After eight years in witness protection, EMT Emma Hayes thought she and her family were safe in rural Montana…until their identities are compromised and she’s nearly abducted. She’s rescued by her coworker, paramedic Cole Webb, who vows to do whatever he can to protect her. Together, they must outrun the vicious criminals on their trail while searching for Emma’s younger brother, who’s put himself in the kidnappers’ crosshairs as well. But when danger follows them to Cole’s family ranch, their race to thwart the ruthless gang after them could be lethal.

Big Sky First Responders
Book 1: Deadly Ranch Hideout Book 2: Witness Protection Ambush
My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Witness Protection Ambush. This is book two in the series Big Sky Responders. I enjoy Jenna's books and I'm always glad to receive one in the mail. This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of drama. I know you are going to love it.
EMT Emma Hayes is actually in Witness Protection. She is on the road to her other job when she comes upon a one car accident. She called in the accident. The car was empty. Two men walked up to her from behind the trees. They were carrying guns. It was a staged accident. They called her by her right name. They had found her. She ran! They were shooting at her!
Paramedic Cole Webb just finished a fifteen hour shift. No one had heard from Emma so he told dispatch he would check on her. When he arrived there was no Emma or driver of the car. Cole found her radio across the road. Something was very wrong. He called for backup. He followed footprints up the hill. He had to protect her.
An incredible journey to save Emma from the killers. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.
I liked the characters and the whole plot line in this story. Cole was kind and thoughtful and his family is helpful and caring. I liked that Emma was small but strong and determined and wanted to change the lack of relationship with her brother.
A bit too wordy in the thoughts inside the characters heads. I really just kinda skimmed over all that. Otherwise the initial story line was really good.
I love this series. It was nice to return to Montana. This book has a lot of suspense, the story line kept my interest. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.
