From the irresistible pairing of Tim Healey and Chris Mould, comes Mortimer Keene: a wickedly funny new series. BEWARE! Mortimer's crazy ideas could rub off on you!
Mortimer Keene is full to bursting with madcap plans, and if it's trouble you're after, look no further! With laugh out loud illustrations and short chapters perfect for new readers, this second book in the series sees Mortimer Keene and his phantom machine up to no good again!
When the school is overrun with ghosts and ghouls from the past, it's up to Mortimer Keene to blast them back in time and save the school.
Written by Tim Healey and illustrated by Chris Mould, this is a wickedly funny new series. Other titles include: Attack of the Slime and Alien Abduction. If you like Horrid Henry, you'll love Mortimer Keene!
I like the story because I love ghosts and I love the machine he made because he works in the science lab and I really want to learn science and I like about the story the machine that made loads of ghosts and the machine was called more Phantom machine
A children's book about slime is a pretty reliable bet for my enjoyment, but I wasn't quite so optimistic about Ghosts on the Loose. However, it was a hoot! Have to say, Mortimer's a bright lad and can bring things from the past but he's not much cop at predicting the future, even though he does (obviously) save the day in the end.
In this story from the Mortimer Keene Series, there are ghosts / phantoms on loose in the school from a Phantom Machine created by Mortimer Keene. He says they are actually spacetime projections. Very amusing story, just as much fun as the one about slime - there is just one more in the series I am yet to read which is the Alien Abduction.
I'd say it was good. Very good arts there, actually. But there was something missing. At first it was hard to read because like there was just hard to understand.
