There’s a Greek God in my bedroom.

It’s my best friend’s fault really.
She brought a statue in telling me it’d be good luck. I can’t get him out of my head. If I’m not fantasizing about him, I’m doing naughty things to the statue.

It all comes to a head when I wake up with him worshipping between my legs. He’s alive and fully functional. He can’t stop professing his desires for me. He says he has a surprise for me when he drags me back to my bedroom.

Am I going to lose my heart and body to a former statue?

Why do I keep doing this to myself? Well here we go:

The BAD, the WEIRD, and the UGLY

🚩 Let’s start with licking, smearing our ‘juices’ and literally f*cking a statue that our friend bought at a yard sale without even wiping it down with a sanitizing wipe, or spraying it with at least Lysol! Yuck! 🤢 🤮
🚩 Dana my girl. Seriously you are so desperate to get laid that you allow a man you just met for a first date treat you like hot garbage? You let him inside you and when he verbally abuses you, you think “oh it’s my fault because he saw how fat I am”. Girl, girl, girl! STOP IT!
🚩 In connection to the above point, why are you so negative about yourself? As a bigger girl myself, I understand feeling the societal pressures imposed on us by literally everything and everyone around us; but come on, this really short story annoyed me on how hard she was on herself, even when being told reasons why they find her beautiful. Who cares what others think ladies, learn to love yourself and you’ll see how much better your life will get.
🚩 Cupid has animated glitter hearts appear when he climaxes. Oh, and his jizz tastes of candy hearts. Enough said.
🚩 If you have a kink for tasting yourself, or being tasted unconventionally; more power to you. As for me, I found all the ‘tasting’ just a whee bit weird.
🚩 The scene with Dana tied to chair perturbed me a bit. She clearly says no, more than once. She is visibly uncomfortable and tries to wriggle away, but does he stop? Nope. I get that it was meant to be an empowering moment, but it entirely missed the mark.

Personally I hated this. It was just not for me. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Valentine's Day gift of a statue

This is a short, funny and steamy love story of a statue learning to be human; with a great element of loving who you are.

Dana is annoyed when her best friend turns up with a 7-foot Cupid/Eros statue and leaves it at the foot of her bed. But once alone she can't stop fantasizing about and talking to it, not realising her touches are bringing him to life.

Cupid has always been aware of the humans around him but he finds Dana's teasing changes his stone to flesh and can't resist his desires to hold her while she sleeps, much to her surprise when she wakes up. But he's determined to make her realise that he loves her for who she is.

I loved the reference to Artemis/Diana in the Moon Used Books shop (Missy with half-moon glasses & an owl tattoo) and wonder if this is the first in a series.

“Dana works from home. She's working when there's a knock at her door. She opens the door and stands there in shock and screams at her friend. Missy pushes a cart in with a big statue of Cupid on it. She takes it to the bedroom and puts it there. Tells her friend that she knew this was meant to be hers then leaves. Now Dana is stuck with a statue and no way to move it. What the heck does she do with that thing!?!?
A cute story to read!!.

This was a fun, quirky and hot read just in time for Valentine's Day ;D Dana gets gifted a life sized Cupid statue from her bestie and she can't stop fantasizing about him/it. Well, with all the naughtiness she gets up to, she brings him to life. He quickly gets his due and works at convincing her that she's perfect just as she is - only with a lot of spicy times along the way. This is another entertaining read that takes a different path by this author and I'm looking forward to what's next :P

S.R.'s characters are developed, connected, and full of passion which you know we LOVE to see. After all who doesn't want to know how a statue could learn to feel and be... and love!?

Cupid loves Dana in an unapologetic way and does not intend to change her, it's refreshing <3

This was so all over the place. I understand that it is a little smut novella but it was a lack of growth between them. Constantly the FMC kept denying all of these things and the MMC acting naive about so many things but wanting to show he can be worthy of her. Which, I mean, makes sense since he is a statue come to life. It also goes into him being a god and cupid but there is no real explanation. Not that I think that this book requires it, but still. Overall a quick read.

Okay, y'all. I needed to read this. Lol. The story is quirky and completely smutty. It's great if you want something fast and funny. Also, things happen and you're like wth. Like the friend bringing a whole statue of Cupid and leaving it at her friend's house. However, it's entertaining and good.

Plenty Deviant, Slightly Off-The-Wall
Dana is having a dry spell when her friend brings over a life size Cupid statue. Which, somehow, comes to life. This story is short and sorta bonkers, but in a wonderful and slightly romantic way. A perfect anti-Valentine’s spicy read.

The FMC is super self-conscious about her plus-size bod, but Cupid could honestly care less. He loves her just the way she is and as he begins to realize just how deep her insecurities are, he decides to take matters into his own hands.

He ties her to a chair and blindfolds her while he writes all the things he loves about her on various parts of her body. It was hard to read an FMC who was so deeply insecure about her body, but at the same time it resonated with me so much and it was so sweet of the MMC to prove to her how much he adores her just the way she is.

The spice is good and his 🍆 shoots silver liquid and glitter hearts 🤣
