Creation Restored: The Gospel According to Genesis - Member Book is a 7 session young adult Bible study on Genesis. Abraham, Jacob, and Joseph. As the main characters in the Book of Genesis, many of us have been hearing stories about these men ever since we were children. The problem is, such stories are usually broken up into isolated fragments: Abraham on Mount Moriah, Jacob wrestling with God, Joseph and his many-colored coat. When we dig deeper, we see that these men are part of a single, seamless story―one that stretches from the first page of the Bible to the last.
Join authors Matt Carter and Halim Suh as they examine Genesis 12-50 and explore how the early portions of the Bible foreshadow the gospel of Jesus Christ ― the good news of salvation and redemption that we find only in relationship with Him. Matt Carter serves as the Pastor of Preaching and Vision at the Austin Stone Community Church in Austin, Texas, which has grown from a core team of fifteen to more than eight-thousand attending each Sunday since he planted it in 2002. Matt has co-authored multiple books including a commentary on the Gospel of John in The Christ-Centered Exposition Commentary series and two group studies, Creation Unraveled and Creation Restored, which traced the gospel message through the book of Genesis. He holds an M.Div. from Southwestern Seminary and a Doctorate in Expositional Preaching from Southeastern Seminary. He and his wife Jennifer have been married for more than twenty years, and they have three children, John Daniel, Annie, and Samuel.

A great, brief look at some of the main characters in the book of Genesis and the history of the church. Matt & Halim clearly and concisely explain how Jesus was part of the story long before he became a man and how Abraham, Jacob, Isaac and Joseph have left examples for us to follow (or not follow) in our lives.
