Perfect short spicey read. I can't say much without spoilers as it is a very short read, but - Cinnamon roll shadow monster who likes to be praised and can manipulate his shadow if you know what I'm saying 😉. I would have loved for this one to be longer - I say this with all winter Randall's books, and i think it's because I get hooked and disappointed when it's all over, and I want more monster smut in my life. The smut is always on point, and I hope we will get a bit more from the shadow world.

This one wasn't for me. There's no character development, it's just a creepy house in the woods, a horny MC, a shadow man and a bunch of smut.

I found it hard to figure out when the shadow monster was talking and the spice didn't do it for me. It was ok, but not my thing.

Logic goes out the door for this one, because Calista doesn't even stop to think, because she "feels" it in her heart.

A wine bottle from the store??? She didn't even rinse it, before or after.

And Shadow man just remains shadow man.

Quick and Juicy

This was a fun read and packed a lot of story into a short book. I don’t always enjoy short reads because they tend to lack a lot of context, but Winter Randall did amazing at telling you everything you needed to know! And the spice is amaze! Loved this!

Good quick read

This was a great read for such a short book. It was perfect for reading right before bed when I only have a little bit of time on my hands. Definitely suggest it if you like short reads.

I was kinda hoping this would be a little spooky but the first chapter set me straight. To sum up this short story, I will quote the main character “I just want some fucking dick”. Apparently that needs to happen with a man made of shadows. Enough said.

it's a fast read, and the 🌶️ starts early. I wish there had been a bit more plot; however, how many of us are actually reading for the plot?
