A collection of articles from a large pool of personality theorists. While it may be helpful to read the words of all these theorists in their own words than reading a textbook, the articles can only serve as a brief sketch to their theories.

You should probably skip this book unless you really want to get a taste of the theorists not covered in the textbook. Instead, I suggest picking a few theorists you are most interested in and then go for their book or articles elsewhere , like Skinner's short book,"Beyond Freedom and Dignity"*, or the first few chapters of Rogers' "Becoming a Person"**.

Compliments textbooks with actual research by many great psychologists and philosophers of the era.

May be monotonous if one has no desire, otherwise, insightful, and an interesting depiction of the great authors mindsets, and theoretical hypothesis’s
