I love books. Not just a little bit, but a lot. Books were my best friends when I was growing up. Books didn’t care if I was new to a town or to a class. They were always there, my trustiest of companions. Until they turned on me and said I had to write them.

I can tell you that my own personal happily ever after included writing books. I’ve always said that an HEA is a work in progress. It’s true in my marriage, my friendships, and in my career. I am constantly nurturing my muse as we dive into new tales, new tropes, new characters and more.

After seventeen years back in Texas, we relocated to the Pacific Northwest in search of seasons, new experiences, and new geography. I can’t wait to discover what life (and my muse) have in store for me.

Maybe writing was always my destiny and romance my fate. After all, my grandmother wasn’t a fan of picture books and used to read me her Harlequin Romance novels.

Friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, friends to enemies to lovers, you name it, I love them and love to write them. I started with Earth Witches Aren’t Easy, the first in the Chance Monroe trilogy, but my characters and I have traveled a long way since I created that urban fantasy world.

One of the series I hear my readers recommend the most is the Untouchable series followed in quick succession by the Vandals, and that just delights me. No lie, whenever one of my readers brings up my wolves, I do a little a fist pump.

I’m active on social media, and I love hearing from readers. Feel free to tag me with a question about any of my books, or just say hi!

Um. Yeah. I have to say I was a little underwhelmed.

This started off strong. Don’t get me wrong. There were so many players still left in place, so much tension, and I knew the vandals would be more involved.
I don’t know when it went downhill specifically..

I think it has something to do with the fact that all of these people. King, Harper Reed, Wallace Graham. They were all built up to be these powerful, unapproachable, not to mention dangerous people in not only this book series, but in the vandal series as well (more specifically King in this instance)
And this series has spent five books talking about how they were up to their necks in trouble with these people.
And yet, when it was time to deal with all of them, it was like they just went from door to door, rang the doorbell, and executed them.

I get that Andrea being taken was a big deal, and made for a good plot. But it did not have to take two full books. Especially considering she was basically fine when they found her, and we weren’t a part of her healing journey at all.
We were told she went to therapy, but we got absolutely no insight into what had been going on during the time she was taken.
It wasn’t like they had a lot of intel about what was being done to her before they found her. They were pretty much stumbling around in the dark actually.
Bodhi finding his own brother has also been a side plot for several books, and we got like, three pages of them actually talking.
And then it’s Emerson and Milo’s brother Theo. Why was he even a part of anything? There was never any indication previously that they had another sibling, but when it was brought up that King had another child I thought it would be important in some way.
Turned out he was only there for a few pages, mouthing off to Milo (which he didn’t deserve because of how difficult it was for him to connect with Emerson/Ivy), and then we hear that Theo wanted to go live with Emerson and the Vandals, but we won’t get to see any of that, because that series is already finished.

I was so happy when I found out Margareta was Lainey’s grandmother. And then thoroughly disappointed when we didn’t get to see them explore that relationship AT ALL. Literally not even a conversation about it.

It was also just the ending of the book.
It was just a summary of how everything came together, rather than actually showing it in present time.
Does that make sense?
I am under the belief that a book is better when the author shows, instead of tells.
And, at the end of the summary everything was wrapped up in a nice little bow, but it wasn’t so satisfying.

I could go on about everything I liked in the book, but the truth is that it’s quite simple. The things I liked in the previous books regarding build up and the relationships were all done great. And I loved these characters and are very emotionally invested, which is why, despite not liking it as much as I wished, I can’t bring myself to rate it lower.

Do you ever read a book and then think to yourself, “I’d do anything to read this series for the first time again”? That’s what this book did to me. I have loved these characters since Savage Vandal and I’m heartbroken to reach the end of their journey. That being said, this book was fantastic and everything I hoped it would be. This was the 6th and final book in the Bay Ridge Royals series and it was just as action packed as the other books and we are finally able to see some retribution. As always the character development and world building was impeccable and the storytelling was fantastic. I absolutely loved the evolution of the friendships between the guys (in both the Bay Ridge Royals and the Vandals), and the growth in their relationships with Lainey. I will never get over how exceptional Heather is at making sure all of the loose ends are tied up and questions are answered at the end of her series. It never feels rushed or incomplete and I absolutely adore her for that. I can not wait to see what she comes out with next but I know these characters are going to stick with me!

Epic Ending! ⭐️
Wow Lainey B!! 🥰 she’s the girl you want in your corner when things need to be done! She really comes into her own in this one in terms of protecting her men and the family she has created around herself ☺️ I love how Heather has tied everything up, all questions raised throughout the series have been addressed… not always in a nice neat bow and definitely some are shocking surprises but it’s all dealt with 😄 the relationships between her men really become apparent in this book as they begin to pull together and build a sense of kinship between them outside of Lainey - they absolutely look out for each other 🙈 l really liked how Heather drew the Vandals in as well and the connection between them all 🥰 this was such a winning end to this series for Lainey and her men!!

All wrapped up but sad it's over

What a great ending! I loved that not only did it all work out but it was wrapped up nicely. All of the bad guys were handled, people saved, surprise ties came to light. But my favorite part was how alk the worlds tied together and the Vandals and Lainey and her men formed one giant family. My absolutely favorite scene was between Bodhi and Freddie. It brought both tears and a smile to my face.

This story was intriguing from the start but it was nice to see it come full circle and to see them get their HEA.

The End 😭

This the 6th and final book of Heather Long’s Bay Ridge Royals series. Lainey and her men take down all the big bad guys and finally get to enjoy their families and lives. This is a must read series.

The long awaited conclusion is here and it is phenomenal. Lainey is a fierce lioness that takes no crap from her enemies and they found out fast. I loved the commitment toward each other in the group grow. Watching Erza and Adam grow closer in their relationship was heartwarming and so hot. It was nice seeing Em and her Vandals.

There is the secrets, confessions, unexpected betrayals, daring rescues and oh so steamy scenes. It was a fantastic ending for an extraordinary series.

This entire series was TOP TIER 🥰🥰🥰

I absolutely fell in love with these characters all the way back in the vandals & their books did not disappoint. This is going to give me a huge book hangover.

Throughout the series they faced so many enemies: Adam’s father, Ezra’s father, the king, waldemar, the people who took Andrea. They eliminated all of their enemies one by one strategically & in the end realised they had more allies than they thought - particularly Waldemar being lainey’s grandmother.

The way that Heather tied Andrea and her boys (because yes there better be a series for Andrea and her boys) together was phenomenal - through the “network” of child traffickers that all of the rich in the same circle used. I also now am dying for Andreas books and to find out what happened to Kostya. Heather really knows how to leave Easter eggs for another connected series!

The men in order of preference:

Bodhi - this man had me from Vandals and when he “took” the kill for em so she didn’t need to feel guilty. He had me even further when he made it clear he’d do anything for em AND lainey. Discovering why he was in the mental health facility and that this murderous psycho man had spent his entire life looking for his brother? SWOON 🥹🥹

Milo - I knew Milo had a softer side and was just super misunderstood in vandals. He really does just want the best for everyone around him. It was really good to hear more about him in this series and to understand how he actually went to prison (Ezra setting him up)

Ezra - THE MM IN THIS SERIES IS TOPPP TIER. Possibly my favourite mm ever because it felt so believable and authentic! You really felt him & Adam trying to navigate this new development between them. Ezra was one of the best “trouble” characters I’ve ever read because you really did want to strangle him, but then you’d get his POV and understand the reasons for his actions!

Adam - while Adam is last on this list, that doesn’t mean I didn’t love him! His protectiveness of lainey and his patience with Ezra, was so attractive!

Overall this series had absolutely everything you need! Plot twists, family ties, secret society, arranged marriage, missing siblings, rich mmc’s, a psycho mmc, a network with family members ready to drop everything for them! The perfect balance of smut and plot 🫶🏻

*noting this for future use. I want an Andrea series. With Theo (Milo’s sibling) Levi (bodhi’s sibling) & kostya who is currently missing at the end of BRR.

The game is almost over. It's time to clear the board and for Queen to take King. Her Grandfather gave her the best education for survival in their world. Her men have her protection as their priority. Their allies are rallying around them. The stakes couldn't be higher. They must find and rescue Andrea. Milo, Em, and Bodhi have missing siblings. They all must be returned home even if it means burning down Eastern Europe and destroying everyone standing in their way.

I loved this conclusion. I was afraid with the complicated storyline Heather Long had woven that she would struggle to wrap it up. There were so many loose ends and I wanted it to end as it began- clever, unexpected, and elaborate. I need not have worried. The incorporation of the Vandals into the conclusion was fitting. The surprises continued until the end. All storylines were tied up but weren't overdone. There's still story to be told for many, and for others, the story is only beginning. And of course, Lainey and her men's relationships are everything a reader could want. There is appreciation, consideration, friendship, and passion. It's a great balance. I know this story started as Adam and Lainey but I'm so happy the characters took over. Milo and Bodhi were my favorites but I grew to like all of the men. Something I wasn't sure would happen. I love the partnerships and friendships they found. I love the friendship between Bodhi and Freddie, Liam and Adam, and the lifetime bestie status Em and Lainey share. I love Grandfather and am intrigued by Margareta. I love the ruthlessness of each character and that there is nothing they won't do for love. This is a family that excels in business, passion, and killing. I love that Lainey is as fierce as the men are lethal but she's also intelligent and classy. She's everything and it's no wonder the men are enthralled with her. She's the perfect match for each one. There's so much to love. I look forward to what comes next now that this series is wrapped up.

In the prologue of this book Lainey reflects on her grandfather's relationship with her grandmother and how it differs from hers but not really.

Then the book opens with Lainey on a mission to corner Tally and get the truth out of her. The venue, a woman's power breakfast, where King wouldn't be in attendance. She accomplishes that and gives Tally a warning, one she hopes Tally takes seriously.

Then we see Milo and Ivy 'Emerson', she's alone but she knew he was on his way up to see her. Bodhi was downstairs waiting for him. He was going to bring her to Bodhi's since Lainey's isn't safe at the moment. I do love Bodhi's interactions with Ivy, they have a special connection that amuses both of them and annoys Milo.

At the apartment Ezra and Adam are waiting, and Adam leaves with Bodhi. Milo and Ivy found out they are cousins to Ezra and that's something they're adjusting to. Lainey isn't back yet so they are discussing a very interesting tour stop Emerson is going to do to get to the trafficking ring.

When Lainey arrives with her bodyguard Karagiani, Ivy's reaction isn't one they expected. This is the first bomb that drops in this book.

With every chapter of this book, plans are made and executed with a certain finesse.

The relationships grow between Lainey and her guys and vice versa, and Lainey truly comes into her own.

It was great to see all of the Vandals and Ivy 'Emerson' as they play an integral part in the plans.

I couldn't put this book down, the search for Andrea is intense and they stop at nothing, and I do mean nothing to reach their goal.

While I'm sorry to see this series end, I know that Heather has many other things in the works, and I can't wait to read them.

I was so excited when I heard that The Bay Ridge Royals were getting their own series but now with Desperate Victory being the 6th and final book, I can't believe it's over. I was, and I still am, so emotionally invested in this series, that just like The Vandals, Bay Ridge has become one of my all time favourites.

When Lainey walked into the Vandals clubhouse like she owned the place, way back when, I knew this woman needed to have her own series. Her presence was far too powerful for her to be anything less than a leading lady. At home or in the boardroom, Lainey is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the people she loves safe, she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty, and she wades into society politics like a pro, taking on some pretty scary players.

The character development and group dynamic between Lainey, Milo, Adam, Ezra and Bodhi has been a thing of beauty to see over the series. The boys have gone from mistrust and resentment towards each other to... well...the absolute opposite. They are a well oiled machine and being that all 4 of them are alphas and extremely hard headed, it can't have been easy for any of them to put aside their egos. I imagine it is a very real struggle each and every day!!!! But for Lainey and her happiness, they would each do anything. You could see their natural progression unfolding nicely over the series.

I know HL has a 5 year plan (or is it more like 10-20 now???), and with a couple of little nuggets left open at the end, I would be very interested to read Andrea's story. Just saying!!!

I can't believe we are at the end! Can I be Lainey when I grow up? I have loved her development in this series and how she truly has become a queen who takes no prisoners and loves fiercely all while remaining elegant and poised. The multiple POVs show just how far all of these characters have come and although Lainey may be their centre, this is one sterling found family. Ezra was always bottom of my list but seeing his journey from Em's perspective just broke my heart as did his continued wonderment that Adam and Lainey would choose him. Adam, Bodhi and Milo are tied for first place; I just can't pick a favourite!

This definitely goes out with a bang; there is so much action and although the hunt for Andrea is the main plot there are plenty of side missions tidying up those loose ends. Having the Vandals along for the ride made it even sweeter; there were so many highlights from Freddie and Bodhi, to Liam and Adam having their heart to heart, and to Milo and Em being reunited. This shared universe never felt forced and although this may be the Bay Ridge Royals story, the crossover makes sense for what they are up against. I love any extra Liam page time and the only thing which would have made it better would have been Archie popping up!

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

I loved this series. I am both thrilled to have read the last book in it and I am totally bummed that it has ended. I adored the Vandals (series) but this one? I’d have to say it is my favorite. Hands down.

There’s no way I can tell you much without spoilers but every character had jaw-dropping moments, imho. Lainey – holy moly. I wanna be her when I grow up! She’s always been a strong character but in Desperate Victory? She just takes charge, full steam ahead! Love it! And Milo...he has a lot to deal with in this story, some of which he doesn’t even know about when the book starts. Still Team Milo here but the other “boys” have worked their way into my heart, too. Bodhi. Yeah, I want him to have my back. Any time. Anywhere. Anyhow. Adam and Ezra – it seems they are still working thru some things, even at the end of the book, but Lainey really has helped them deal with lifelong battles they have all had to face. And ALL of them had some crazy stuff to handle in this last story.

Smokin’ hawt. Intrigue until the sun came up! And love and trust with these five that warmed my heart. And we got to visit with Em and the Vandals. I’m always up for some Freddie and Rome! Lots of characters, from previous books, show up so I’d say read this story in order and read ALL of ‘em. Seriously amazing series, great “ending”, and I’d love to read about these folks in another 10 years or so. They would probably have taken over the world!

Amazing Conclusion to an incredible series

Ever since reading the last book, I have been desperate for this book and I loved every second of it, it was the perfect conclusion to a fantastic series. Twists and twists have been thrown throughout, and this book isn’t any different, I was shocked and sometimes I was buzzing that my wild guesses weren’t far off. As soon as you start reading until the very end, there’s non stop action, that keeps you hooked and unbelievably invested. I couldn’t put this book down.
From the vandals I loved Lainey, but in this series, more so this book, she absolutely shines. I love how we get to see another side to her and maybe sides we seen but just wasn’t fully exposed to. She is intelligent, loyal and compassionate with a fierce side to her, it makes her so lovable/likeable. She’s definitely became a favourite FMC after reading this book. Her men, were all different to how I first imagined them to be at the start but they’re even better. I’ve fell for each one of her guys, which I’m surprised because Pretty Boy and Bodhi have been my favourites throughout. I’ve loved seeing them come into their own individually but loved how they’ve built this strong unit for and with Lainey.

Really loved this book, and if you haven’t already then start the series. It’s amazing!

The Desperate Victory brings to an end the Bay Ridge Royals series and what an ending. I for one am definitely going to miss Lainey, Adam, Milo, Ezra, and Bodhi not to mention the 82nd Street Vandals and all the other characters that we have met since their journey has begun! Lainey and the guys have come a long way since Shamelessly Loyal and they have fought for their love and happiness. I loved every word of their journey and loved that I got to embark on all the ups and downs with them. I have to say though that their journey began before the Bay Ridge Royals series began. It started a lot further back in other series. If there are readers who want to know more about the intro to Lainey or any of the guys, I recommend reading the 82nd Street Vandals series. If you are a new reader to Heather Long I highly recommend reading Savage Vandal which is book one in the 82nd Vandal series and then reading Bay Ridge Royals or if you really want to you can just jump into Shamelessly Loyal which is book one of Bay Ridge Royal. Either way I will say that any book you read from Heather Long will be one that you will absolutely enjoy! I love all of her books that I have read, and I love that they interconnect, and you see your favorite characters pop up in other series! Happy Reading!

The absolute epic end to the Bay Ridge Royals leaves us with all the dragons slayed! Lainey B.....I see you girl! 👀 No wonder her guys couldn't take their eyes off her. Milo, Adam, Ezra and Bodhi weren't so bad themselves. She had each of them firmly locked in her orbit and with the most grace I've ever seen from a character. She's classy, smart, cunning and could absolutely survive on the streets too. She's a complete B-A!!!

Heather did such a fantastic job with these characters....as always! I loved every detail. The detail from this author is my absolute favorite thing. She's gives us the complete package in every series and this series was no different. The end still left me with some questions but it's mostly about the new characters she introduced and how they will end up fitting into this world. I hope for all our sakes, we eventually get their story because I have a feeling it will also be epic. This last book shocked me. There were times my mouth actually hung open during some of the scenes. I laughed out loud, I got upset, I cheered, and I melted. You will experience it all! Start from the beginning because you don't want to miss a moment with Lainey and her guys.

TITLE: Desperate Victory
GENRE: Dark Romance
AUTHOR: Heather Long
TROPE: Enemies-to-Lovers, Why Choose
TYPE: Series (Bay Ridge Royals Book 6)
POV: Multiple POV
MY RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5

The final installment of the Bay Ridge Royals series had the satisfying conclusion I was looking for, including vengeance, a resolution to many unanswered questions, and, of course, a good dose of spice.

I loved how Lainey's relationships solidified with Milo (Pretty Boy), Adam, Ezra & Bodhi while strengthening their bonds amongst the men as they became more comfortable with the shared relationship with Lainey.

From start to finish, Desperate Victory was a rollercoaster ride; I also appreciated that the author gave us a quick recap of where we left off at the beginning of the book, which helped me pick up the storyline quickly. While the series has concluded, there seems to be the possibility of a spin-off or novella in this world with some of the side characters if she chooses to go in that direction, which I am here for. I found Desperate Victory an enjoyable read, and I am rating it 4 / 5 stars.

Getting the bad out of the way first.
This series was kind of ridiculous. It's subtitle should be 'Grandparents are great, but the only good parent is a dead parent'. But that's okay, who needs parents when long-lost relatives are jumping out of the woodwork every five minutes? The series also relied way too much on coincidence with Lainey/Adam, Milo, and Bodhi all having . There were also some loose ends that were never tied up, and I don't get a sense that we'll see these characters again.

With all that said, I still enjoyed the hell out of this series. Lainey is a true badass without being obnoxious about it. All the guys were likeable, and I loved Adam and Ezra's relationshp with each other.
The plot was plotting like crazy and it was almost impossible to put down. I also loved all the cameors from The Vandals and Fletcher, Vienna and the guys.

Queen takes King.
Desperate victory brings a blòódy end to the tyrants that ruin lives all for power. We already read Harpers' demise, but the next few are even better. Not just the unaliving itself was masterful but the character who did it. Our Queen, Lainy B, Mayhem, is such a fitting name. She protects her Knight, Bishop, Rouke, and Castle, and they, in turn, protect her.
I expected the book to be past paced, but it's calculatively slow and matches the planning and search for everyone. The suspense is palpable and constant. I am sad to see these characters go, but Heather Long doesn't disappoint.
Trope:
Why choose. Mafia. Triggers. Secret society. Kicka$$ FMC. Possessive MMC.
Quote:
“The king is de@d,” I told her. “Long live the queen.”

“They’re right, Boo-Boo, Liam will make sure he’s pushing up daisies… I’d offer to hurry it along, but this all feels dramatic and kind of fancy.” Freddie flashed a grin at Lainey. “B@ll Cracker’s got style.”

And that’s a wrap! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

What an ending! I can’t believe it’s over and I’m secretly crying inside but what a ride too!
I loved that not only did Heather tie it all together beautifully but we really saw all of the guys and Lainey find their truths and answers. Bad guys were handled, some of these scenes were inspired can I just say! 🍬 🩸 👌
I was so here for it! We had vandals crossovers and beautiful moments between the characters. Ezra and Adam are such a beautiful thing, as is Lainey and every single one of her relationships. My favorite thing about heathers world is how it all just somehow flows seamlessly and you end up with this beautiful giant family of character’s who have gone through their own versions of hell, only to come out the other side, loved happy and with so much hope.
This story hooked me from start to finish and I truly recommend giving this a read!
Thank you for these beautiful characters Heather and never stop writing!

HOWWWWW ARE WE AT THE END *cries*

Oh my goodness this was just absolutely everything, Lainey and the guys were all tied up into a nice little bow.. that I’m not so secretly hoping gets untied one day so we can all pop back and say hello.. I’m gonna miss them okay!?

It’s not a secret that I am a huge fan of all things Heather but this series, Lainey, Adam, Ezra, Milo and Bodhi have honestly taken a top spot for me, I love them all SO much and wow what a ride we had here.

I was on the edge of my seat for the final revelations, but starting with THAT *cough* bodyguard *cough* had me SHOOOOOK. Then Heather clearly said hold up because we’re just getting started and when I tell you that gasps I gusped, phew there was a lot.

The board was cleared and family connections increased, I’m low-key wondering if we’ll pop back into this world for Andrea and co.. I mean pleaseeeee Heather!?

I love this world so much, so good seeing Em and the Vandals again, just beautiful.

I enjoyed reading Lainey and the guys. Initially I was set on Milo & Lainey, never Bodhi. But he actually really grew on me and he was one of my favourites. I did like Adam and Ezra as part of the harem but not together, I just didn’t feel the connection.
This series had so many moving parts, there were so many twists and turns that sometimes it was hard to keep up. Just as I thought I got a handle on it something else would come up. I loved seeing Em and the Vandals more in this final book. The whole gang together was so good! I love how they all have each others back and would all protect the other no questions asked. The most happens in this final book I think, players are eliminated and Andrea is thankfully home…along with some additional teenagers, are we going to see a second generation story between Andrea and Levi??
The end felt like it was slightly rushed there was major twists really towards the end and then it was all over!

This is the last book in the BRR series and it wraps everything up really well. It does leave some things open for future potential series, but Lainey’s story has a fabulous conclusion. The big mystery has a satisfying ending and the most pressing questions get answers.

The romantic relationships develop even more and the spice level is perfect 🔥 Lainey really comes into her own throughout the whole series and she really gets to shine here! I love how competent she is at taking care of herself and her loved ones, but she learns to lean on others when she needs to.

Lainey is one of my most favorite FMCs ever because she’s so confident from the beginning, and she doesn’t ever really waver. She is a champion problem solver and it’s really only other people making poor choices and getting in her way that cause problems. I’m sad that this is over but I hope we get to see more of Lainey and her guys in the future 💜

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the conclusion to this series. Oh what a perfect conclusion it is too. I don't know how to review this book. I think I have typed five sentences and erased all of them. This is where all the stories going on in this series get wrapped up. Where you get the answers to any questions you might have had. There all here just waiting for you to pick them up and dive in. Lainey, Milo, Bodhi, Adam, Ezra. Filled with moments that will melt your heart and some that will melt the very Kindle you are holding this book is good. So so good. If you haven't started this series then you are missing some really good reading. If you are to this last book, get comfy, dive in and enjoy the perfection this conclusion is.

The board has been cleared, and Lainey is the Queen!

I have loved this series from start to finish. Desperate Victory was the perfect ending to the Bay RidgeRoyals series and offered even more closure to the 82nd Street Vandals series. I am always excited to see previous characters return, but I am especially thrilled to see Em and the Vandals here.

Adam, Ezra, Bohdi, and Milo love Lainey and will destroy anyone who threatens her...if she doesn't destroy them first. Lainey is just as protective of her men and her best friend Emersyn. You see her strength and determination more than ever in the conclusion of their battle with King and the other wealthy families. For a group with so many opposing personalities, they work perfectly together. It is undeniable that they will accomplish great things together.

This series has been a wild ride and I’ve loved every second. There are so many twists and turns, wtf moments, and so much love. I adored seeing the Vandals get involved to help Lainey and her guys. The ending is perfection, all the questions answered and everything wrapped up nicely. Lainey has really come into her own, she’s amazing. Classy, sassy, sexy, she is the complete amazing package. These boys are lucky she even gives them the time of day, and they are all very aware of that. They are so possessive and protective, they let Lainey fly free but always have her back. I’ve loved the journey we’ve seen Bodhi on, all the way from the institute with Emerson until now. Heather Long is one of my favorite authors, and the in between drama, quiet every day moments she gives us are the #1 reason.

The long awaited conclusion to the Bay Ridge Royals is finally here! Let me tell you, I am not ready to say goodbye to this series or these characters yet. I'm so emotionally invested and this ending is truly bittersweet.

I can't say much as it will reveal massive spoilers for the series, but we finally have pieces moving around the board, and answers revealed. Lainey and her men take down key players and pave their way to their own happiness. I loved the cameos from our favorite Vandals. One of my absolute favorite aspects of this story was seeing the relationship between Adam + Ezra grow into more. Those two own my entire heart, and I will never get enough of them.

If you were a fan of the Untouchables or Vandals, definitely pick up the Bay Ridge Royals. I absolutely love this entire universe and I can't wait for what's to come!

5 ⭐ 4 🌶

Excuse me while I sob 😭 I can't believe this series is over. I've been dying for Lainey, Adam, Ezra and Milo for what feels like a dozen books and it was so worth the wait. Bodhi surprised me, but what a surprise it was. That man can tie me up any day of the week.

I felt like we had multiple third acts as the revenge list got checked off one by one. And just when I thought we were settling into the end Heather went and hit us with a one two punch and about knocked me on my butt. This story was beyond perfect.

Now I sit back and wait for Doc's friends in her new series and pray to the book gods we see these characters again, some in there own stories *cough cough* Tally and Andrea and her boys *cough cough*

This series seems to have gone so quickly I can't believe it's over I need more!

I mean Bodhi finally got a sibling I need to know how that's going! Hopefully we will get some more books in this world and find out how all the siblings are doing and how they're connecting and whether Andrea is moving on after her ordeal.

We had some guest appearances from my fave vandals in this one so can't complain it's always nice to see the cross overs and the love.

This book tied up all the loose ends, I saw the Lainey Grandmother reveal coming but did not see the dad part coming...shocked!!

All our characters are left in good places but there is definitely room for more...please Heather. This appears to be more begging than a review. Oh well... you get it I loved it.
