Seducing Kate
It was lust at first sight for Kyle when he met his roommate Justin’s mother Kate. Kyle, a college transfer, was too far from home to visit on short school breaks, so Justin took him to Minneapolis where his mother was serving up a family meal for Thanksgiving.
One look left Kyle with a healthy obsession for Kate which grew with each visit. When he landed an internship in Minneapolis, he moved in with Kate for the summer, and got in touch with his voyeuristic side. It wasn’t until one late evening and a few too many glasses of wine that Kyle began to suspect his attraction wasn’t one-sided.

I thought this was something it's not from the blurb so I was a bit surprised by it all. I suspect if I'd seen this hinted at somewhere I'd have known to pass this one by. There was nothing wrong with it, it's just not my normal style at all. If I'm reading erotica I want it short and wham bam. This was quite a long story for what it is and it felt mostly as if I was reading a teenage boy's fantasy. . . which it pretty much was. The graduate but uber XXX It was well written and the grammar and editing were good.

Kyle is going home with his friend, Justin, for Thanksgiving. That is when he meets Kate. He falls in lust for his best friends mom, and obsesses with having her in his bed. He then gets an internship in the same town that Kate lives in, and moves in with her for the summer.
That my friends is where things get steamy. Justin continues to have all these thoughts about Kate that just won't stop. Kate breaks up with her loser boyfriend, and Justin manages to set up a great scene with some wine to try to start a completely inappropriate affair with his best friends mom. He thinks he has messed up and thinks he needs to do something to fix things between Kate and him. Then all of a sudden she turns the tables and goes after him. The affair lasts the rest of the summer. At one point you wonder how exactly Justin doesn't find out, but maybe ignorance is bliss?
This is a great book with some very steamy scenes that the writer manages to portray very well. I completely recommend this book to those looking for a book on the wild side!

I really, reallllly enjoyed this book and could not put it down. It was extremely sexy and sensual with a very believable story line. Kyle is a handsome young man, who's getting ready to graduate college.When he goes home with his room mate Justin and meets his mother Kate. . . Both Kyle and Kate's worlds are turned upside down. And inside out...and in...and out...and in...See what I did there? *snerk*
While indeed their romance doesn't begin straight away because Kate is in a relationship with a deadbeat guy, his fantasies about him and her are pretty hot and keep us reading more. Impatiently flipping pages to get to when they finally do end up with each other.
...and when they do, it's sooooo HOT.
I know some people may have a huge problem with this book and think it's wrong for a woman Kate's age to fall for her son's friend, who's obviously young enough to be her own son, but hey, it's life and that happens!! We can't tell our hearts who is right and wrong for us, if it feels right, then go for it!
I did like how the author ended the book, that was very sneaky and clever =) and I'd definitely recommend this book to a friend!

Pet peeve about safe sex. She has it with the hero (Mr. Right for sex now...) but not with the guy who cheated on her? Can’t abide a silly woman. Should’ve known to stop when started out she was in an abusive relationship and giggled about it. Skipped ahead to end, she ends up with someone else and he ends up alone. From H’s POV. Blah. DNF at 25%.

You know those books that suck you into a vortex and you have no concept of time or where you are because you are so deeply immersed in the story? They come along rarely for me. But this---this had me ENRAPTURED from start to finish. When I finished I actually looked around wildly, like "Where am I?"
It's a fast paced read, made even more so by aforementioned vortex. Kyle is a college student, and spends Thanksgiving at his roommate's home with his mom, Kate. It is incredibly hot and sexy, especially as the chemistry between Kate and Kyle builds and builds (and eventually erupts ;) ). The sex scenes in this book put those in other books that I will not mention, suffice to say there are many shades, TO SHAME. Emilia Mancini knows how to draw her readers in and keep them hungry for more, and truly I could not get enough of Kate and Kyle together.
Another added bonus, this book will make you want to order pizza. It just will. Trust me.
I can't recommend this book enough--LOVED IT--from start to finish. If you want to be whisked away to a land of hot seduction, steamy sex (of all kinds!), funny dialogue, and pizza--then DOWNLOAD IMMEDIATELY!!!

I cannot believe there are not more reviews for this book. I have read LOTS of books and written a lot of reviews for Amazon and I cannot believe more folks aren't talking about this book. This is my 1st time reading "Mancini"(the author) and I really liked it. It was recommended by a Book Buddy of mine from Chicago, Nicole, and I am really glad she did. After reading some more serious novels with some "deep" storylines I LONGED for a story like this. Now I won't say this book necessarily had a HEA(Happily Ever After) BUT I would say that it was a satisfying ending and it made me giggle/smile. I really liked the Male Lead, Kyle. The main female lead was "right on" my idol for an older woman!!! Loved her attitude, loved how even though she had had her share of loosers - in the end she fun and then finally found what she needed. I would recommend this book to ANYONE that would like a read that isn't too long and is just a good "love/sex" story about a college dude and his roomates mom. It is HAWT and yet tasteful...my friend and I were going back and forth on who our "Kyle" would look like...I said "Matt Lanter" for me...Good Book!

This book was a lot different than I thought it would be and I blame that on the book description, which wasn't detailed enough. I really enjoy the older women/younger men type of books, especially since they always seem to overcome their obstacles and end up happily ever after. This book wasn't like that at all! Kate (the older woman) was the type of female character I DON'T like - rough around the edges with a potty mouth. Kate dressed provocatively on purpose to tempt her son's roommate, Justin, and had loud sex in places she knew Justin would either hear or (she hoped) watch. Her best friend was also her f**k buddy, for the times when both women didn't have boyfriends and needed sex. (huh?!!!) Of course it was no problem for those two women to entice Justin into a threesome since they were all so sexually open! At the end they all went their separate ways and chalked it up to a really good time. Yuck!!

I regret deeply reading this book. I don't mind reading romance books with some sex scenes, but this book is just ridiculous. Is only sex. The entire book is one sex scene after the other. Forget about romance or a story really. Is all sex. Sorry, but when I read a book I expect more than just sex scenes. And when I bought the book it didn't say anything about f/f/m and for my full surprise there it was. Don't even get me going about the end of the book. This book is just a waste. If all you looking in a book is reading about sex then this book is for you. Sadly I want more from my books.

This is a very good book. I could not put it down. Very steamy. I liked the storyline and the characters. I was a little sad about the ending. I wish this book was longer and I hope this is a series. I would love to read a sequel. I pictured Kyle as Grant Gustin from The Flash.

This was such a HOT book!! Kyle is friends with Kate's son. These two have a short fling, but it was so hot!! My e-reader was burning up. I will definitely be reading more by Emilia!!

This was a re-read and I like it just as much as the first time. It’s a forbidden , older woman ( best friend’s mom) romance. Strong 4.5 Stars
