Loved it
Omg thus book was so good. First time reading this author and if didn't disappoint. Kade is a Baer shifter in broken arrow with his military brothers. When he first set eyes on Dinah he knew she was his. Dinah has no clue about Kade. Not until she runs go his cabin. Her husband Jimmy goes missing and she needs his help. Only she is being hunted as well. Kade will stop at nothing to protect her and Jimmy.

Oh boy was this a good read ya'll. You are in for a ride and a good heat inducing flushed cheeks moments!!
We are met by Alpha grump bear shifter Kade just doing his thing around town. The last thing he expected was the scent his fated mate in the parking lot. He can tell there is something not right with the scene but not sure what.
He finds Dinah, and her bestie Jimmy have come into contact with some unsavory bunch, but thinking she's taken he doesn't interfere. Well...not until he finds her in his place hiding, begging to not be killed. There is a huge action around Dinah and Jimmy's time at the ranch next to his property.
I loved how these two,even as fated mate, are drawn to each other. Dinah has left the most sheltered life, and has no idea of the things the "real world" holds coming from a cult. Dinah and Jimmy risked everything to get out, but found themselves in more dire straights until Kade finds her.
I love how he is quick and bold in protecting Dinah, and after knowing what her bestie means to her, stepping up to take care of him as well. We get such a nice story of shifters who really will step up and do whatever is takes to protect their own. It shows in the support from his fellow brothers and ex military, as well as his Devil's Pack MC.
He can't help he's fallen for a human, but there is no way he's willing to let her go. He's lucky she doesn't realize she feels the same way. I love how her willingness to learn and be taught was doing so respectful and met with the purest of intentions, allowing her to feel safe for once in her life.
Now....moving onto the heat between these two. Grab a pen, notebook, a fan, and maybe a glass of your favorite drink. I swear you can almost feel the inferno radiating off the pages between these two. Its done with such respect but a whole heck of lot of heat. Ghost pepper, scalding, clothes melting heat!!

An abused woman escapes a fanatic religious cult and a “Most Dangerous Game” style hunt and finds herself in the very cozy arms of a bear shifter biker who wants nothing more than to give her a life on Easy Street.
A lot of the tropes that would’ve made me dislike the plot are not present in this book, which makes it a lot more palatable than comparables in the genre.
The FMC is a virgin who has had her sexual desires oppressed. The MMC does not fetishize her innocent untouched purity, nor does he treat her like a child, nor does he dominate her completely; he allows her to explore her curiosity and set the pace in a way that feels very natural and comfortable. It helps that the author doesn’t lean overmuch on the religious trauma angle. The FMC has known for a while now that her home life was abnormal and that she had to get out, and she intentionally avoided internalizing certain beliefs that she thought were incongruous with her personal moral compass.
The MMC is a great example of healthy masculinity. He’s protective of his mate but not to the exclusion of others who are trying to help. He doesn’t have silly hang-ups (as if only eating black coffee and steak is what makes you a man) and he’s not so jealous and possessive that he won’t let the FMC see her fake husband/best friend/closest support person (don’t laugh but I have absolutely read books recently where the MMC is so jealous he won’t even let her hug her brothers/cousins/BFF too long… geez).
A lot of the genre-typical misogyny of a MC club romance is absent from this book, and there are no leering drunk dudes at the bar trying to cop a feel when the MMC looks away for two seconds. Thank goodness. SA is alluded to out of earshot of the FMC by the villains, but it never comes to that, thank goodness. Guess being creepy human-hunters was enough evil for them >.>

In many ways, Kameron’s first foray into the shifter world has many similarities to her military heroes. Protective, alpha men searching for their soulmates and nothing in the world can stop them from destroying anyone that means them harm. The fact that these guys are shifters, well that’s just an added bonus. However, this story has a bit of darkness too, with a hint of human trafficking and something much worse at nearby Johnston Ranch. Raised in an isolated commune, Dinah virtually goes from the frying pan into the fire, as her first experience of the real world leaves her reeling. Remarkably, despite her trauma, she’s not afraid of Kade. As she and her friend Jimmy recover from their ordeal, I loved how Dinah’s natural curiosity wanted to explore everything around her, very much including Kade. Although Kade knows Dinah is his fated mate, I loved how he waited until Dinah made her choice and accepted both sides of him. There’s a myriad of side characters that were also fun to meet, including Kade’s family back in Fortune Falls, though I found it hard to keep Kade’s brothers, Karter, Kash, Kason, Koran and Kit straight 😊

Riding the Kodiak is a dark and gritty standalone paranormal romance by Kameron Claire and is part of the Devil's Pack MC series.
Bear shifter and MC club member, Kade, moved to Montana despite growing up close to his rowdy family. He's the eldest son and expected to look after the family, but life has dictated otherwise for him. He's a protector at hear and nothing gets his protective instincts going more than the mysterious young human woman, Dinah. Dinah has an interesting backstory, she is in some ways totally naive but also a little worldly.
There are interesting human and shifter dynamics in this book, that unfold as the fated mate connection between Dinah and Kade is explored. Shifters hold a dim view of humans... and yet, who is to argue with fate when when presented with one's perfect mate?
With some danger and intense chemistry between Dinah and Kade, this was a fun story to read. I'm definitely keen to read more.

While I’ve read lots of shifter romances, I have not really got into MC stories, so this was a new genre for me. Kade is a bear shifter alpha who has not yet found his mate and when Dinah appears in his town, he thinks it cannot be her as she is human and appears to be married. Things seemed to get dark quite quickly with the ordeal she and Jimmy underwent at the hands of a rival MC. I was afraid for Jimmy, but he miraculously survived and Kade and his MC brethren rescue and protect Dinah and Jimmy respectively. Having escaped from a closed cult they are inexperienced with the outside world. I really liked how Kade held back from claiming Dinah right away, but she was eager to learn all about things she was forbidden to feel or experience in the cult. Steamy scenes with lots of happy endings and a great set up for other characters’ future stories. I hope Jimmy gets his HEA in one of them.

First, I love Kameron Claire's stories and tried to read them all. I find them fascinating and I love the characters of each story she has written. Kade is a man you want on your side, he's an alpha who chose to stay with his SpecOpsSierra MC. They protect the town and do what they can to help out. When trouble comes he doesn't realize his whole life is about to change. He doesn't want a mate, but sometimes fate will give you one that you don't expect. This is the 2nd book in the “Devil’s Pack MC Series.” Kameron Claire stated that this is her first time writing a paranormal shifter romance. Kameron I love it you did an awesome job, keep them coming. This is an entertaining easy quick read that has its share of drama, action packed adventure, romance, great characters and a plot that is oh, so good. Kade is an alpha bear shifter, former military and a member the Devil’s Pack MC. Dinah is a human and Dinah is Kade’s fated mate. When Kade scents Dinah he knows that she is his fated mate but she appears to already be married. Dinah and her friend Jimmy have escaped from a rival MC. Kade has an instant attraction to Dinah and he is there along with his MC member protect and keep both Dinah and Jimmy safe.

This book is a part of the Devil’s Pack MC series and focuses on Kade and Dinah. Kade is a military veteran and a bear shifter who created a life for himself in Broken Arrow with his MC brothers after feeling driven to settle down there. He has yearned for his mate for years but hadn’t had any luck in finding her. After two years, he finally finds her but finds that she is human and in trouble. Dinah was so strong and had endured more than most people do their entire lives and still came out on top in spite of everything. Kade and Dinah were perfect for each other and were exactly what the other had been missing all their lives. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Wow!! This was so good! When Devils Pack MC member, bear shifter, Kade sees a rival MC member trading humans he attempts to find out what’s going on only to discover one of the humans is his mate. Dinah and her best friend Jimmy escaped the cult that they were born into only to find themselves in danger after being trafficked when they thought they’d been offered work. With their lives on the line they separate and run. Dinah finds herself hiding in Kade’s home. He takes care of her and keeps her safe. Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, love, friendship, danger, suspense, a loving, protective hero and a beautiful HEA.

I loved this story by Kameron Claire. It's a little different from her usual stuff but I hope she writes more of it. I love reading paranormal shifter stories, add in a MC and it's the perfect story. Kade made be a powerful Kodiak shifter but that doesn't mean that he isn't looking for his fated mate. When he catches her scent, he thinks his time has finally come except for one small issue...she's a human. Dinah grew up in a cult and she broke free of it with her best friend. They escape one bad situation to end of in a different one. When she makes it to freedom, she meets Kade. Will they be able to find happiness together?

This is the first book I've read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
So much drama from the beginning had me hooked like my Nana watching one of her favorite day time soaps . 😂
Dinah and Kade , a match made in shifter heaven .
Kade is one protective heart stopping gorgeous alpha bear and Dinah is his human mate .
Dinah and her best friend/ brother have had a awful childhood and escape one prison to only unwittingly stumble on another that's more sinister then they could have possibly imagined.
With the help of Kade and his MC Dinah and Jimmy finally find the peace they've been looking for and Kade finds his mate .
I highly recommend this book it was a great read .

Don’t care for the authors take on shifts or MCs. There were so many things brought up and then went nowhere, like why even mention it. I am so freaking over the virgin/manwhore trope. In chapter one the MMC is all” Full moon is two nights away and we run, hunt, and fuck as part of the evening activities. There are plenty of unmated females in the community—both human and shifter alike—who are ready to party with the MC on the full moon. “ couple chapters later the MMC is overjoyed that the FMC is “untouched” ugh freaking hypocrites! Why did the author feel the need to continually bring up the fuck fest that occurs on the full moon, like we get it they are dirty dirty hoes, let’s move on. Especially seeing that the couple never even attended the party.

I enjoyed Riding with the Kodiak. I liked both Kade and Dinah and they seemed to fit as a couple pretty much from the moment they met. I also really liked Kade's SpecOps brothers as well as his bio family. Jimmy and Dinah had it rough growing up so I was glad they had each other.
Since this was a novella, their romance is quick, but it wasn't unexpected since this is a fated mates PNR. The conflict that brought them together definitely added to the story and made their quick deep connection more believable. I can't wait for future stories in the series.

This was a fabulous read. I absolutely loved both Dinah and Kade. Their connection, empathy and understanding of each other was incredibly special. The events leading up to Dinah and Kade's meeting are dark and disturbing, but this is soon eclipsed by sweetness, swoon and steam. There are just so many beautiful moments between the pair, I couldn't get enough of them! I love the world Kameron has created here with Kade's family, both blood and found, and am excited to see where she takes us in the two PNR series to come.

I loved Riding with the Kodiak Devil's Pack MC. Kade just scented his mate. Thinking she’s married has him panicked but when he finds out the truth. When him and his friends rescue Dinah and her friend, she doesn’t know why but she feels completely safe with him. She has had so much trauma in her life but Kade takes that away. Kade will protect Dinah with his life though he worried about how people will react to a human mate. I loved the storyline and the characters. Kade is definitely an alpha male but his mate will own him. I would definitely recommend this book.

Finding, Fighting, and Keeping His Mate! This is about Dinah and Kade. Kade notices that Dinah and Jimmy are being handed off to someone he thinks is not a good man. Both Dinah and Jimmy escaped the cult home they had lived in for years, but they thought this new world was going to give them a new opportunity for a new life. Instead, the man who "purchased' them is on a manhunt in which they are both going to be killed. Kade and his brothers help track and kill those who harmed Jimmy as he ensured that Dinah escaped. The story was great - it kept me reading until the end!.

Riding with the Kodiak is an action-filled bear shifter romance novella. I enjoyed meeting Kade and his brothers and friends, and I like how diverse of a group of people they are. Dinah is dynamic and such an interesting role—her backstory is fascinating. The villains were villainous and plenty, providing for a plethora of action scenes throughout the book. Kade and Dinah together have a magical chemistry, and while it is intense it is also interesting and engaging to watch them navigate their circumstances. With so much going on, this was a fun one and I’m excited to see where the two separate series lead us.

This was an amazing out of the gate new paranormal by Ms. Claire. I am drawn to these stories due to their alpha, protective, fate means everything/bond, heat and sometimes funny moments. Most people want a mate/partner who has our back and then some. Kade was definitely that for Dinah. He was more than that. Their chemistry was felt but so was his need to protect her and make her his. And she was just as willing to continue fighting for her life and right to make choices. One of those being Kade. I can’t wait to read more. And to see where Jimmy’s story goes.

Kade is a bear shifter who with a few of his ex military special ops shifter friends are part of a MC clan which is about 80 miles from his family in Montana. He goes home one day to find Dinah hiding and discovers her friend Jimmy is trying to lead the human hunters away from her. Kade is surprised to find Dinah is his mate even though she is human, Dinah and Jimmy have run away from a cult. This story is great, shows how cults can be deadly, humans can get above themselves and bored enough to hunt other humans for fun but also shows how love and a caring personality can shine through. This is also a steamy book which also helps. Not a book to put down, even if you could.

This book is part of a multi author series called Devils Pack MC. I have read books by Kameron Claire mostly her military ones. I'm in love with this shifter book. It was so good. It had military biker shifters. What more can you ask for. I was intrigued by all the characters. So glad these characters are getting their own books. I'm invested in these characters at this point. Kade and Dinah were great mates. Can't say enough how much I enjoyed this book.
