SPEECHLESS!!!! WOWW!!! WHAT A GREAT BOOK 😍😍 I haven’t been reading a great book for a while now and this book literally blows my mind. It is so great! Omg how i can even explain this in the most beautiful way lol. THE HEROINE IS A SINGER WHO KNOWS HOW TO PLAY HER GUITAR WHICH IS TALENTED ON MUSIC AND ALSO SHE’S A FREAKIN MECHANIC!!!!!! YES A MECHANIC!!!!! 😭(literally real emotion tears emoji there cause it’s very rare these days to have a unique heroine character like this one, RARE!!!!!) AND THE HERO… THE HERO IS A FREAKIN BILLIONAIRE AND ALSO KNOWS HOW TO PLAY MUSIC BUT NOT A MUSICIAN LIKE THE HEROINE… BUT A BILLIONAIRE 😍😍😍
This book is really romantic like a love story should be. And it’s very much what i like in a book (you have no idea) 😭🥺 Very romantic, funny, emotional, heart pounding, brilliant, captivating and dynamic ❤️❤️
The characters is so very interesting and very amusing!!!
YOU WILL SEE a big family here from the hero and heroine side of the family… And also the heroine’s friendship with her friends in her small town is very beautiful 😭😭😭 It’s also well explained like I’m in the story or watching a movie 😭 And you will see them quite a lot so prepare to see a big family and great friendship 🥺
But most importantly, the main characters… The couple. LIKE OH MY GOODNESS 😍😍😍 EVEN HOW THEY MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME IT’S VERY ROMANTIC AND SO UNIQUE 😭😭😭 It’s been a LONG time that I haven’t seen a great first meet like this couple right here guys so IT’S WAS QUITE OVERWHELMINGLY ROMANTIC 🥺🥺🥺

I also loved that this story is almost the same like mine. Like living in a small town, have a huge family that I’m very close to and always meet up and how much the heroine’s character is similar to mine. The emotions are definitely there when I read this book 🥺🙏🏼 I love reading this book from the beginning till the end… I CAN’T WAIT FOR MORE ❤️❤️
The story starts with the hero is in a small town to meet up a female musician that his brother and sister in law told him to go ask for work. So it’s business for him… When he arrives in the small town, suddenly his car got turn off and he stopped on the other side of the road. Frustrated, he got out and IMMEDIATELY a woman in a truck behind him got out and asked him if he need a hand… And yes, she is the heroine and the story starts with that 😍😍😍
Look at that 😍 The heroine meet the hero when his car was in troubled and he thought the heroine didn’t know how to fix it 😆😆 When she knows it more than him 😍 TAKE THAT!!! Hahahahaha😆

The hero’s personality is kind of the same with the heroine… Both are stubborn but the hero is more soft to the heroine. The hero is very close with his family which is so cute to see… He is also protective to his sisters and brother. They have a great relationship 🥺🙏🏼 And the hero never brings anyone to one of his business places that he owns, only the heroine. Which is so cute.
‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE.. DON’G GET ME STARTED! She’s my favorite one here 😍 She’s so similar to me it’s like reading myself but not with the singing and mechanic thing😆 She definitely made the hero so obsessed with her since the beginning… “KANE WAS CAPTIVATED by Sable as she strutted across the stage like the music lived in her soul and the lyrics were the very air she breathed. She was a natural performer, with an unexpected, and exceptional, stage presence.” I’m similar to her like her personality, her inside and not outside lol. The heroine is SASSY for sure, she doesn’t afraid to express her feelings to anyone like literally anyone. “Is that how you win women over? You wave money and they come running to stroke your overinflated ego?” 😆 The heroine have this aura of like “I don’t care” to people outside her family… But with her family and close long time friends and people in her hometown, she’d love and care about them so much and will do anything for them… The heroine is smart, beautiful, talented and fire cracker 😍😍 you will also see a lot of the heroine with her family having family time together, friends and going to her hometown festival… It was really fun to read that scenes where they are having fun like that 😍 ALSO WHAT I REALLY LIKED ABOUT HER IS THAT SHE DOESN’T CARE ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA, FAMOUS AND THE MONEY 😭 THATS THE BEST PART… She doesn’t have social media like me lol. Even though she’s very beautiful, she is so humbled and she doesn’t ever brag about everything…
The difference between the heroine and hero’s thoughts about their family;

Both didn’t say that they are clean or how long they had been celibate but it looks like it was a while for the heroine… the hero tho idk.
‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS almost 40, like he is 38 years old and the heroine is almost 30 years old…
‼️‼️‼️SLOW BURN.
But not too slow and not too boring and annoying… The slow burn is also safe!!!! no other people from both sides get between them even when they didn’t know the couple are a thing lol. So it was great to see that it was safe all the way… At first both of them were on denial about the chemistry because both never have a serious relationship before, but I’m glad both of them never have anyone else with them… No one gets between them.
‼️‼️‼️THE CHEMISTRY 🔥 THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THEM IT IS AMAZING ❤️❤️❤️ Even in the beginning it’s already romantic and very beautiful to watch this couple… The way the hero can’t stop thinking about the heroine since he first saw her and even before they got serious, it’s so romantic between them… THE ROMANCE IS ALIVE!!! ON FIRE. And what is more amazing for me is that the hero is the one who fall first and pursue the heroine❤️❤️
‼️‼️‼️THE HERO WHO FELL FIRST AND FELL HARDER FOR THE HEROINE YEAH🔥 HE PURSUE THE HEROINE AND EVENTUALLY THE HEROINE SLOWLY FELL FOR HIM TOO… BUT THE HERO IS THE ONE WHO PURSUE HER SO MUCH 😍 “Kane disliked people who threw their status around, but the words were out of his mouth before he could stop them, like a young boy trying to impress a girl instead of a man who needed to impress no one.”
THE HERO IS OBSESSED WITH THE HEROINE SO MUCH❤️❤️❤️ He likes to take care of her emotionally, mentally and physically and will do ANYTHING for her… Everything that the heroine did and do, he loves it and likes it. Nothing is boring to the hero about the heroine… Even at first he already open doors for her… He can’t even focused on the very most important meeting of his business deal because he was thinking a lot about the heroine🥺👻 And this even before they were dating, it was just s3x at first lol. So for him to be so into her like that it’s freakin romantic😍 “He walked out the door consumed by thoughts of the only woman outside of his family to ever distract him from the business he’d spent his life building.” 🥺 The hero never gets tired of the heroine being difficult or sassy to him, he loves her so deeply and accepts every part of her… You can see that by the way they talked together, so many of scenes of them being together like going on dates and talks about family which is cute! He is always so thoughtful to her❤️❤️ THATS WHY I SAID THE ROMANCE IS SO ALIVE HERE CAUSE SO MANY CUTE SCENES OF THEM LIKE THAT❤️❤️ HE EVEN VISITED HER HOME TOWN MANY TIMES WHO IS VERY FAR FROM HIM TO SEE HER AND FROM AUSTRALIA TO GO THERE… HE SACRIFICE FOR HER SO MUCH AND WITH NO HESITATION ❤️

Types of book that I’m looking for: SAFE, safe all the way from the beginning till the end🥵 No cheating, no unnecessary childish drama. Not too much OW DRAMA cause they are loud and annoying lol. NO to still having feelings about a ex especially wants go get back together tf no. NO to friends with benefits and still seeing other people type of sh*t. NO to hero or heroine who said i love you and have been obsessed but still likes to fvck around yeah big NO to that sh*t. NOOO to still married or still in a relationship with someone else while liking the main character, yeah they have to be single since the beginning. NOOO to a long separation and have someone else they have s3x with during the separation. NOO to too many times of separation and breaking up sh*t. NOO to toxic narcissistic characters.
I preferred the characters are loyal to the core, over the top possessive heroes since the beginning and never stops, main characters have unique jobs or talents, the hero adores and obsessed with the heroine so much, the hero fell harder for the heroine and don’t want let her go and fight for her. And most importantly EPILOGUE AND ESPECIALLY THE DECADES LATER SCENE…. HAPPY ENDING IS A MUST. Chemistry is a must too 🙏🏼

The hero is very close with his family which is so cute to see… He is also protective to his sisters and brother. They have a great relationship 🥺🙏🏼 And the hero never brings anyone to one of his business places that he owns, only the heroine. Which is so cute.

She’s my favorite one here 😍 She’s so similar to me it’s like reading myself but not with the singing and mechanic thing😆 She definitely made the hero so obsessed with her since the beginning… “KANE WAS CAPTIVATED by Sable as she strutted across the stage like the music lived in her soul and the lyrics were the very air she breathed. She was a natural performer, with an unexpected, and exceptional, stage presence.” I’m similar to her like her personality, her inside and not outside lol. The heroine is SASSY for sure, she doesn’t afraid to express her feelings to anyone like literally anyone. “Is that how you win women over? You wave money and they come running to stroke your overinflated ego?” 😆 The heroine have this aura of like “I don’t care” to people outside her family… But with her family and close long time friends and people in her hometown, she’d love and care about them so much and will do anything for them… The heroine is smart, beautiful, talented and fire cracker 😍😍 you will also see a lot of the heroine with her family having family time together, friends and going to her hometown festival… It was really fun to read that scenes where they are having fun like that 😍 ALSO WHAT I REALLY LIKED ABOUT HER IS THAT SHE DOESN’T CARE ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA, FAMOUS AND THE MONEY 😭 THATS THE BEST PART… She doesn’t have social media like me lol. Even though she’s very beautiful, she is so humbled and she doesn’t ever brag about everything…
The difference between the heroine and hero’s thoughts about their family;

But not too slow and not too boring and annoying… The slow burn is also safe!!!! no other people from both sides get between them even when they didn’t know the couple are a thing lol. So it was great to see that it was safe all the way… At first both of them were on denial about the chemistry because both never have a serious relationship before, but I’m glad both of them never have anyone else with them… No one gets between them.

THE HERO IS OBSESSED WITH THE HEROINE SO MUCH❤️❤️❤️ He likes to take care of her emotionally, mentally and physically and will do ANYTHING for her… Everything that the heroine did and do, he loves it and likes it. Nothing is boring to the hero about the heroine… Even at first he already open doors for her… He can’t even focused on the very most important meeting of his business deal because he was thinking a lot about the heroine🥺👻 And this even before they were dating, it was just s3x at first lol. So for him to be so into her like that it’s freakin romantic😍 “He walked out the door consumed by thoughts of the only woman outside of his family to ever distract him from the business he’d spent his life building.” 🥺 The hero never gets tired of the heroine being difficult or sassy to him, he loves her so deeply and accepts every part of her… You can see that by the way they talked together, so many of scenes of them being together like going on dates and talks about family which is cute! Types of book that I’m looking for: SAFE, safe all the way from the beginning till the end🥵 No cheating, no unnecessary childish drama. Not too much OW DRAMA cause they are loud and annoying lol. NO to still having feelings about a ex especially wants go get back together tf no. NO to friends with benefits and still seeing other people type of sh*t. NO to hero or heroine who said i love you and have been obsessed but still likes to fvck around yeah big NO to that sh*t. NOOO to still married or still in a relationship with someone else while liking the main character, yeah they have to be single since the beginning. NOOO to a long separation and have someone else they have s3x with during the separation. NOO to too many times of separation and breaking up sh*t. NOO to toxic narcissistic characters.
I preferred the characters are loyal to the core, over the top possessive heroes since the beginning and never stops, main characters have unique jobs or talents, the hero adores and obsessed with the heroine so much, the hero fell harder for the heroine and don’t want let her go and fight for her. And most importantly EPILOGUE AND ESPECIALLY THE DECADES LATER SCENE…. HAPPY ENDING IS A MUST. Chemistry is a must too 🙏🏼

I liked some things about this book and I disliked some things too. I did not like her band mates, and I don’t know where they got off getting pissed and talking to her the way they did all because she didn’t tell them Kane was her boyfriend. They seriously acted like she owed them. And Tuck🙄 yeah I felt sorry for what happened with his sister, but I just didn’t like him. For him to tell the h that they’d have to work back to being friends after discovering she’s dating Kane…wtf, why does that have any bearing on their friendship? Why would they have to work through anything????? And no epilogue 👎
Also side note: I HATE the name Kane🤢 I went to school with a guy named Kane and I couldn’t stand him so I got the ick every time someone said Kane in this book because I pictured the guy from high school

I’ve said this before but what’s one more time, amirite? Melissa Foster has an incredible way with words and her ability to always make a story poignant even when it’s light-hearted in nature is uncanny. I look forward to reading one of her stories not for any specific reason, but for all the reasons. She’s got a gazillion books published and whenever I have needed to get out of any mood books in general have put me in, she’s the one I turn to because no, I have not read all her gazillion books LOL and she almost always gets me out of whatever mood I’m in and puts a smile on my face!
Okay, so about Falling for Mr. Bad … The stories that stay with me are almost always stories that involve MCs that are both strong in their own right. They don’t need each other to get ”thru this thing called life” but because they have each other, their strength magnifies and their path is travelled with a deeper heart and in this case, it’s a heck of a lot sexier! LOL I want to be Sable when I grow up and frankly, I also wouldn’t mind being Kane! I loved Sable for her strength and sass, and I loved Kane for his determination and strength. Their story is the whole package and then some. It was sexy and passionate, both in and out of the bedroom, emotional and full of humor all at the same time, but most of all, as always, it was all wrapped in a huge cloud of heart! The sense of family is strong with this story, both by blood and by friendship and GAH, I love that so much! She does this also really well. Melissa writes stories surrounded by family and friends, always. They are always part of the strength a story carries. It’s her signature and I absolutely adore her for it.

Yes, all the attributes about the characters still hold true, but the power behind the story is how well it unfolded and character growth. Also, that tight rope a couple like Kane & Sable are constantly tugging at makes the *sweet spot* of a story that much more poignant and believable, and I believed in these two. That is my happy place in romance fiction! :)

This was my first ever Melissa Foster's book and believe me when I'll say I'll be very much coming back for more! 🥹
I don't even know where to start with Mr. Kane BDK Bad, do men like him even exist? 🥺
He may be arrogant and cocky in every way, but he's also the sweetest and most caring human being ever. There's something about his personality that made it so easy for me to love him. And once I got to know him closely? I was a goner and there was no way I was ever coming back.
Sable is the queen! Wow, I don't remember the last time I met such strong, defiant (in the best way) and confident woman. She definitely stole the show. 🔥
I absolutely adore how loyal and protective she is of the people she loves. She would literally give up everything she has to make sure the ones she cares about are okay and happy. She's selfless and caring and loving, and in all honesty I kind of wish I had a few of her qualities myself. I love her.
I was absolutely kicking my feet when Kane and Sable met for the first time. 🤭 Their banter is incredible and I loved absolutely every minute getting to know these two.
Both Sable and Kane are very stubborn, and it was definitely a blast seeing them in their back-and-forth while Kane worked his magic and did all in his power to convince Sable and her band to go on tour with him as an opening act for his brother's band. 🤭
I adored the connection between Sable and Kane. There was something between them since the beginning, but being there with them as they were trying to figure out what those feelings were felt really special, even more so when they started opening up to each other and allowing themselves to show who they really are underneath the layers of safety.
That ending melted my heart completely. I just fell in love with these characters so easily and so fully. Melissa's writing is amazing and she definitely delivered a beautiful and emotional story, with just the right amount of spice.

I really enjoyed this book. The story was full of angst, banter, heartbreaking scenarios, and a scorching hot, full of chemistry enemies to lovers romance. It has everything you'd want from great sex scenes to pure jealousy and much more. The fire between Kane and Sable was one that nobody could miss.
There was so much happening within this book. Secrets, betrayals, broken and strained friendships but at the base of all of that is hope, dreams, selflessness, and family not only by blood either, it's also about the family we choose. I cried plenty reading this book, especially when this strong bull-headed pair showed a little vulnerability. But I also laughed a lot too.
This book is a huge, huge recommendation from me. I loved everything about it, and yet again, Melissa Foster has pulled such a beautifully written love story. One that will be hard to forget.

I'm not even mad, Big Daddy Kane can manage my life and I wouldn't be upset. This man took the whole book and I LOVED IT.
Let's start with Sable, she's a super confident fmc who knows what she wants. I loved every moment of her, every thought, what a beautiful person she is with her family. She felt real because sometimes, by taking care of others, we forget about ourselves, and reading that touched me a bit. The way she was with Kane? God, I loved every interaction they had. There were sparks from the first time they met.
Kane, on the other hand, is one of those mmc that you know from the start is going to be a total alpha male, and you're not wrong. But he also has that soft side for the fmc that just makes you fall in love with him and Kane didn't fail to give us in him, a character that I like. And that mouth in the bedroom? Friends, I need someone like that (tell Melissa to write my life please).
This book was a pleasure to read, from the songs to the interactions between all the characters. Kane and Sable have a beautiful relationship, and when Sable was the one who wanted to run, Kane DIDN'T LET HER. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a win for me.

Empecemos porque Sable es una protagonista super segura con lo que quiere, ame cada momento de ella, cada pensamiento, lo hermosa persona que es con su familia, la sentí real porque si, a veces por estar pendiente de los demás nos olvidamos de nosotros mismos y leer eso me conmovió un poco, ¿la manera que era con Kane? Dios ame cada interacción de ellos, desde la primera vez que se conocieron hubo chispas y saltaron.
Kane por otro lado es de esos protagonistas que a la primera sabes que va hacer todo un macho alfa y no te equivocas, pero también ese lado suave que tiene por la protagonista que simplemente te enamoras y Kane no falló en traernos un personaje como me gustan ¿y esa boca en el dormitorio? amigos, yo necesito alguien así (díganle a Melissa que me escriba la vida por favor).
Este libro fue un placer de leer, desde las canciones hasta las interacciones entre todos los personajes, como Kane y Sable tienen una relación bonita y cuando Sable era la que quería correr Kane NO LA DEJO y eso señores para mi es un ganar.

This book was a pleasure to read, from the songs to the interactions between all the characters. Kane and Sable have a beautiful relationship, and when Sable was the one who wanted to run, Kane DIDN'T LET HER. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a win for me.

Empecemos porque Sable es una protagonista super segura con lo que quiere, ame cada momento de ella, cada pensamiento, lo hermosa persona que es con su familia, la sentí real porque si, a veces por estar pendiente de los demás nos olvidamos de nosotros mismos y leer eso me conmovió un poco, ¿la manera que era con Kane? Dios ame cada interacción de ellos, desde la primera vez que se conocieron hubo chispas y saltaron.
Kane por otro lado es de esos protagonistas que a la primera sabes que va hacer todo un macho alfa y no te equivocas, pero también ese lado suave que tiene por la protagonista que simplemente te enamoras y Kane no falló en traernos un personaje como me gustan ¿y esa boca en el dormitorio? amigos, yo necesito alguien así (díganle a Melissa que me escriba la vida por favor).
Este libro fue un placer de leer, desde las canciones hasta las interacciones entre todos los personajes, como Kane y Sable tienen una relación bonita y cuando Sable era la que quería correr Kane NO LA DEJO y eso señores para mi es un ganar.
Otro hermoso libro traído de la mano de una autora que sabe como escribir a sus personajes y que me encanten 🫶🏻

Falling for Mr. Bad (The Bradens & Montgomerys, Pleasant Hill - Oak Falls) is the eleventh book in the series by one of my must read and favourite authors, Melissa Foster.
Each book can be read as a standalone but if you want the full experience of each and every Braden and Montgomery, I recommend starting from the beginning. I didn't have the opportunity to start from the beginning, but it's still something I highly recommend nonetheless.
As always with my Melissa Foster reviews, I like to talk tropes. Who doesn't love a good trope talk? Here's what you'll be in store for with Falling For Mr. bad :

If you love any of those, you're going to love this book and the subtle micro-tropes that have been woven into it. I did! There's something in this book for everybody and I love the direction that Melissa has gone with these and the main tropes. Especially close proximity. That and its sister trope, forced proximity, are two of my all-time favourites.
Another bonus with this book before we even turned the page, was the promises of scorching heat, laugh-out-loud humour, loads of heat, no cheating, no cliffhangers and a happily ever after. The latter three being the most important. As a reader who doesn't condone cheating even in books, detests cliffhangers (for the most part) and can't read without a book having an HEA (even if its at the end of a duet or trilogy), I was over the moon when these promises rang true by the time I turned the last page. Moments like these where authors slip tidbits like this into blurbs mean a lot to us readers, perhaps more than authors think they do.
Now let's meet our main characters!
Sable Montgomery is a girl after my own heart. She's a woman who loves her single, do-as-she-pleases small town life where she sees family often, spends her days working on what she loves most in her auto repair shop, and plays at the local pub in the evenings with her band, Surge. She has no desire in her to be the settling-down kind who lets a man dictate her life in telling her what to do, or how to do it. Imagine then, her band being offered the opportunity of a lifetime which for them she cannot turn down, but would turn down for herself in a heartbeat. She would happily walk away as she has no time or patience for the glitz, glamour or over-inflated egos that are standard within the industry. This includes that of the irritatingly, infuriatingly, irresistibly hot billionaire that has been tasked with scouting Surge and more specifically, wrangling Sable into submission. Never an easy feat from the outset.
Kane Bad's life is far from a bad one, pun intended. He's had it good, he's had it hard and he's the man he is today thanks to the decisions he's made and the hours he's put in to live a comfortable life. He's able to work around most things in life, but the one thing he didn't see coming and couldn't move around, was taking on the responsibility of taking over as the manager for his brother's band, Bad Intentions. This also includes not taking account for coming across the stubborn yet beautiful lead singer, Sable Montgomery. As there's nothing he won't do for family, there's nothing he'll stop at in getting her on board for agreeing to tour with Bad Intentions as their opening act.
Convincing Sable is a hard enough concept to begin with, and Kane knows what he would rather be doing with her than trying to wrangle her into something she doesn't want to do, but has to do for the sake of her band. Namely, it involves less music and more time between a whole different set of sheets.
For the both of them a lot is tested during the road to being on the road and everything that naturally falls along with it, including loyalties. They are both loyal people to themselves and the ones that they love, with things coming to a head when neither is willing to concede when the occasion calls for it. Luckily for them, for everything they're not willing to do there's two things that they are. Specifically satisfying greedy pleasures and giving into sizzling desire that has been building between them from the moment they first met.
They are a symphony of sounds and souls and are clearly meant to be together, so it's all about riding out the mountainous melody and cresting the crescendo on the way to their much-earned happily ever after.
Being a reader who doesn't naturally gravitate towards musician/rockstar romances, I find myself every single time nothing short of smitten with Melissa's characters and the storylines they are all woven around and into. I'm won over every single time and I was again with this read not only due to her brilliant writing or outstanding characters, but the respect in which they were both crafted. They are more than two-dimensional with more than two-dimensional, real-life counterparts, and I loved the fact that women like Sable--like me--were represented with respect and dignity, rather than in a negative light as I have seen done in other romance novels.
Would I have liked a few things to be shown on the page instead of in abstract? Sure. But that didn't diminish how much I loved this book or Melissa as an author. That is just my individual taste as perhaps someone else's might be to not have those things on the page.
Mr. Bad & Miss Montgomery earned a very strong and proud 4.5 stars from me. They hit all the right notes, and I certainly would love an encore in a future book, as I'm not done with seeing the last of these two just yet.

ARC reçu en échange d’un avis honnête
Comme toujours j’attendais avec énormément d’impatience la sortie de ce nouveau Melissa Foster alors quand j’ai eu la chance de recevoir l’ARC je n’ai pas perdu de temps avant de me plonger dedans. Pour ce onzième tome de la série « The Bradens & Montgomerys », on retrouve Sable, l’une des filles de la fratrie Montgomery, mécanicienne et musicienne au fort tempérament et Kane Bad, un entrepreneur et manager très sûr de lui. Sable se retrouve plus ou moins contre son gré avec son groupe à devoir faire une tournée avec le groupe Bad Intentions dans lequel joue Johnny, le frère de Kane. Sable n’a jamais été attirée par la célébrité et refuse d’abord tout net cette offre. Mais Kane est bien décidé à la convaincre… Entre deux forts caractères comme les leurs, autant dire que tout ne se fait pas tranquillement et qu’il y a des étincelles! Des étincelles qui ne sont pas seulement dues à leurs frictions mais aussi à l’alchimie très forte qu’il y a entre eux. Seulement Sable ne veut pas se retrouver sous le feu des projecteurs parce qu’elle sort avec Kane. Elle déteste les rumeurs et être au centre de toute l’attention. Kane comprend cela mais il est incapable de garder ses distances. Pourtant ce n’est pas le but premier de sa présence pour cette tournée puisqu’il est avant tout là pour aider son frère. La famille passe avant tout pour Kane. Mais s’il peut aussi convaincre Sable d’aller plus loin avec lui, il n’est pas contre cette idée…
J’ai adoré ce tome.
Sable est géniale. Elle dit ce qu’elle pense et ne se laisse pas marcher sur les pieds. Elle sait ce qu’elle veut et ne veut pas. Elle a un sacré tempérament et j’aime le fait qu’elle ne soit pas du tout attirée par la célébrité ou l’argent. Elle reste simple mine de rien et derrière ses allures de badass, elle cache une grande sensibilité qu’elle ne montre à personne car elle a peur de ne pas pouvoir protéger les gens qu’elle aime si elle pense à elle.
Kane est tout aussi protecteur et badass que Sable et autant dire que leurs deux caractères mis ensemble ça fait des étincelles! Il peut sembler arrogant mais il sait ce qu’il veut et n’aime pas les jeux d’apparence. Il est extrêmement proche et protecteur de sa famille et j’ai adoré ce point mais j’ai surtout aimé sa relation avec Sable. Il la respecte énormément, la laisse faire ses propres choix et lui montre que même s’il la protège il ne lui enlève en rien son indépendance. Leur relation est vraiment top avec beaucoup d’humour, d’étincelles et d’alchimie.
La trame est vraiment intéressante et elle aborde plein de thèmes différents, les deux principaux étant centrés sur la famille et la célébrité. On ne s’arrête pas au côté strass et paillettes mais on voit aussi les dessous de la scène et à quel point cela impacte les artistes et leurs vies, tout comme le fait que leurs vies privées soient constamment étalées dans les journaux et sur les réseaux sociaux, ce que Sable ne supporte pas.
J’ai adoré retrouver les personnages des tomes précédents et suivre leurs évolutions. Comme toujours chacun y va de son grain de sel. On se rend compte à quel point Sable est proche de sa famille et c’est vraiment touchant.
J’ai juste eu un peu de mal avec le groupe de Sable. Ils sont censés être ses meilleurs amis mais ne se comporte pas vraiment comme tel, surtout dans les moments où elle aurait besoin d’eux…
C’est vraiment une excellente lecture et j’ai très hâte de lire le prochain roman qui portera sur Pepper, la soeur jumelle de Sable, qui est son complet opposé. Et qui ne sort que l’année prochaine… Mais en attendant, plusieurs Melissa Foster sont à paraître en 2024, à commencer par « A Taste of Whiskey » de qui doit sortir en avril et que j’ai très hâte de découvrir!
Je recommande vraiment ce livre (et cette série) si vous aimez les romans basés sur la famille, l’amitié, la musique et l’entraide. Tout cela mené par une plume fluide et très agréable.

Melissa Foster Does it Again!

Falling for Mr. Bad by Melissa Foster

I want to thank Melissa & Grey Promo for this ARC!
This was my first Melissa Foster book I have read and I really enjoyed it! I was not a fan of the third person omniscient POV. I enjoyed the story, but to me personally the POV really made it a little more difficult to read it as fast I usually would.
I loved the story itself, but did feel like there was no slow burn at all. It felt kind of rushed? But regardless, I enjoyed the book. I would probably think to give it a reread in the future because I was also in a minor reading slump trying to read this ARC, but loving the billionaire trope and she was a badass FMC was great haha

Kane Bad is the Man!!
This story was angsty and sweet all at the same time. I love how Kane was super protective of Sable.
“Let Big Daddy Kane ease your worries,” he whispered gruffly as the door opened behind him.
Oh Boy this man is everything and more.
I can have any woman except the only one I want. I can’t get you out of my head, and trust me, I’ve tried.”
Sable Montgomery is loyal to a fault with her friends and family. She knows things will change if she takes the offer for her band.
Characters interaction at its best. I just love how the families stick together through triumph and tragedy.

It feels like I’ve been waiting forever for Sable Montgomery to meet her match. As the Montgomery-Braden series has progressed through the years, of the five Montgomery daughters there’s only Sable and her twin sister Pepper left single. It seems like at least with this author if her series is based around a family with several daughters there’s always one that has the characteristics of Sable. Sort of like boy bands always seem to be made up of the same characters. One handsome, one cute, one funny etc. etc. etc. Sable is the sister who works in a typically male field (auto mechanic) when she’s not leading her bar band Surge playing at the local bar and festivals. Sable can do anything a man can do and do it better. She’s the tough sister who looks out for her siblings and is ready to throw down with anyone who would dare emotionally or physically harm them. Like some men Sable is a hit it and quit it kind of woman. She’s not interested in the complications of a relationship with some man trying to control her. One of Sable’s BFFs is Jillian Braden. In her book Jillian fell in love with hardcore rocker Johnny Bad. Early in their book Jillian makes Johnny promise that he’ll have Sable’s band Surge open for his next worldwide tour if she agrees to jet off to Colorado with him to help him with Zoey his newly discovered fourteen-year-old daughter. Let’s put aside the ridiculous idea that an established world famous band would agree to have a band no one outside of Oak Hill Falls MD. has ever heard of to be the opening act on their next world tour, and just role with it. And as this story goes despite the fact Jillian knows Sable has no interest in being an opening act for a world tour, Jillian is convinced Sable is too good to live her small life in their small hometown. Kane thinks Sable is the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. Kane hears Sable’s band play and is blown away by Sable’s talent and stage presence. But Sable likes her life and has no interest in becoming a big star. Her younger brother Axsel already is and after watching how he lives his life under the spotlight of public scrutiny she has no interest in following in his footsteps. More importantly she doesn’t want to be away from her parents or siblings in case they need her. Problem is most of Sable’s bandmembers aren’t nearly as content with their small town lives as Sable is. So Sable agrees to sign on as the opening act. And in short order Sable and Kane are either fighting or fucking because their attraction to each other is irresistible. Maybe its just my imagination but it seems to me that with each successive book Melissa Foster’s characters are having more and more sex. Sable and Kane are both insatiable so Kane and Sable have lots and lots of sex in this book. Eventually when they’re not fucking as they get to know each other better they find besides their sexual attraction they share a lot of the same values and interests and are really attracted to each other as people. Of course it takes until almost the end of the book before these two life long commitment phobes can admit to themselves that they’ve fallen in love. But they can’t let anyone know they’re banging because it would look like Sable used sex to earn her band’s spot on the tour. As the tour goes on the stress of constant travel, performing and being in close quarters starts to create tensions between the band members who have been friends since high school. When they discover Sable has been banging Kane and that she hasn’t told them about being approached by a major record label the shit really hits the fan.
This was a pretty good book. Sable’s and Kane’s somewhat abrasive, hyper-sexual personalities made for a lot of fun. Being the final book in this series (sister Pepper’s book due out next April kicks off a new series) all the Montgomerys and their now significant others and several of the Bads make appearances as secondary characters. There’s lots of sex and a very sweet H.E.A. so what’s not to like?
It feels like I’ve been waiting forever for Sable Montgomery to meet her match. As the Montgomery-Braden series has progressed through the years, of the five Montgomery daughters there’s only Sable and her twin sister Pepper left single. It seems like at least with this author if her series is based around a family with several daughters there’s always one that has the characteristics of Sable. Sort of like boy bands always seem to be made up of the same characters. One handsome, one cute, one funny etc. etc. etc. Sable is the sister who works in a typically male field (auto mechanic) when she’s not leading her bar band Surge playing at the local bar and festivals. Sable can do anything a man can do and do it better. She’s the tough sister who looks out for her siblings and is ready to throw down with anyone who would dare emotionally or physically harm them. Like some men Sable is a hit it and quit it kind of woman. She’s not interested in the complications of a relationship with some man trying to control her. One of Sable’s BFFs is Jillian Braden. In her book Jillian fell in love with hardcore rocker Johnny Bad. Early in their book Jillian makes Johnny promise that he’ll have Sable’s band Surge open for his next worldwide tour if she agrees to jet off to Colorado with him to help him with Zoey his newly discovered fourteen-year-old daughter. Let’s put aside the ridiculous idea that an established world famous band would agree to have a band no one outside of Oak Hill Falls MD. has ever heard of to be the opening act on their next world tour, and just role with it. And as this story goes despite the fact Jillian knows Sable has no interest in being an opening act for a world tour, Jillian is convinced Sable is too good to live her small life in their small hometown. Falling For Mr. Bad is the eleventh book in Melissa Foster's addictive The Bradens & Montgomery's, Pleasant Hill - Oak Falls series which is also A Bad Boys After Dark Crossover and is Kane Bad and Sable Montgomery's phenomenal story.
Sable Montgomery loves her life in her small town of Oak Falls, nearly all of her family live close by, she owns a successful garage and she has a great band full of her closest friends who play at all of the town's festivals, in Sable's eyes her life is perfect the way it is, why would she want to change it!
Kane Bad is at the top of his game, successful billionaire, manager to his brother's band Bad Intentions and loving the life he's living but he also feels like there's something missing from his life but he has no idea what. At least he didn't until he lays his eyes on feisty Sable Montgomery in her cowboy hat and her snarky mouth that he cannot help but be drawn too.
He also doesn't hear the word no very often, if at all, there is no-one who he cannot charm into doing what he wants, so when Surge's lead singer keeps turning down the offer to open on Bad Intentions tour he knows she won't be able to resist the offer or his charm if he goes to her small town and speaks to her in person.
What wasn't part of the plan was being extremely attracted to the stubborn lead singer and of course his offer being constantly rejected. Kane knows if he's going to get Surge to sign on for the tour he is going to have to play a little dirty.
Even though Sable dislikes Kane because of the way he went about getting Surge on the tour and using her bandmates to manipulate her into saying yes, she cannot deny the chemistry sparking between them, so they decide one time to get this attraction out of their system before the tour starts, simple right? What could possibly go wrong!?!

Of course you probably guessed that with chemistry like theirs one time was not nearly enough, both Kane and Sable want more, a lot more. I absolutely LOVED Falling For Mr. Bad I could not put it down! Sable and Kane were pure fire, you could feel the sparks coming off of the page! Melissa Foster writes incredible stories that grip you from the very start, keep you addicted and hooked throughout and leave you thinking about the amazing characters and the phenomenal story long after you've read The End. Falling For Mr. Bad is the PERFECT example of why Melissa is a favourite author for me, and I honestly cannot see that changing anytime soon, if ever! It's very rare that I finish a book and immediately go and buy the paperback and also have you seen the different covers for this book? They are all incredible I'm going to need them all! I cannot wait for what Melissa does next but I know it's bound to be phenomenal!

As with all the Wicked books I’ve read by Melissa Foster, I absolutely loved Falling for Mr. Bad. When I flipped to the last chapter, I was so happy and felt like I was celebrating with everyone in that last moment. What better way to stage the last chapter than that?!?! I cannot wait to get more of this family crossover to see Kane & Sable’s future. I just adore them!
Falling for Mr. Bad is told in the 3rd person POV from the FMC + MMC perspective. It tells the story of billionaire Kane Bad (Big Daddy Kane 😊 ) and rocker Sable Montgomery, as Kane works to secure Sable’s band, Surge, to open for his brother’s band, Bad Intentions, on their upcoming tour. Sable is a small-town gal who likes things the way they are, and she doesn’t find it necessary to mess up anything that’s already going the way she wants it. She’s the only one in her band who feels this way, though, as the rest of the close-knit group is eager to go on tour and make it big. Sable has a decision to make that has potential to take her out of her comfort zone and thrust her into the spotlight. Throughout this process, Kane & Sable get to know each other better and there is no denying their instant chemistry, from that very first look before either knew who the other was on the side of the road.
Kane is the swoon worthy MMC and Sable is our fiery mechanic by day and rocker by evening FMC. These two are the perfect match, they are pulled together magnetically. Just as much as I was swooning over BDK, I found myself loving Sable and her empowered personality who always looked after her family. Both characters are protectors of their families, even if that means they sometimes sacrifice their own happiness, but they would never change it for the world. This book had me in my feels in many ways and not just for the FMC + MMC. The detailed secondary characters who made up both families are just amazing – as a reader, you feel like you are there in the room/moment with these families, going through what they are experiencing together. Scenes with Kane’s mom, and Sable’s sister, Grace, in the present, plus scenes from the past between Sable and Tuck just wrenched my heart wide open for all the characters. There were some emotional moments which were bittersweet, but you couldn’t help feeling the heartache and grieve for past relationships that were lost. Those losses had to occur for our characters to end up where they are now. The last book of Melissa Foster’s I’ve read like this that had such visceral pain and grief was The Wicked Aftermath with Tank & Leah, and it hit just the same, yet different. I still felt it in my bones and like Tank & Leah, it was worth the wait to watch Kane & Sable heal to move forward in their own timeline. Melissa’s writing style is beautiful and the way she creates these characters is remarkable. Just when you think you can’t find another couple to swoon over, she drops a novel like this one and makes me chuckle as if she whispered to me, “Think again!”
If you enjoy a billionaire x rocker trope where there is snarky banter, characters go from dislike-to-love, have some spicy scenes, and are surrounded and supported by uplifting families on both sides, this is the book for you!

‘Falling For Mr. Bad’ was a fun read that interested me right from the start. Both Sable and Kane come from big families, and they both care deeply. The chemistry between Sable and Kane was so fun and addicting to read. There where several moments between them that made me laugh, and a lot more moments that made me swoon. I love enemies-to-lovers stories and this one was definitely fun. The banters between these two where so entertaining and I could have easily continued reading about them for awhile.
Both Sable and Kane’s character where fun to get to know. Kane was in the beginning a bit to crude for my taste. But when Sable and Kane slowly got closer, his character lost some of it’s roughness and I loved that. Sable was a total bad-ass. I loved how strong and feisty she was. And how determined to always take care of the people she loved.
I read this book as a standalone, which definitely worked, but I did find at times that there was a lot of talk about other family members I didn’t know because I hadn’t read their books. There is enough of explanation that it didn’t bother me too much. But I can imagine this book being even more fun if read in order.

I have come to just love about anything written by Melissa.
Sable and Kane were something else! Sable is an incredible singer in her band, but prefers to stick to performing in her small town while working at her auto repair shop. When big and bad ,successful Mr Bad shows up with an opportunity for her and her band, her life turns upside down. She’s never wanted to go on tour or be big time performer , but she always puts everyone’s needs ahead of her own and agrees for her band.
When she reluctantly agrees, she wants nothing more than to not feel the insane attraction towards Kane. She is independent and never puts herself first, so when the chance for more with Kane comes up, she fights it with tooth and nail. It was amazing being immersed into their world and meeting these characters. These two showed incredible character growth, individually and together as they build something together.
The insane chemistry and banter between these two was top notch.
This book had a really fun and addicting plot, with the perfect spice and such likable characters.
If you like rockstar romance, or billionaire romance, with a little enemies to lovers, you will devour this one!
I can NOT wait for Sable’s twin sister Pepper’s story next !

This is the first book I've read of Melissa's, and I will absolutely be reading more of the Love in Bloom series. The characters are fantastic, and I loved Sable & Kane's story. Big Daddy Kane is hotttt!! I love an arrogant over the top billionaire businessman, and he absolutely met his match in the small-town strong-willed singer/musician, Sable. Their instant chemistry and steamy banter is fantastic, and I love how much their families mean to the both of them and the huge role it plays in this story.

Their instant chemistry and steamy banter is fantastic, and I love how much their families mean to the both of them and the huge role it plays in this story.

I’ll be honest this book did surprise me with how much I loved it. Realistically I knew I would love it because it’s Melissa and I love everything she does but because I had not read the supporting casts books for this one I wasn’t sure if I would get as hooked for my normal Melissa reads.
Why did I ever doubt it? Of course I got hooked! I have to say this is probably one of the easiest Melissa books I’ve read. I absolutely flew through it and I got so engrossed so quickly.
I LOVE a snarky black cat fmc and that’s exactly what Sable was. Getting to see the flanter (flirty banter) between her and Kane was honestly so fun! I found myself laughing out loud and smiling like a crazy person through a lot of the book.
I also loved how Kane FELL. It felt so natural and all of a sudden this dude was like “oh shit I love her”. He didn’t want to fall, but when he did, he fell hard!
I loved reading Sable & Kane let each other in, and let their walls down as it wasn’t something that came naturally to either of them.
As always, another fantastic Melissa read that I definitely recommend!

Received an ARC for a honest review.
Oh I do love an enemies to lovers/friends with benefits situation. Kane has no idea what he's in for when he heads out to convince Sable's band to open for his brother's tour. She's feisty, he's feisty, and both are used to getting what they want. It isn't long before all that tension (and attraction) takes over and things get....intimate.
I loved how similar these two were. Yes, they were both stubborn, but there was so much more to them that I absolutely adored. Watching them realize that they were headed for more was a delight (and steamy). We also got some drama that broke my heart, but that ending was perfect.

I thought Johnny and Jillian were the ultimate swoon worthy couple. And then Kane and Sable appear……
Talk about explosive electric energetic chemistry these two jump out quickly and from page 1 till the last page they bring so much to their story. They come from two very different worlds and yet when it’s all said and done they are a perfect fit.
The hurdles they have to go through show how they are well attuned with each other and Kane let’s Sable be herself with out trying to change her.
I’ve been waiting for this book and I was not disappointed Melissa Foster knocks this one out of the park yet again.

This has been a really satisfying read. Well written, packed with fabulous characters, not the least of which are the two leads, Sable and Kane. Both strong minded, stubborn people with huge hearts, their meeting gets off to a rocky, tumultuous start, which paves the way for much head butting, banter, fun and, of course, heat. It is impossible not to fall in love with them. Home town loving, musician and mechanic Sable, with the wealthy, assured businessman come together to find a bond neither expected. Stand back and watch the fireworks!!
Add to that extended families, conflicts brought on by trying to please too many people, the stresses and strains on friendships created by close proximity, and you have just some of the many ingredients that make this an excellent read. 💖💖💖💖💖

This book is a slow burn but such a goodie. The banter between Kane Bad and Sable Montgomery is entertaining. I did find it somewhat annoying how they kept fighting against one another. However, once a contract is signed, things change. A change in a way that makes Kane Bad realize what he has done, and Sable wants more than what he offered. It was truly a great read, and I love the way it all came together for all characters.

This is my second Melissa Foster book and I quite enjoyed it. The story jumped right in with both our main character meeting from the first page and we get to see where their story goes from there. While I enjoyed the story as a whole I had some trouble connecting with the characters at first so it took me some time to start connecting with the book as a whole but once I was about 30%ish through the book I was able to really start enjoying it. This book has a lot of my favorite tropes so I did enjoy seeing that. Overall this was an enjoyable read. As always happy reading!

Falling for Mr. Bad by Melissa Foster is part of the "A Bad Boys After Dark Crossover Novel) (The Bradens & Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill - Oak Falls Book 11" Series. This is the story of Kane Bad and Sable Montgomery. Sable is the lead singer in 'Surge' band. Kane is a business man who manages his brother's band 'Bad Intentions'. Kane wants Sable to be in his brother band but he wants her for more than just that. I highly and I mean HIGHLY recommend Ms. Foster's writing. I hope to read more from her soon!

I had been waiting for Sable’s book forever and it did not disappoint! I knew she would need a strong hero and Kane Bad was exactly that. He wasn’t what I expected for her but wow was he perfect. They had chemistry from the moment they met but Sable fought it so hard. I loved the tension between these two and the storyline was fun too! This was one of my favorites from Melissa recently.

Easiest 5 stars to give though it deserves more!
Am I am completely addicted to Melissa Foster's writing? Yes, I most definitely am. It is the best kind of addiction because reading her books is the best kind of therapy, full of comfort, and for me, a safe haven I can get lost in.
This story was about two stubborn people who are a perfect fit for each other! Neither of them was looking for love or commitment, but once they were in each others' orbit, they couldn't resist the pull.
If you haven't read Rocked by Love and this is the first time you've met Kane the first impression would be he is arrogant billionaire and so full of himself like the man unapologetically calls himself BDK (I giggled like a school girl when I first read it) but he does like up to that name in every aspect. He is a vicious businessman but with a heart of gold reserved only for his family until he gets to know Sable and starts to fall hard for her and realise that he needs her by his side and will do whatever it takes to keep her. It is definitely a "he fell first" story, and I wouldn't say "but she fell harder" because these two BOTH fell hard.
Sable is AMAZING, I loved her in all the previous books and was so looking forward to reading her story and getting to know her more. She is fiercely loyal and protective of those she loves, she gives eldest sibling energy when she is not the oldest of her siblings. She hides her sweet, vulnerable and her sensitive side pretty well and gave Kane a wild run for him to get to dig deep enough and burrow himself inside her heart and get to really know her when she didn't even let those she loves the most see that side of her but once she did, she opened herself up for more than love but to realising that putting yourself first doesn't mean you are selfish or don't care about those you love!!
These two burned HOT!!! Their chemistry is undeniable, and they are just so freaking HOT ❤️🔥
Melissa Foster is a master story teller, she had me swooning hard one page and then crying my heart out reading the next one. This story was packed with so many emotions, yes it is a romance with lots of smutty scenes, but it is also a heartwarming story about hope and overcoming hard times and how important to have emotional support from your loved ones may those be your blood family or your found family so while reading this story be prepared to shed a few tears if you are a crier like me and for the emotional punches packed in some of the chapters.
I am so grateful for being lucky enough to get an ARC and read this book, one I know I will go back and reread again and again.
