بنت صغيرة تتمنى أن تكبر مثل أختها وأخيها فيصبح مصروفها أكبر ، ويُسمح لها بالجلوس في المقعد الأمامي في السيارة، لكنها تلاحظ أنها إن كبرت سوف يكون عليها واجبات كثيرة للمدرسة، ولن تتمتع باللعب بالعرائس وبالحلوى وبالجلوس على ركبتي جدها مثلما تفعل الآن. لذلك، تغير رأيها. كتاب طريف يركز على موضوع يفكر فيه الصغار، وخاصة المحاطون بأخوة أكبر منهم.

A little girl has a big problem. She is the youngest and the little one at home. Her wish is to become a grownup like everyone around her in her family where she can be able to sit in the front seat of a car, take a bigger sum of pocket money, and not get interrupted as she speaks. But as she ponders over her big problem, she realizes that being a grown up is not as fun as she imagines. A Little Problem brings to light a universal problem little children experience amongst their older siblings and singles out the beautiful advantages of being a little child.

كتاب جميل يتناول مشكلة يواجهها كثير من الاطفال ويعطيهم حكمة رائعة وهي أن عليهم أن يكونو أنفسهم ويعيشوا حياتهم بكل ما فيها من متعة...من الدروس المستخلصة أيضا أنه لكل عمر ولكل شخص في حياته ايجابيات وسلبيات ويجب عليه أن يعدد الايجابيات بدل من التركيز على السلبيات...رسومات القصة أيضا رائعة ببساطتها
