Love this series! Love how the author transports you to the setting (love her descriptions of Alaska) and this time she takes you to Las Vegas. I felt like I was there, experiencing it through the characters’ eyes. I just love KR ‘s writing style and loved every character in every book of this series. But Quinn? He was something else. He had me tearing up. Parker irked me a time or two, but she is young and didn’t have ahold of her feelings. This enemies to lovers had to be one of my favorite reads—so enjoyable that I had to read it straight through until I finished. There one more book coming in this series, and I’ll be so sad when it’s finished. These are stories that I’ve looked forward to since I started the series. I hope KR can come up with another family series like this one. I enjoyed getting to know the Stewart family and loved learning about Alaska!

4.5 ⭐️

Quinn was EVERYTHING. I loveeee how obsessed he was with Parker. This man was so in love with her it made me wish I WAS her. Even though I don't necessarily agree with the way he used to treat her I do understand his reasoning. He gave it his all in trying to apologize and have her see the real him. He was a sweetheart. He fell first AND harder.

Parker was amazing. She never hesitated to stand up for herself. I do love how she handled everything with Quinn. Even though she thought she hated him she still sat and listened to his side of the story. I admired how she was able to understand him and fully forgive him. One thing the Stewart’s family has a big heart.

These two together had me giggling and stuck in my chair not wanting to stop reading. Even when they "hated" each other they still had an insane amount of chemistry. When I realized how old they were it threw me off a little bc I found them to be so mature I thought they were a little older 😭. Quinn knew exactly how he felt about her and he made sure she knew it.

“I love you,” I whisper near her ear. “I’ve loved you for so long, Parker Stewart.” LIKE I LOVE HIMMM

I am left a little bit unsatisfied only bc I would have liked to see her repair her relationship with her dad. Especially knowing how close her family is. Hopefully we get to see that in the next book. Loved getting an insight into the rest of the family and seeing them support each other.,

After being tormented by him for most of her childhood, Parker is nonplussed to find Quinn not only on her flight, but presenting at the same travel conference for an entire week. Desperate to set aside whatever nonsense he’s up to, Parker begs Quinn to act as if they’ve never met.

In love with Parker as far back as he can remember, Quinn jumps at the chance to act as if he and Parker are total strangers. Determined to get her to see a different side of him and aided by a mysterious text chat, Quinn sets out on a charm offensive to win Parker over and is delighted when she is hesitantly responsive.

Can Parker forgive Quinn for the thoughtless pranks he pulled on her over the years? Will Quinn’s best friend who just so happens to be Parker’s brother and the instigator of many of the pranks Parker fell victim to be okay with a romantic relationship between his sister and his bestie?

Another fun installment in the Stewarts of Skagway series. I love when the guy falls first. These two are young but in many ways they’ve had to grow up quickly, so they’re actually perfect for each other.

I was fortunate to have received an advance reader copy from Grey’s PR and bookfunnel, and I’m pleased to share my honest review.

The fifth book in this Alaskan family series, and I think this might be my favourite 😍
Parker and Quinn have been enemies since they were kids. He's her brother's best friend and has been teasing and pranking her since they know each other.
When she finds out they will be attending the same travelling conference in Vegas, she asks him to pretend to be strangers. Quinn agrees even though he has been in love with Parker since the fifth grade...

I really enjoyed this enemies to lovers, brother's best friend book, and the benter between them was on spot!

What goes in Vagas stays in Vagas?!

ARC REVIEW

3.5/5 ⭐

This is the fifth book in the series having Parker Stewart and Quinn Morgan as the mains.

Quinn and Parker are childhood enemies or so all of them think. Quinn is Sawyer's best friend who's also Parker's brother. Quinn has always been in love with Parker as long as he remembers which is since he was 11. He always wanted to be close to Parker but Sawyer being the prankster in the Stewart family roped him into all kinds of mischief. They both pranked Parker all her life and she started resenting Quinn for who he was. Quinn wanted a piece of attention from Parker even if it meant her disdain or hate.

Quinn and Parker are in Las Vegas for the conference where they are to tell people about their business in Alaska. Quinn is new to this but Parker has done it quite a few times before. He catches her on the plane and she asks him to remain distant from her as in being strangers in the foreign land so much to Quinn's dismay. Even though he doesn't like it one bit yet he respected her choice and request.

They were there, they kept on colliding with each other and Quinn thought or hoped against hope that maybe he can show his other side to her and maybe she can also fall in love with him as much as he's in love with her only in six days.

Well to be honest I'm not a fan of an insta love story but the author did a good job justifying the thin line between hate and love. But again it's a fast paced story and it's totally not my jam.

The book is about to be released on 17th October, if it's your jam go for it. It's a cute small town romance. But I'd have loved a bit more build up in the story.

This is the fifth book in this impressive series, and this is Parker and Quinn’s story.
Quinn is Parker’s brother’s best friend, and has been her nemesis since childhood, and despite having been a thorn in her side, he has a soft spot for her. When Parker and Quinn happen to be in Vegas at the same time, what happens in Vegas does not always stay there.
This is a well written easy to read story which has family, friendships, emotions, humor, witty banter, bickering, secrets, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, small town romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I am in love with the Stewarts of Skagway series. Six siblings. Letting go of their past mistakes, the pain of losing their mom and learning to embrace new beginnings, while finding their forever love along the way.

Parker Stewart is the middle daughter. At 22 she has already experienced and traveled more than most young women. Quinn Morgan is her younger brother’s best friend and he’s been a thorn in her side most of her life. His constant pranks, teasing and relentless attention are too much.

Just like the saying goes, there’s a thin line between love and hate, one Parker & Quinn learn is a tricky tightrope to navigate. Childhood nemesis turned enemies to lovers with smoldering chemistry. So good!

I loved Parker and Quinn’s story in Parker by Katy Regnery, book five in the Stewarts of Skagway series, is a charming, entertaining, brother’s best friend, enemies-to-lovers romance. Another story of what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas; but follows you home.

Parker and Quinn have known each other for most of their lives as Quinn is Sawyer’s, Parker’s brother, best friend. Unfortunately Parker and Quinn constantly argue and bicker whenever they are near or in the same room as each other but Quinn has a big secret; he has been in love with Parker for years. He believes that despite the fact they are constantly at each other throats, at least he is near her and being noticed by her, which makes him happy.

Parker is annoyed to discover that Quinn is not only on her flight to Seattle, but will also be presenting at the same travel conference she was heading to; for an entire week, in Vegas. Desperate to get ahead of any pranks he might be up to, Parker begs Quinn to act as if they’ve never met. In love with Parker for as far back as he can remember, Quinn jumps at the chance to act as if he and Parker are total strangers. Though upset, Quinn decides to give Parker what she wants and decided to make sure she was safe from a distance. Spending time together, the attraction and chemistry between Parker and Quinn grows, becoming more difficult to deny there is anything between them.

Just as they decide to take things to the next level something happens that tears them apart. There really is a fine line between love and hate, and sometimes, what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. Once Parker and Quinn return home, they need to unravel the trouble from the Vegas trauma, and figure out if they will be able to resolve the problems resulting from said trauma. Parker and Quinn deserve a future of love and happiness together and must figure out how to forgive and reunite in order to get it. Although these two are young, early twenties, they’ve had to grow up quickly. Parker and Quinn are perfect for each other; fitting together like puzzle pieces, and yin to yang.

This is another great story in the Stewarts of Skagway series; with a wonderful and supportive family, friends and partners. I really enjoyed how the entire Stewart family was closely entwined within this story; even if they were thousands of miles away from Skagway .

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Parker is book 5 in The Stewarts of Skagway series and follows Parker on her quest for love and happiness.

Parker is the fourth child in the Stewart family. Her younger brother Sawyer is best friends with Quinn and has been since they were five years old. Quinn has always been around the Stewart family, much to Parker's consternation. You see, Quinn and Sawyer would pick on her. Pull her pig tails, play tricks on her, put a snake down her shirt. Typical little brother mayhem, just doubled.

Quinn is an only child. His father and Sawyer's dad are best friends. So it was no surprise that the Morgans and Stewarts spent holidays together. And since Quinn and Sawyer are best friends, he was always invited on family outings, much to Parker's consternation. But wreaking havoc on Parker took things to a whole new level.

As they got older, it became more of a verbal sparring between Quinn and Parker. But is it really sparring or is it more foreplay? Parker will say she hates Quinn and it is sparring. But what would Quinn say?

When they both find out they are attending the same convention in Las Vegas, Parker puts Quinn in his place. But does what happens in Vegas really stay in Vegas?

Quinn decides to have lunch with a beautiful woman working the convention. He does not even know her name yet. When he finds out who she is, what will he do?

Quinn receives a mysterious message. Is this person trying to help him win over Parker? Who is this person? Can he do what is recommended?

When they start hanging out together as friends, he has hope. But Parker is not there yet. As each day of the convention progresses, they get closer to returning home. Can he convince Parker he really is in love with her? Or will the Stewarts nemesis trigger her ultimate fears and make her run?

When she returns to Skagway, she has a lot to answer for with her family.

At Gran's birthday party, Parker gets the shock of her life. Now what is she going to do? Quinn knows something is up, but she is not talking to him about it. What will be his response to her news?

Remember, what happens in Vegas does not always stay in Vegas.

This is book five in The Stewarts of Skagway series and it is Parker and Quinn’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Parker and Quinn have known each other for most of their lives because Quinn is Parker’s brother’s best friend but unfortunately Parker and Quinn constantly argue and bicker whenever they are near or in the same room as each other but Quinn has a big secret and that is he has been in love with Parker for years and feels that even though they constantly at each other throats at least he is still in her company and near her which makes him happy. Parker and Quinn are both sitting next to each other on a flight to Vegas for a convention and Parker wants Quinn to act as a stranger which really upsets him but he decides to give Parker what she wants and decided to still make sure that she was safe from a distance. The attraction and chemistry between Parker and Quinn is strong and the more time that they end up spending together it becomes harder to deny and just when they decide to take things to the next level something happens that tears them apart but there is a fine line between love and hate and sometimes what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas but what will happen when Parker and Quinn get back home will they be able to solve the situation that they find themselves in and be able to reconcile while getting the happiness and future that they both want and deserve, well you will have to read this book to find out what the outcome will be for Parker and Quinn in the end but you definitely not be disappointed. I absolutely loved this book so much and it was so addictive that I couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting because it was a real page turner that kept your attention throughout the whole book. I have read every single book in this amazing series and I have enjoyed every single one and I can’t wait to read the next book which is Reeve’s story.

It's a 4.5 stars, really close to 5.

I'll be honest: I was not expecting to like this book. I can only blame its blurb. A story about lifelong enemies who have a fling in Vegas (of all places) and then fall in love and become lovers? Ugh! So overdone! I read almost all the Stewarts' books in a row but wasn't really excited to read this one after reading that blurb. But this book was not about that at all! The blurb gave this book a huge disadvantage in my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised. I started this book like "Ok, let's just get this over with, I want to be done with this series". And by chapter 2 I was totally and irrevocably hooked! No turning back. Quinn kept me up all night. [wink, wink] Let's face it, Katy Regnery really knows how to write romance. Pretty much all the lines from Quinn just made me sigh. He was THAT adorable. And Parker is so lucky. I could not not root for these characters.
Now, there's just one thing still bugging me. As usual, I hate when a book ends leaving me with unanswered questions! In this case it was about Just something.
It's the only thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars but it is pretty close to perfect. I loved it!

What happens in Vegas...I'm not gonna lie, I may not recover from Quinn's big love and willingness to give, give, give.

Quinn's a giant marshmallow who's been in love with Parker Stewart for most of his life, but like most young boys during their formative years, he just displayed liking her in the wrong way. While he was deeply in love with her, all of his antics didn't exactly make Parker fall in love with him.  What can you say, his boyish charm, sarcastic wit, and big boisterous ways just rubbed Parker wrong one too many times and unfortunately his very presence just sets her off. Which means he doesn't even stand a chance to win her over, that is until it's the two of them on a Vegas trip and everything that was too big, too loud, or just too Quinn begins to be just right.

As for Parker she was a tougher pill to swallow, but she was also relatable. I could totally understand how a person can grow on you. I vividly recall people, especially boys, maturing out of their juvenile ways and finding a friendship or kinship as we've aged, where I never would have passed them a glance when we were younger. Parker is also a thinker, slow to warm and with someone like Quinn who is loud and direct, she needs that space to reflect. Even with a man she's known her entire life. These two are a slower burn, but once Parker lets down her walls, she lets the floodgates open wide. Like the rest of her family she loves big and I truly love that about every Stewart.

Once again, I really enjoyed how the entire Stewart family was closely entwined within this book. Even when the plot was happening thousands of miles away, each sibling wasn't far away.  Another wonderful book!

"Parker" by Katy Regnery is a heartwarming addition to the Stewarts of Skagway series, focusing on the complex relationship between Parker Stewart and Quinn Morgan. Parker, who grew up being teased and tormented by Quinn and her brother, has long held a grudge. However, when fate brings the two together at a travel convention in Vegas, the story takes a charming turn.

Quinn has secretly loved Parker since they were eleven, and as they reconnect, Parker begins to see Quinn in a new light. Their growing romance is beautifully written, filled with tender moments, forgiveness, and the challenge of rebuilding trust after years of misunderstandings.

Regnery does a wonderful job of developing Quinn’s character, allowing the reader to empathize with his long-hidden feelings, while Parker’s journey toward forgiveness feels authentic. The Vegas setting adds a fun backdrop to the evolution of their relationship.

Fans of the series will especially appreciate the glimpses of the Stewart siblings' close-knit family dynamics, which have been a highlight throughout the books. The teaser for the upcoming novella "Reeve" promises even more emotional depth, with extended epilogues for all the Stewart siblings—a treat for devoted readers!

Overall, "Parker" is a delightful read with the perfect balance of romance, personal growth, and family ties. I highly recommend this series for anyone looking for heartfelt contemporary romance with endearing characters.

Special thanks to the author for providing an advance copy of "Parker". All thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.

I loved the story of Quinn and Parker, the fifth book in the Stewarts of Skagway series. He’s Parker Stewart’s brother’s best friend and has been around the family for years. The two played some quite horrible pranks on her as they grew up and Parker has always despised Quinn. Quinn on the other hand has been in love with Parker since he was in fifth grade. When they find themselves headed to Vegas for a travel conference, what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there.

Katy Regnery created a wild and wonderful family with the Stewarts, and I’ve adored each sibling’s story. I was captivated from the beginning of this book and couldn’t put this book down. I wanted to hug Quinn through most of this story, his unrequited love for Parker was sweet, and charming, and melted my heart. He is the definition of a cinnamon roll hero, complete with an amiable personality and the loyalty of a golden retriever. I wanted to tell Parker to open her eyes, but thank goodness for her older sister, Harper. I loved watching Parker open her mind and heart. She is fierce and indomitable, and owned up to her mistakes and I really liked her more and more as the story progressed. I love this family and am looking forward to Reeve’s book, but not the end of this series. This is a standalone, but read all of them to get to know all of the Stewarts.

PARKER: The Stewarts of Skagway, Alaska #5 by Katy Regnery, an enemy to a pair of lovebirds, kinda sort of story. Quinn Morgan has been the best friends with Sawyer Stewart since they were toddlers. Sawyer's sister: Parker Stewart, had been teased and picked on as long as those two had been friends. She'd been tormented enough for a lifetime and even as an adult hated them both, especially Quinn. My mother use to tell me that if a boy picked on you when you were a young girl, it's because he really likes you. Well, Parker didn't see it that way either. They were all now adults and what were the chances of Quinn and Sawyer both traveling on the same plane to go to Los Vegas to represent their family's business at a convention. Quinn wanted to sit next to Parker, but her not so much. The flight attendant liked Quinn and switched seats for him to be by Parker. He tried to be nice and flirty, but she was awful. I got tired of her acting so snotty, and the other passengers did too. I thought she would never realize what she was missing out on, until she saw how many other girls were interested in Quinn that she started to wake up. Even then she threw a gift he bought her in his face! Then just when I was pretty sure they'd be a couple, what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas! Trouble in paradise!

QUINN FALLS HARD FIRST, AND PURSUES HIS GIRL!

Quinn Morgan has antagonized Parker Stewart all her life. Being best friends with her brother Sawyer, he always seemed to be around to make her life miserable with pranks and relentless teasing. Now that they are both in Las Vegas for a Travel Conference, Parker makes him promise to stay away from her like they are perfect strangers.

Parker begins to see a different side of Quinn, he is very different when he is not paired up with Sawyer. They say (and so does Harper) that there is a very thin line between hate and love and Parker begins to see and realize that. She begins to like this Quinn and he is very anxious to show his true feelings. I loved their verbal sparring, and the overall chemistry they had together. Everyone else could see and feel it except them! The Jones's really brought them together in a unified front (Skylab and Rick were both such slimeballs!)

I love this family and how close they all are and how they are all there for each other. Its been wonderful seeing them all find their someone special and catching up with each one of them in each new book! I'm sad to see Reeve's book is the last but still hoping we may get a little more from them! I love the Stewarts of Skagway!

Parker by Katy Regnery is the fifth book in the series called The Stewarts of Skagway. In each book we have met another one of the Stewarts. They run all sorts of travel adventures out of Skagway as their family business. This novel focuses on Parker as the next to youngest daughter. As always, books in this series can be read as stand-alones.

Parker is off to Las Vegas for a week. She is representing the family business at a huge convention. This is one way her family connects with the local tourist agencies who plan trips for their clients. She is disturbed to realize that Quinn, the brother’s best friend and her nemesis is also at the same convention for his family’s business as well. What she doesn’t realize is that Quinn has some strong feelings for her. Feelings that come out when they spend time together in Las Vegas. They certainly enjoy themselves even while they are figuring out their story.

I do like the enemies to lovers genre and enjoyed the novel. Parker’s need to double think everything did get a little exhausting, but it made me like her more when she was able to understand that there is not a lot of room between love and hate. Katy Regnery continues to find ways to write entertaining books with interesting characters. Parker is a great read.

4 ½ Stars for this sweet romance

This is my favorite book of this series! I loved Parker and Quinn. The snarky banter between them is hilarious. I loved how at the beginning Parker saw Quinn's eyes as swamp water green ... but then they turned to emerald ... lol! This book had me laughing-out-loud one minute and swooning the next. This is a great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next book.

Parker and Quinn have known each other forever ... and have hated each other forever. Quinn, along with Parker's brother, has been constantly teasing, pranking and tormenting Parker all her life. But Parker can give it as good as she gets it. When Parker and Quinn end up together at a conference in Las Vegas, Parker proposes that they pretend they don't know each other, so she can attend the conference in peace. Quinn has been in love with Parker since the fifth grade and he's taking this cease fire as an opportunity to show Parker that he can be someone she maybe wants to be with. But what happens in Vegas, doesn't always stay in Vegas.

I am normally not a reader of YA/NA romance, but I have been a fan of The Stewarts of Skagway series and was very curious about the backstory between sharp and focused Parker Stewart and loud and obnoxious Quinn Morgan. Parker has known Quinn all of her life. She's 22 and he's her younger brother's best friend. Quinn and Sawyer spent the majority of their youth teasing Parker and she may love her brother but she loathes Quinn. Now Parker and Quinn are both heading to Las Vegas for a tourism conference and she plans to avoid him like the plague. Quinn hopes that this week away from Alaska will allow Parker to get to know the real "Quinn" because he's been in love with her for the majority of his life and she can't stand being around him. Parker is loaded with young love angst. It was frustratingly sweet because these two are perfect for each other but they both need to be their real selves and mature into adulthood. And we all know that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...or does it? Katy Regnery wrote a fun story that had plenty of laughs, heart and heat! Parker was told from dual POV and stands alone in the series but I recommend reading those as well.

I have read all the books in the Stewarts of Skagway series and this one is a great addition! Had a great plot and overall tied in nicely to the previous books.

This book followed Parker and Quinn who you meet in earlier books. Quinn has been in love with Parker for years however Parker cannot stand Quinn. It has a lot to do with all the pranks and teasing that Quinn and Sawyer (Parker's brother and Quinn's best friend) played on Parker as she was growing up. Some of them just got to be mean and she has never forgiven him or trusted him since. When both end up in Vegas for a travel conference to promote their businesses, Quinn wants to try to show Parker a different side of himself. While this seems to be working for the first few days, they get sabotaged by another travel outfit that has repercussions to their businesses. Parker freaks out and runs away.
Now Quinn doesn't know if he still stands a chance but he doesn't want anyone else. Parker needs to learn to trust again especially since she has developed feelings for Quinn. Plus there are a few fun surprises along the way!

Overall a fun romantic read. Enemies to lovers trope.

Another great story with the Stewarts of Skagway! Parker Stewart ends up at a travel conference in Las Vegas with Quinn Morgan (her brother Sawyer's best friend), who she's been teased by and verbally sparring with since she was a little girl. It doesn't seem like anything is going to change any time soon, even as they board the plane to Las Vegas and propose a cease fire of sorts, planning to act as if they have never met. Ms. Regnery uses her terrific imagination to find ways for Parker and Quinn to cross paths at the conference, including the aggravation brought on by some of their travel company competition. Not all of the drama stayed in Vegas, and the second part of the story takes place back in Skagway, with the rest of the charming Stewart family. I thoroughly enjoyed the bickering, the banter, and the emotional highs and lows, which Ms. Regnery writes so believably. Parker and Quinn achieved their HEA, but it wasn't easy, and I enjoyed reading every moment.

I was given an ARC of this novel and asked to write a review, which I was happy to do.

My goodness, Katy writes good stories! This one did not have the same interesting descriptions of the town, area and wildlife - well apart from turtles. In Alaska - who knew! The story and back story made up for that. Vegas almost sounded good too but the phenomenon that is Red Rock was well described. This story though was a deep introspection on two young lovers. Shades of Romeo & Juliet, well almost, but fear not there was an HEA. Katy's heroes are so well described, with hidden depths making for a very interesting tale. Thought Joe would be hard to beat but Quinn may possibly be my favourite now. Bring on Aaron!

absolutely adored this enemies to lovers love story!! Parker hated Quinn for the majority of her life until they both end up in Las Vegas!! Quinn finally finds a way to get Parker to look at him different and the love story begins!! Many road blocks happen but in the end, true love prevails!! Grab your copy and enjoy this beautiful love story and the journey they make to get to that HEA!!

The main characters in this romance and their emotions feel very authentic. When Parker was growing up, one of her brothers and his best friend (Quinn) would prank and tease her mercilessly. Parker is now in her early 20s, and still holds a grudge for those years. She never knew that Quinn was actually crushing on her as they grew up. Parker and Quinn find themselves attending the same travel convention in Las Vegas, representing their family’s tourism businesses. This book has an enemies-to-lovers trope that travels from that Las Vegas convention back to the characters’ real-life in Skagway. I enjoyed the Alaskan lifestyle and tourism industry references. This book has good supporting characters, lots of banter, some adult heat and youthful forever-love. I downgraded one star because Parker isn’t always likeable and does show her immaturity. I received an advance copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Parker and Quinn have known each other for years, he's her brother's best friend. Trouble is he's loud and obnoxious and when he's with her brother, which is very often, her brother behaves differently.
Parker is now going to Las Vegas for a conference, she's hoping that Quinn isn't going too, except when she gets on the plane she hears his very loud voice calling her. Things get worse before she tells him to leave her alone and pretend they don't know each other!

Poor Quinn has loved her for years, he's been trying to attract her attention, thinking any attention is better than nothing! He was an only child and loved being with her family, there were so many of them, it was loud and happy, something he really looked forward to.

On arriving in Vegas Parker realises that she misses Quinn teasing and sparring with her.
Can they sort themselves out?

A great read in the series from Kate

Parker is my absolute fav read in the Stewarts of Skagway Series so far.
Parker and Quinn know each other since childhood. Quinn is Parker's brother's best friend and the bane of her existence.
When they're attending a convention in Las Vegas, they're becoming close. Yay sign me up for the trope.
A fantastic, wonderful, literally unputdownable read, 5 stars.
Blurb: Parker Stewart’s brother has been best friends with Quinn Morgan for as long as she can remember, which is approximately how long he’s been a thorn in her side. From teasing her when they were kids to ruining her dating a boy in middle school, Quinn has done everything possible to make Parker hate his guts. But underneath his gruff exterior, Quinn’s always had a soft spot for sharp, pretty Parker, and smarted from her total lack of interest in him. When Parker and Quinn find themselves in Vegas for a long weekend, will these dyed-in-the-wool enemies find a pathway to friendship?

Katy Regnery explores the fine line between love and hate in this well-written, intense and engaging fifth book in her Stewarts of Skagway series.

Quinn Morgan is a cinnamon roll hero who hides his feelings behind a gruff, loud exterior while Parker Stewart is the typical middle child who has worked hard to establish her place in her large family. She has been on the receiving end of a number of pranks at the hands of her brother, Sawyer, and Quinn.

While in Vegas for a conference, these two adversaries find they actually strike the right emotional sparks off each other. Quinn is deeply invested in the relationship, but Parker is hesitant.

Both Parker and Quinn get sage advice from Harper as they deal with the bumps and detours on the road to their HEA.

All the books in the series are enjoyable, but this has been my favorite.

I received an ARC from the author, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Parker and Quinn have always sparred with each other since young. Over the years, Quinn has always loved Parker but she has always hated him for his pranks.

Fate brings them together during a work trip to Las Vegas. This allows them to start afresh and Parker soon sees a different side of Quinn. Their time spent together soon reveals to Parker the truth – that Quinn has been in love with her all this while.

Though Parker initially finds the revelation hard to accept, their relationship strengthens till an incident rocks Parker to the core. Can they survive this and can Parker accept Quinn’s love?

I loved how steadfast and patient Quinn was – holding back when Parker needed space, having her back when the horrible Jones’ siblings bother her and paying her attention ever since he knew her. Harper was also the best sister ever and I loved how she helped to bring our lovely couple together!

Parker is the sister that is tough as nails she doesn't take any crap and she's also the one that gets the word out about their tourist business. When she's sent to Vegas she prays that her archnemesis will not be anywhere near her. Quinn Morgan is the bane of her existence the best friend to her brother and her tormentor just gets under her skin. Quinn knows that he pisses Parker off but he doesn't mean it to be a bad thing. He knows she will never give him a chance. He can't do anything but agree when she asks for the impossible to be strangers. What happens though when you ask for something and you start to open your eyes? Well, Parker's about to find out. Parker will fight for what's right in front of her, but Quinn's truth may set them free. I loved these two and watching them go from hate to more. However, someone is out to get them and they will have to decide what's more important.

Parker ~ The Stewarts of Skagway #5 by Katy Regnery

I am a huge fan of Katy, and I know when she releases a new book, it is going to be amazing. As with all of Katy's books, Parker has been written brilliantly. With a strong and believable storyline, the characters jump from the page and keep you engaged from start to end.

Parker has known Quinn Morgan all her life as he is friends with her brother Sawyer, and they have a love-hate relationship.
When they both end up in Las Vegas for a travel Conference, Parker sees Quinn in a new light, the question is will they be able to leave what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas? you'll need to purchase the book to find out.

I highly recommend this book to all, and it will be sad to see the end of this brilliant series when the last book is released later this year.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Easy-to-read, Happily Ever After, Inspirational, Page-turner, Realistic, Wonderful characters
