc) who came into here, made the series much more familiar and a nice continuation of the authors work.
An intricate story that crosses over into other MC’s (the author doesn’t say whose it is but I don’t think it’s hers so borrowed characters?) which sounded intruiging.
Lots of steam, lots of danger and darkness at times make this an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to seeing where this new MC series goes.

The story to this series was amazing and totally kept me hooked with the suspense. I love the way the author showed Rosemary's tough side to survive the fights she needed to do but also have that hidden vulnerability that just drew me into her pain. The way Kelvar understood that what he did to push Rosemary away was something that he regretted and by making it up, he is determined to find her and keep her safe no matter what the cost is. This was definitely a read that I plowed through because the characters and action was just too good to put down.

When Rosemary who teaches fighting at a gym get kidnapped and must participate in a fight to the death for fifteen fights before she can gain her freedom. When Kevlar finds out she is missing he is upset because he had her in his bed one time and turned her away but he knew he felt more for her than anyone else so he and his MC brothers along with her father and brother find out where she is fighting and rescues her. There are other twists in this story that brings danger and suspense that will keep you reading.

What a way to start a new charter of the Devils Riot MC in Mississippi!! Men from various charters all come together to form a new brotherhood and they are put to the test right away when the Prez’s wife’s best friend is kidnapped and has to do the unthinkable time and time again.
Kevlar had Rosemary for a night before she was taken and he knows in his heart that he has to get her back. Will he be able to deal with the aftermath that Rosemary has to go through after being rescued?
This was a great start to the Mississippi charter and I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series.

This was a great start to a new chapter of the Devil’s Riot MC. Rosemary is held captive to be a fighter to the death in some cage fights. She does all she can to survive but it is becoming extremely difficult. When Kevlar finds out Rosemary is missing he sets out to find her. When Kevlar and the MC get Rosemary back they do all they can to help her overcome the ordeal she has been through but when her safety is threatened once more they MC all decide to take the remaining fights for Rosemary to free her from her obligations. This is a great read that you get caught up in and are living the story with the characters. Book 15 in the series and still going strong.

Although Book 1 of this series, it has ties to DRMC Originals (Vipers Touch #12 and Cyprus' Truth #13) and not necessary to follow the plot but it is helpful. Rosemary is the BFF to Vipers ol' lady, Jade, and she has gone missing. Rosemary and Kevlar had hooked up a couple of times but nothing serious came of it. When Rosemary's father and brother (members of another MC) turn up looking for her, the MC gets serious about finding her. Kevlar admits his interest in her and after she is rescued, this heat up. This is a fast paced, ultra steamy MC romance. Looking to seeing more in this series.

A new MC story starts with an interesting story. Kevlar and Risemary had a one nighter, aftervwhich he behaved badly, but hasn't forgotten her and regrets telling her to leave. She is trained as a boxer and has been missing for a few weeks, with no one being able to find a trace. Then her father and brother turn up..from another chapter and they know her whereabouts.
Interesting turn of events..danger, drama, anxieties, complicated relationships and several secrets, demons to fight, demons to slay, people to protect is a lot to handle.

This book did not disappoint and neither did Rosemary, she kicked some serious but.
When Rosemary goes missing no one knows where she could have gone its like she dropped of the face of the earth. Until her dad and brother let her best friend Jade know they are heading to town to help them find Rosie.
This book was a great switch up from the helpless captive, Rosie knows how to hold her own but when that expertise is used for someone else's sick pleasure its a fight to the death.
The way the club rallies around Rosemary gives her aswell as Kevlar the strength to put things right and deliver a smack down.
A great read and an even better introduction to the Mississippi Chapter.

The MC has just relocated to Mississippi and still have no leads on what happened to Rosemary. Kevlar and her had an one night stand and he kicked her out in the morning. Kevlar knew he messed up with her, and wants to make things right. When her father and brother show up with their club, Reckless Souls, they have information on where she will be.

Rosemary was forced into something in order to protect anther person and it's slow breaking her down. Kevlar was gentle with her during her healing process. When he and the club make a decision, his brothers step in giving Rosie some tough love. Thought their story I couldn't turn the pages fast enough as it full of secrets, truths that come to light, steam, drama, action, love, loyalty and family. This is a great addition to this series and a great start to a new chapter of the club. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book.
