This is another unputdownable story featuring the Wingate sisters. As we dip into book six, we are faced with decisions, forgiveness, and finding love. We are absorbed into the surprises, insecurities, and drama Hope Holloway style. Her families are our friends.
As the Wingate girls rally for Tori, Raina, and Maddie, the love and support will warm your heart.
This is book six in the Seven Sisters series, and the series works best if you read them in order.
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
My least favorite of the series but still good! I’ve just got book 7 to wrap up this series. Excited to see what happens to this family in the final book.
Every time I read a Hope Holloway book, I am overcome with emotion. The Dressmaker on Amelia Island is no exception. Drama, surprises, passion, and suspense. This book has it all, and I was quickly caught up in the family excitement, tension, insecurities, and above all else, love. I highly recommend this series and this latest heartwarming and sentimental visit with the Wingate family!

Memorable Quotes: Val had never been nice to her daughter-in-law in the past, making no bones of the fact that it was Raina’s ambition and work ethic that cost her three pregnancies. But of all the “relatives” in her life, who was the one who said she could stay? Raina. How was that for irony?
My rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🏝🥻👗💃🏿👰💍
My thoughts: 🔖Page 19 of 317 Chapter Two Reina - my eyes have given up, I'm probably going to have to reread this when the sun is up. Not sure I'm into the romantic suspense aspect. 🔖200 I don't know why Finn is having a hard time when he had a cousin the same age in the same grade at the same school who he was already friends with.
This was great, nothing new for this genre but the writing is superb. I said I would be disappointed if Book 7 didn't feature a handful of weddings but I'm not mad. I looking forward to Book 7 and there's still time, maybe even some pregnancies too! 😂
Recommend to others: For sure, this series has been fabulous.
Seven Sisters 1. The Beach House on Amelia Island (2023) 2. The Cafe on Amelia Island (2023) 3. The Bookstore on Amelia Island (2023) 4. The Florist on Amelia Island (2023) 5. The Chocolate Shop on Amelia Island (2024) 6. The Dressmaker on Amelia Island (2024) 7. The Inn on Amelia Island (2024)
I am rating this as I've rated all the rest. I enjoy them but there is something missing for me. This book itself follows Madeline and her second chance at love with Adam. I'm a sucker for a second chance romance and I'm pleased I got it in this book.
Zeroing in on Madeline Wingate, The Dressmaker on Amelia Island had more excitement and danger than the first books by far. Madeline finds herself as an undercover informant by way of making a wedding dress for the daughter and partner in a family drug ring. Any tidbit she could pick up during dress fittings from the bride, Bella, were handed over to the FBI to be used in catching this family red-handed. Things got a little too close for comfort. However, circumstance or two turned Madeline and Adam’s lost-and-found-again love into something more permanent. Of course with these Wingate sisters, there has to be a wedding or proposal or two. Toss in an unexpected visit from someone from Raina’s past. Tori has to learn to let go of her 13-year-old son a little and quit being so overprotective. There’s more. Intrigue with Justin, Dr. Hottypants, and a beautiful Mayo Clinic doctor. Middle school angst. Tending to twin babies. And what is Val’s secret? Val? Who is Val? Dive into this whirlwind of a story and find out.
You need to start with book one and fall in love with the sisters and their lives. Hope has a way with words and once you start on any series, you will be hooked. Can't wait to see Thing one and thing two grow up!!!
I love this series! There’s the relaxation of knowing everyone will get their happy ending, the suspense of not knowing exactly how, and the joy and say of discovering it!
Fun story to read. This whole series is very good and I loved the little bit of suspense thrown in to this one. I love the storyline and how the characters are so real.
This was an entertaining book. Caught up with all the sisters and thought it was the last book in the series. No...it's not. One more to go!

5 plus stars. Compelling read! This book has it all—-crime, love, passion, and romance. I do not like long reviews so let me summarize this way: Madeline finds herself working with the FBI and a wedding dress is involved; Tori is frustrated with Dr. Hottypants and her kids are involved; and Raina finds herself taking care of her former mother-in-law and her twins, while Chase takes care of her and the family business. Wow! Book 6 is so good. Thank you for the ARC copy.
Such a beautiful story line. I love that no matter what age, life is full of surprises, ups and downs, sadness Love and fun , and family always matters. I don't want this series to end. I'll be imagining how the future of the seven sisters new lives with their newest family members, turn out. Plus what's on Chloe's future life agenda ? Highly recommend this series and especially this author! Looking forward to book 7 and hoping for several more books.
I just adore all of the characters in this series when one book ends I still look forward to the next to visit with my “friends” and “family”again. just finished book 6 of the series now I have to wait two months for book 7. I will be very sad when this series is over thank you Hope Holloway. I so enjoy your writing style.
Sixth in the series and might be my favorite yet! A little dose of intrigue and some serious medical concerns mixed in with all the love and laughter of the Wingate family…you can’t beat this series! Start from Book 1 and you won’t be sorry! Joy and sorrow and tears and laughter as always are waiting for you!
I have read all 6 of the Amelia Island series and cannot wait for number 7! I lived on Amelia Island for 18 years and reading this series makes my heart happy!
Another great story in the Wingate sisters series. There are so many emotions that continue in this series. There is drama, suspense, health scare, and so much love. I just love this series. You will love this series!
Well, I guess we are almost to the end of a great series of books. I have loved this series so much. This one was good. Glad to see Maddie become more family oriented. Can't wait for the last one to come out in July.
My favorite of this heartwarming, family-filled series! I really enjoyed the twist of undercover work and Val’s growth and relationship with Raina! The Dr. Hottypants skit made me chuckle! I can’t wait for the last book. These books give me joy.
The Sisters are together like glue! It’s a well told tale of the Wingates, their strength and desires clearly articulated. I can’t wait for the next book, and I am disappointed it’s the last in the series.
Somehow I got totally goofed up on the order of these books. Two, I ended up reading twice. But the author makes you love the sisters and their families. Good series, and I look forward to the last book.
This book was great with all of the drama of Adam and Maddie. The problems Val was going through with her health. Finn getting in trouble at school. Everyone talking about getting married. I hope Hope will write more books.
Slow at first but keeps you reading. Could not stop reading. Suspense, since of love, espionage, what else could happen. Keeps you on your toes to the next chapter to the end. Can't wait to see what is in the next book.
This book was inspiring and awesome to read. Love the family connection. You get a feeling of being on Amelia Island and enjoying the beach along with the seven sisters.
