From the Best-Selling Author of The Forever Series comes the second addition to the Love Me Series: Play Me!
HELL YEAH!!! 5 SEXY STARS AGAIN! Miss Kar never ever disapoint me! So please please, write faster for another one cuz I hate waiting! Well you must be asking what do we have in this one... Oh my...I don't know where to start! Probably here...
Meet Weston He's sexy, and major player, dominant and can't keep it in pants by all means...but he become so sweet, and posessive and protective, just the way I loved them! So,he injured his leg,and our heroine must help him recover! Nooooo, not like that! You dirty minds! She's a trainer. She's feisty, strong and has a troubled past, just like him. I just loved their bantering and love/hate relationship.and steamy scenes in the end...
Not only were there many typos and incorrect grammar/use of English, but the writing and plot development were immature and shallow. I love a jealous, possessive alpha male, but I need more than just that. I also want to see the H and h build their connection. I want something more than "he's hot, he's a jerk" and "she's a bitch, she's hot." "I want to protect her from everything." As an example of how shallow this book is, . This is just one example of how the book does not provide more than the thin framework for a story. I just couldn't continue reading this - it wasn't even worth the 45 minutes I spent before I gave up.
WOW! Alla Kar did not disappoint, that book was HOT, Hot, hot! I still cant get enough of the reformed bad boy stories, and this one was defiantly one of my favorites! Well I will defiantly be reading the next one, hopefully its longer than this one, I might have to re-read it in the meantime ;)
First of all I would like to state this: That book was in imminent dnf danger. I finished it, only because I wanted to see where this was heading. The characters were sometimes good. I love me a cocky, self-centered football player. I even love a sassy heroine. BUT DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE when authors throw EVERY CLICHE in a book to make it interesting. Let me tell you something honey, when a college student has a kid THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL SHE GOES OUT PARTYING 2 TIMES A WEEK!! This kid really seemed like an afterthought. Secondly, I thought the hero was recovering from an injury. WHERE IS THE HEALING PROCESS? It's all about sex and sex and wanting her? (which SOMETIMES is a good thing, I suppose). Your whole career is on the line buddy! WAKE UP! Last but not least, her ex. *sigh* oh, boy, her ex. It's not enough the book has no actual plot, you have to give a crazy crackhead ex? Why? Why would you do that to your readers? Why? I don't know what happened here. Honestly. I had such high hopes. *tired sigh*
So after working on the Cover for this book and getting to hear about the story from the author and all the teasers I was so so excited to read the book. Even knowing maybe a little bit more about what would happen then most people would going into this, it held my interested each page along with some suspense and surprises along the way. I LOVED their Love/ Hate Relationship at first, but when WESTON goes all in he is super intense, in a very Very good way.
I also am a big fan of strong heroines, so Roxy was defiantly my type of girl. I thought they made a great couple and the steam factor was off the charts.
So I am basically addicted to anything this girl writes, and I feel super blessed that this was the second on of her covers I got to work on!
I Only wish it were longer, I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.
2 Stars, barely. I gave Play Me 2 stars because I liked the plot and it had potential to be a good book, however the book was disappointing. There was barely any character development or plot, I like the whole player turned lover at first sight, however I didn't like the growth between H and h. It seemed forced and sudden, one minute they are hating each other, and the next they're pulling each others clothes off. Between them getting together and falling in love was very short, and there was no plot showing them falling for each other. I know this is labelled as an "insta love" and that's what I was looking for, but all off a sudden H was loving h's son and her. The one thing I kinda liked was the h's ex If you don't like a quick read (took me like 1-2 hours), with insta love with a player, a single mum, and bad writing, this isn't the book for you
Such a cute and sexy book! Alla does it again! I love this author. A player, bad boy that doesn't date...meets his match! She's a feisty, strong, ball busting, single mom. Their world's collide and sparks fly, but she wants no play in his game. The word play is fun, quirky, and crazy. The hot meter is wowza!! I loved this book because it was complete! Hot, steamy, sexy, fun, drama, lust, love, humor, and yummy!!
this book was short and sweet. I enjoyed it very much. the little twist they had gave it some depth. if your looking for short this is your book I read it within a.few hours.
