DCI Dan Redd knows there is more than one killer. The tattoos on the bodies look ritualistic, but he has no idea what they mean. With the recent police cuts, the odds of him finding the killers are stacked against him. Meanwhile, another body is discovered with the same markings. Desperate, he teams up with profiler Tessa Davies, who tells him the killings are sacrifices. As they delve deeper into dark minds of the killers, they are led into a hell on earth. Their very lives are at stake. Death Marks is a stand alone in a crime series. If you are a fan of dark crime, nerve racking suspense and a thriller of a plot then you will love this series.
I live with hubby on the South Coast of England. I often write in the beach hut gaining inspiration by walking along the beach with Lily my golden retriever.
I draw on my work and past studies for the books. They form the core of the novels. I am so glad I can now write full time.
I have a B.A. Hons in Psychology that included Artificial Intelligence, another B.A. Hons in Eng. Lit and Creative Writing. My M.A. was in Religion and Mysticism; I also have a Hon.Dr.Sc. concentrating on Pain control and Complementary Healing methods. These subjects enrich the thrillers and paranormal novels that I am writing.
Way more than I was expecting. On the edge of your seat page turner to say the least! Very detailed and well written! The thriller of this book, I promise will keep you reading from the time you start! Don't miss out on this, get your copy today!
This book was beyond my expectations. With plenty of storyline, colorful characters and murders that resemble sacrifices this book will keep you going until you find out exactly who is responsible .
The description of the murders is not for the faint of heart. Katy Walters is able to bring to life the words she has written on these pages. This book takes you to that place where anything around you does not exist; only you and the story.
I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys reading mystery and suspense. The characters work well together in this story. Because of this it makes you want to fight for those that are standing up for the victims and dislike the ones that are responsible for the horrific displays of death.
I would recommend this book for anyone 18 years and older due to the graphic nature and the details in parts of the book. I look forward to the next book from this series!
When Detective Dan Redd is called to a murder scene, there is one important question "Where is the head?" The case is screeching to an halt, then he hears about dr Tessa Davies, she tells him about a cult who brutally mutilate bodies. With no end to the killings it is a race against the clock to catch them and unroll the cult, before it is to late. Great book with lots of twists and strong characters I sat at s point on the edge of my chair, I had to read on and finish it, it is a absolute thrill and I hope Katy Walters will continue writing in this genre.
