This is such a cool book. The creativity of these "crafty" people - I just flipped from page to page in awe. I have always had a fantasy of making my own hats out of roving and other materials and this just fueled that fantasy. There is everything in this book from cute novelty slippers (they were gray and one looked like a mouse) to actual art instillations. I also quite enjoyed the inventiveness of how people beat up there wool - from attaching it to bicycles and riding around with it in metal tubes to placing it in mats and rolling it under your butt as you sat. Really an interesting book and just fun to look at.

More historical view of felting and fulling - many cultures have relied on felted animal hair for clothing and even housing (yurts). Also covers methods and instructions, but is more artsy, and less "popular."
