Finding Love Again In Music City
Badly beaten and disoriented, Rachel Kennedy finds herself in a hospital bed, forced to admit she was trapped in an abusive relationship with her college boyfriend, Grant. Rachel, a new student at a local college in Memphis, has found a wonderful friend to start her new adventure. Alexia and Rachel immediately bond and spend a lot of time together. They both start dating boys at their school, so their time together is a little bit harder to plan. Nevertheless, they stay strong in their bond as friends. Alexia starts dating a boy on the basketball team. A fellow basketball player, they’re able to find a lot of commonality in their activities. Rachel begins dating a boy, Grant, who’s in one of her classes. He’s so handsome and he catches Rachel’s attention. Soon, Grant and Rachel are inseparable. Alexia and Rachel’s time spent together becomes less and less. Grant is so dreamy and romantic, Rachel can truly see a future with him! One day, Rachel sees a friend from another class, while Grant and her are out on a walk. She stops to talk with him and Grant becomes very jealous. Rachel is taken aback, but doesn’t think much else of it. That is, until it happens again and his words and actions become harsher. Alexia becomes worried and Rachel pushes her away. One night, Rachel nearly loses her life at the hands of Grant.
Freshly out of the hospital and traumatized by the events of the past few months, Rachel is offered a blessed fresh start in Nashville. The company she works at, a CPA firm, is opening a branch in Nashville, and they want her to lead it. Rachel knows that this is a blessing from God, to get away from Grant, and start fresh. She finds a new apartment, a new routine, and soon, a new man. Hayden, a young man who lives in her building, introduces himself at the gym one morning. They become good friends and soon start to date. Things are going really well and Rachel is wondering if this could be another chance at love for her. Then, her nightmarish past comes crashing back in. Rachel can’t believe it’s happening again! Hayden protects her, but Grant is back. Now, he’s landed himself in jail and he won’t be able to come after her. It’s such a terrible feeling to feel like you have to constantly look over your shoulder.
A year later, Grant begins talking to her family and profusely apologizing for what he’s done. He’s turned his life over to God and he’s trying to make amends. He wants to prove to Rachel that he can be the man of her dreams. He still loves her. Can people really change? Rachel doesn’t know what to do. She wants to forgive Grant, but Hayden is such a wonderful, respectful man that she can fully trust. Who will she spend the rest of her life with?
A beautiful story of forgiveness, amidst some really difficult life situations. I love the way that Jordan Noel crafted a closed door romance that really shows true love between the characters.

Finding love again in Music City was a great read! It will keep readers guessing throughout the entire book & has the sweetest ending! Truly a clean & amazing novel which there are few of these days!

So I’m not normally someone who enjoys third person POV but I swear this book may have changed my mind, I felt like I was able to read so much faster😂 This was such an emotional read. Watching Rachel navigate life through and after an abusive relationship brought on so emotions. The way she clung to her faith was so admirable and so nice to see in a book. Her strength and faith kept her pushing through and then she met Hayden🥹 A true man of God, loving, patient and everything she could ever want. I loved watching all of this unfold so much, I had no clue where the end would go!!

This was a raw, real book, Jordan did such a great job at writing something that affects many. A story of redemption and forgiveness but also putting your self first and making decisions best for you. Jordan wrote this book with her faith and it shows, it’s so nice to see this represented in books💕 I loved this book so much and am looking forward to reading more from her! Thank you Rachel for the gifted copy, you are the sweetest! 💕

I first want to start by thanking Jordan for gifting me a signed copy of this book! ❤️
While I liked certain aspects of this book I also didn’t like certain things 😂
Sometimes Rachel made me so mad that she was even CONSIDERING getting back with Grant after everything he did/said.
Anyways I am happy with how it ended so we are all good 😂
