She provides an overview of the theoretical concepts underpinning practice in applied drama and theatre and examines a range of practices in the light of contemporary theoretical and political concerns. There are insights about how theatre / drama can be applied on a broader level to different cultures so that the quality of life can be enhances or how drama can touch certain aspects of people to bring a change in their lives.

There are theories and aspects which are told through which usefulness and limitations of applied drama to a larger scale i.e. global scale is acknowledged.

Hellishly boring. How it was accepted for publishing is beyond me. Terrible. Avoid.
