For more than 30 years Tony Robbins' passion has been helping people BREAK THROUGH and take their lives to another level -- no matter how successful they already are -- in the areas that matter most: their business, personal finance, intimate relationships, families, careers and health.

Tony Robbins has helped more than 50 million people from more than 100 countries transform their lives and their businesses through his books, audio programs, health products, live events and personal coaching. He's been fortunate enough to work with everyone from presidents of countries to some of the true legends of entertainment, sports and the business world. But his work is not limited to Fortune 500 CEOs and athletes. He has a special passion for small-business owners, parents and students.

Being the Chairman of seven privately held companies and five holding companies in diverse industries keeps him busy. Many of his companies have become brands that are leaders in their category - from the award winning Namale Resort & Spa in the Fiji Islands, to Twinlab and Metabolife in the sports nutrition field, to the Anthony Robbins brand in personal and professional improvement.

Most of Tony's core strategies for creating breakthroughs have come from his work with some of the biggest names in the business world: He's had the privilege of modeling and distilling the strategies of leaders in some of the fastest-growing companies in the world. He's used these distinctions to help optimize and grow enterprises to new and more profitable levels.

One of the things Tony is most proud of is his humanitarian work through the non-profit Anthony Robbins Foundation. He's always believed that if we're blessed enough to have insight and economic opportunities, then we're also blessed enough to be able to give back. To those who much has been given, much is expected. Tony Robbins is extremely blessed to be able to feed more than two million people in 56 countries every year through his International Basket Brigade.

Well, listening to this audiobook radically changed my way of living. A real turning point in my life. Let me explain.

Starting from the first day of listening, I killed of procrastination and started taking smarter decisions and spending much less time fooling around.

This book gives tools and inspiration. The most valuable tool to me was how to use your emotions to achieve your short and long term goals.

So applying some of the principles of this book will increase your emotional intelligence. By the way, this is something that is not taught at school and I often meet very smart people who have a really poor emotional intelligence. As a result they do not use their capabilities at the fullest or they let small things undermine their happiness.

Anyway.

I also need to say that the "Daily Magic" process (a workout designed by Tony) provided in the book is really a GREAT way to start your day and gives you a lot of energy in all the aspects: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual.

So I highly recommand this practice.

The one and only reason why I do not give this a 5-star rating is because Tony sometimes makes self-promotion (especially in the "Pure energy live" session, which is the only trashy part of the book) of his own products. Kind of annoying.

I listened to this book on tape during a solo road trip, and while it was geared toward inducing inspiration through Tony's expressive voice, chanting "live with passion," there are some very basic takeaways that make a lot of sense. Essentially, to live your best life, and to defy odds, personally, professionally, financially, spiritually, etc. you must establish uncompromisable lifestyle habits, to build a foundation for greatness to have a shot at resting upon.

1. Take full responsibility for your life
So, you don't have your dream job because your dad didn't believe in you. Or, you're overweight because kids teased you... when you were a kid. The only way to move your life forward begins with acknowledging that it is good/bad, or can become better or worse, and it's all because of, and up to you.

2. Work out daily for one hour
But what if there's a long work day? Or you're tired? Nope, the excuses don't work. Your health needs to be a priority, because with optimal health you're in a better position to tackle life's problems, and reinvigorates your ability to thrive. He calls it your hour of power.

3. Write out goals and check-in often
A psych study showed that about 3% of kids in high school wrote down life goals, with a detailed plan to accompany. In 20 years, those kids not only more often than not achieved many of those goals, but had a higher net-worth than the 97% of students who didn't... combined. The power of writing it out can't be emphasized enough. Another thing: are you censoring your goals? If so, stop it. Your goals should feel luxurious, and dreamy. You're not thinking big enough if the key words are "safe," or "stable," or "enough." Aim to thrive and you have a shot at getting there.

4. Question your self concept. Question fear.
If you don't like the way you are, or have certain areas of your life that you desire but believe aren't available to you, it's time to take ownership (see #1) and remember that your self concept is created, and perpetuated by you. If you don't like something about yourself, you don't need to ease into deciding to make the change. You can decide right now to change a thought, or establish a habit, and never look back.

It has been years now since I listened to this in audio book fromat, but this guy is the embodiment of both inspirational and motivational. Especially when you listen to his "come on get going!" gravely voice, as he enthusiastically reads all his own audio books. I don't remember too many details about this specific audio book (it has been too many years) but I know I've incorporated many of his suggestions into my daily life. Highly recommended!

he is inspiring and really gets me to take action. The 'hour of power, 30 min to thrive, or 15 of fulfillment,' is essentially. I feel like you can't really read this book without actually doing what he tells ya to. ya know :)

Wow what a fantastic program. I definitely felt this was a great program to have gone through. I will happily listen to some of the sections several times to get the most out of the messages.

I would definitely recommend this program for anyone wanting to define their goals and pursue them

The content in this audio seminar is life changing. I literally took over 15 pages of notes. Way too many nuggets to list. To sum up primarily the message is centered on what you focus on, how you use your physiology, and the language you use both internally and externally. PHENOMENAL!

This is a pretty in-depth program from Tony. One of his better ones. Talks about himself quite a lot and gives really helpful stories to motivate your mentality.

Always love a good listen to good ole Tony Robbins. This a pretty quick overview to get your mind in the right place. I don't always do the exercises but it is still good to listen to the messages. I hope to dive a little more into Tony's work.

The hour of power is one of the best parts of this program. It is something to always keep on the ipod and listen to in the morning and get that body moving.

I would rate this audio CD book higher as I loved it! However, the QUALITY of the cds and DVDs were very poor. 3 of them did not work in my brand new car, or my brand new computer. The discs were damaged and I repeatedly contacted Tony Robbins company to have them replaced, they kept telling me they would send replacements, but the promises were empty. Very disappointed in the quality of the product, the information I did get however was life changing.

Very insightful and interesting. I will definitely listen to this one again (about 10h15 on YouTube). He's got a good voice to listen to and I loved the exercises (even if I could not do them this time around). Very helpful. I recommend it to anyone wanting to improve their life, not matter the sphere (personal, finances, work, etc.).

Great Audio book with more tools that can transform your life. Somewhat inconvenient to listen when driving because it requires you to do exercises, but otherwise it provided me with some useful tools for everyday life

Tillsammans med "Live with Passion" min absoluta favorit bland Tony Robbins många ljudböcker. Den länkas ihop med "Personal Power". Där valda delar av det programmet bör repeteras innan men de stegen beskrivs i ljudboken. Ska du lyssna på ett ljudboksprogram om personlig utveckling så välj den här!

Tony Robbins is a great motivator. The information is not new; but I appreciated the motivation and drive. It helped me to get to the next level of effectiveness and goal reaching.

I don't need so many adjectives to describe this book. Derivative, generic, monotonous. Robbin's delivery style reminds me pastors of "modern" churches, Jehovah's Witnesses for example. :-)
