I found the 1st installment while reading a compilation of alpha male stories and I was super stoked to see that the next installment was available. I sat down that day and read it in its entirety. This story of Leo and Anya keeps you going right until the last page. This story has it all – romance, hot and steamy love scenes, and suspense, and the ability to wrap me up in the story so much that I found myself yelling at the pages  This proved to be a quick, but enjoyable read, and I can not wait until part 3 is out 

I would definitely recommend this book as well as the entire His Golden Cuffs series.

This book was the 2nd in a 3-part series. I really like the concept of the story. It is filled with misunderstandings, omissions and angst galore. I was brought to tears more than once. The sex scenes were hot.

Anya is a strong, independent woman who is trying to take care of her family. She is forced into a marriage of convenience in order to make that happen. It just so happens that the man she married is the man she has been in love with for a long time. Anya is just trying to survive and make the best of a situation that she knows will leave her broken in the end. But she is determined to enjoy being in the arms of the man she loves for as long as she can.

I'm not sure how I feel about Leo. He definitely wants Anya, but I'm not convinced that he loves her. I know there are some people who will always assume the worst in people, but I tend to be the kind of person who believes that if you are truly in love with another person, you will at least give them the benefit of the doubt and I don't see Leo doing that for Anya. While he is an extremely attentive lover who pays attention to every minute detail when it comes to Anya, he has obviously been hurt by something. I hope we get to learn a little about that in the next installment. We need to know more about why he believes Anya is guilty of embezzlement.

I am hooked on this story and cannot wait for the next book. I need to see how these issues are resolved. Will there be a Miranda reveal. Will we see more of Brian and will he help lead Leo to the truth? What about Anya's father? Will Robb and Vicki finally learn the truth? What will be the resolution and the fallout when all is revealed? I cannot wait until the next book is released.

This is the 2nd in a 3 part series. And I do have to say I was slightly disappointed. It felt like I'd waited forever to read this, after originally reading part 1 within a box set in 12/2013.

There were a number of typos and grammatical errors, which as anyone who reads my reviews know infuriates the hell out of me.

Part 1 started in spectacular fashion, and I felt this just fell a bit flat in places. Anya initially came across as a really strong person, and in some aspects she did continue being strong, however in others she appeared to lose strength and come across as weak. As for Leo, I felt he was a bit blah tbh. In part 1 I didn't particularly like him, which I think was the authors intention at that point, then here we find out a bit more. For someone who is a supposed Dom, he should be able to read signals and actions etc, however he was always very quick to jump to conclusions. I know that all adds to the angst of Anya's situation, but to me it made Leo into a weaker character than what he should have been portrayed as. As for Anyas father George, well he's just a bastard through and through with no redeeming qualities at all, so he's consistent throughout.

All in all it's a good read, and I will continue to read more by this author.

It is now time for their sham wedding and Anya relizes just how much of herself she is going to lose if she truely submits to Leo. As they start their year long commitment Anya gives into the hope that Leo will one day believe the she never embezzled the money and the he truely trusts her, but as time passes will all her hopes be shattered.

You see just how much this hurts Anya to be giving in like she is, but you see her strength and willingness to to anything for her family. And in seeing her do the you see how strong she really is. Leo is an ass the has her heart and he keeps crushing it. I'm just hoping he'll eventually be worthy of her.

Totally Disappointed!

I was expecting this to be the completion of the story! I now have to wait for the rest of the story in the next book!! I have read many many books that are part of a series but I have never ever seen a series that has books that stop in the middle of a story and call themselves a complete book instead of what they actually are, which is a novella!!! Extremely disappointing! Maybe Flora Dare should read a few of the true books of a series as written by the fantastic author NORA ROBERTS!!!
