One of my all time favorite children’s Christmas books because of its message- everyone has worth and sometimes the best gifts are not material. It has magical scenes of Santa’s workshop and creates a magical childhood for your kids when you read at Christmas! A must buy !!!

A cute Christmas story about an elf who is hopeless at making toys, but he's the one to help an unhappy little boy enjoy Christmas.

If you want your kid to learn about grit or a growth mindset, this is not the book for you.

BUT if you want them to learn that new toys may not make you as happy as will connection with the people you love, and that maybe reusing / passing down old toys is the best and most meaningful way to approach holiday gift-giving, and that staring meditatively into a fire may be as good a holiday activity as frenetically trying to find a perfect new gift -- then this is a 10/10.
