I'm incredibly grateful sites like NetGalley exist because I discovered so many incredible authors there and Julia is one of them. It's always exciting to have early access to a book by an author you love, especially when it ends up being great, like this one did.

We've already met Stella and Connor in Shooters (the first book in the trilogy), but this book explores their relationship seven years deep into their marriage. Technically, you don't need to read Shooters first, but it will give you an insight into how they met and got together. And it's an incredible journey so I would definitely recommend it!

I loved how the author presented issues in their relationship and how the characters dealt with them. There's some miscommunication going on but it's realistic and that's what makes this book so good — real issues handled respectively and them rekindling the spark. The side characters were great, I truly enjoyed reading about them and getting their closures as well! The addition of Tristan's perspective was a great decision as it helped to talk about a few more topics that are important. Apart from marital troubles, there's also ADHD representation, talks about AIDS and self doubt, and many more. I would definitely recommend this!

A huge thank you to the author for sending me an ARC of this book!

I was super chuffed getting an advance copy of this wonderful book!

This was a fitting end to the fantastic Photographers Trilogy (plus a bonus story!)

We’re in Las Vegas at the world's largest photography convention, which adds a frenetic energy to the already heightened emotions of our beloved characters. What's happening with Connor and Stella? And Tristan and Michael are back- whatever happened to them? And Liliwen and Connor’s dad… all added to the mix. Krish also gets a cameo.

With some new faces that further upend their lives, I frantically turned the pages to see what would happen next. And all my questions were answered by the end. Hurrah!

I loved revisiting the previous storylines and seeing what came after. Julia tackles big issues with sensitivity and has produced yet another completely satisfying, excellent, sexy, romantic book.

Boxset is now COMPLETE! Woohoo!!

Firstly let me start by saying I'm so sad The Photographers Trilogy is over, I've absolutely loved this series & if you haven't yet read Shooters, Chasing The Light & spin off book Camera Shy I highly recommend you do, they're such great books.

Exposure brings us back to our original Shooters couple Stella & Connor who are no longer the happy, power couple at the top of the photography world, instead they are six months into a trial separation and at the make or break point, will their marriage survive or is their happily ever after over? I loved the setting of the world's largest photography convention that's being held in Las Vegas, it added a fresh exciting background to the story. I love Stella & Connor and really wanted them to work through their issues and give their relationship another chance but my god did they frustrate me at times I just wanted to shake them both!! But in saying that the author really wrote the characters and their personalities so well and very realistically & I loved seeing them both work through their own issues & in turn their relationship.

I definitely felt that this was the book were Connor truly came into his own & we really saw the true him not just the charming, playful, arrogant former playboy, seeing him work on himself & discover so many hidden truths about himself was so heartwarming.

Appearances from some our old friends added some fun & banter to the story and I particularly loved the chapters from Tristen's POV and I've my fingers crossed that he might get his own book in the future 🤞

Julia is a wonderful storyteller and you get lost & engrossed in her stories so easily and as always she addresses hidden conditions so so well, you can tell how much research & work she puts into any condition she writes about.

I'm off to cry now that this fantastic series is over.

Julia Boggio is a true storyteller. The way she writes I could relate to each character in a different way, and understand their motivations behind their behaviour. She takes her time with character development whilst managing to move the story forward at an amazing pace. Not a single word is wasted. Her research into medical conditions is phenomenal, and you come out with more understanding into people around you or your own condition thanks to her. She does the research you need to add value to the character. Her background in photography was portrayed with the visual pictures her writing provides, you sit there imagining the scenes as though you are in them! I really did not want Connor and Stella's story to end but I was also desperate to read it- Stella and Connor have been such a staple, and the cliff hanger at the end of the last book had me on tenterhooks. We start towards the end of a tumultuous situation and meet Michael and Armstrong again, as well as Lilwen and others. Stella and Connor, will they won't they kept me on the edge of my seat/bed, you would almost think phew, and the he would go do something stupid (lyrics in mind) and poor Stella wad whirling like a dervish. The big speech he gave her, well wow! I was applauding him, because yes you both are 50:50 responsible for this situation and Stella was solely blaming Connor for it! Then you have a typical Vegas situation with other characters, I bet you will not be able to predict this one! And a cute awww moment with Tristan and Michael, which makes you feel warm and fuzzy, and you really need these moments with everything Stella and Connor put us through! It was an emotionally driven read, I savoured every word and scene. We got it all!

Loved it!

I bought the first three books in this series earlier this year at the SWPP convention in London. Normally, I lean towards non-fiction, so I was a bit hesitant at first. But I'm so glad Julia Boggio convinced me to give them a shot.

I devoured the first three books in no time! The first one hooked me immediately, and as a photographer, I could totally relate to Stella, the protagonist. When I finished the third book, I was already itching to know how the story would end. So, you can imagine how thrilled I was to receive an advanced copy of Exposure.

Exposure is the perfect conclusion to the trilogy. The short chapters made it a breeze to read, even though I had a PDF instead of a physical book (which I usually prefer). I loved following Stella’s journey and seeing her growth as a photographer. Her romantic struggles really tugged at my heartstrings, and I found myself genuinely upset for her at times. Being Italian, I also enjoyed spotting Italian expressions throughout the book—it was a fun personal touch.

The book also tackles some medical issues, much like Boggio did in Chasing the Light and Camera Shy. It's clear that a lot of research went into these topics, and Boggio portrays them with both knowledge and empathy, showing their psychological impacts on the characters’ lives.

I could see this series becoming a hit Netflix series, captivating both photographers and general audiences alike.

If you love romantic novels, do yourself a favour and grab all four books in this series. They’re the perfect summer reads. And if you've already read the first three, there's no reason not to dive into this one!

What an end to the series! I really didn’t know which was it was going to go! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this series reads like a movie or series. It’s cliche, it’s cheesy, it’s a whirlwind of a rom-com book series.

This is your next summer read. The whole series! With short chapters and fast pacing, you’ll fly through the whole thing. What I loved about Exposure was the realism surrounding the different relationships. Albeit very exaggerated, which fits to the genre, I loved reading about all different kinds of relationships and tackling many different issues. I also enjoyed hearing more from the background characters and giving them more of a voice. The short chapters making the story very snappy and easy to read.

This book was not predictable and I flew through the last 100 pages determined to know what was going to happen. You need to check out this series! I would like to thank Julia Boggio for gifting me this ebook in exchange for an honest review, it did not disappoint!

This is the third book in The Photographers Trilogy and what a great finale to this series.

Having loved books 1&2 - Shooters and Chasing The Light - I was excited to get stuck in and find out how this trilogy concludes.

We first meet Stella and Connor in Shooters and watch as their relationship develops.
Although book 2 deviates to follow Connor's assistant, Krish, here, we return to Stella and Connor's story as we left them in the previous book.

I would definitely say that these should be read as a whole series and in order as the story arc does run through all three books and the character progression is needed to get full enjoyment out of this book.

Given this does follow on, I'm not going to be discussing plot here as I asbsolutely hate to give spoilers - but I love that we're back with Stella and seem to have come full circle as we see her struggle with another love dilemma.

Right from the first page, we're drawn into this fast-paced, light and funny book which hits us with a great heap of sass too.
I raced through with a smile on my face, loving every second.

I love how we see Connor's character finally come into his own. Having not been super keen through the other books, he really does work on himself here and the result is commendable and definitely worth it!
Not that Stella doesn't have her own lessons throughout this book and the ending, well you'll have to give this a read and find out!

Another great read - packed with fun but with a brilliant overall message - and some super spicy scenes too!
Loved this series!

I was very lucky to get an early copy of this - I've said it elsewhere, but I absolutely love it when writers bring back beloved characters from earlier books, and it feels somehow completely fitting that the Photographer's-trilogy-plus-Camera-Shy should end with a return for Stella and Connor.

It's also interesting to see them both away from home; they're in Las Vegas for a photography convention, but all is definitely not well in their relationship. As always, the difficulties they're facing are treating sensitively, a hallmark of Julia's writing, and there's also plenty of comic relief (mostly from Liliwen and Connor's dad!) as well as a compelling subplot romance.

Overall it's fun, warm and relatable - a flawless conclusion to the series.

Memorable characters Stella and Connor have been married for seven years and are currently separated while they try to work out what they want from their marriage. I love a reconciliation story (Jane Austen's Persuasion is a firm favourite) and was rooting for both of them from the beginning. If you like a contemporary romance that deals with very real issues, particularly around health and mental health, forgiveness and letting go of the past, then this is the book for you. There's also a touching love story featuring old favourite Tristan (from Shooters, The Photographers Trilogy, part 1), and Michael. For a positive, life-affirming narrative with plenty of laughs, try Exposure!

In this last book in The Photographer’s Trilogy, I was desperate to see what happened in Conner and Stella’s story, and the added family and friend romantic storylines were a lovely surprise! With so much drama and so many couples to root for, I couldn’t put this book down.

I love how the author includes real life issues in all of her books in such an authentic and natural way. This book’s ADHD storyline particularly resonated with me. The frequent and relatable pop culture references were another treat I enjoyed.

I highly recommend this rom-com, absolutely loved it!

I can't believe the trilogy is over already, it doesn't even feel that long ago since Shooters was released!
I enjoyed revisiting all of the endearing characters from the previous installments, and meeting some new faces too. The Las Vegas setting was refreshing and the whole story was fun and engaging. As always Julia handles sensitive topics with the utmost care and you can really tell the amount of research that's gone into this to make it as genuine and as real as possible.
Although this isn't my favourite in the trilogy I do think it's the perfect ending for Stella and Connor. The character development they've experienced throughout the trilogy has been a delight to read and I am so happy that I picked up this series!

It's safe to say that I will read anything that Julia writes. <3

Fabulous ending to the Shooters trilogy! It was great to see the Stella/Connor story arc continue but also plenty of new drama and intrigue to round out their universe... and in Vegas no less! Always a great setting for drama! The author says this one was the end but I hope she’ll change her mind and do another one… 📸❤️

Also… fabulous first line on this book: “The room simmered with talent: those who had it, those who wanted it, and those who would always suck no matter how hard they tried.” 🤣🤣

what can I say? I'm sad to know that there won't be more adventures for these characters but I'd say they had their perfect ending. As always hilarious, irreverent and really well written. Let's hope the author reconsiders and surprises us with new adventures for these characters... in highly recommended!

Exposure! By Julia Boggio
With this, her fourth novel, the inimitable Julia Boggio has demonstrated that she is truly a master of the art of sassy, sexy romantic writing. Whereas I very much enjoyed, but had minor reservations about, the first three (Shooters, Chasing the Light and a side-quest novella set in Paris, Camera Shy,) there’s really nothing to fault in Exposure!
This tale, set at a photography conference in Las Vagas, is fast-paced and funny and Julia drops bombshell after bombshell, keeping the multi-layered story unfolding beautifully.
I should mention some of the hilarious moments, including Connor being found in a Karaoke Bar, totally wired after drinking ten bubble teas – and the matching Mr and Mrs Pacman tattoos a couple who marry in Vegas (who shall be nameless so as not to spoil it) get done to seal the deal.
I didn’t like Connor Knight very much in the first two books, but in this one, I feel I’ve finally come to understand him – just as he’s come to understand himself and what he needs to do to make his marriage work and boy does he work for it. Which could make his estranged wife, Stella, look like a bit of a whingey brat, but she too has her learning experiences and they both come out wiser and more mature and (I don’t think this is a spoiler as it would be the only right ending for a romance!) with an intact marriage.
I love the positive ‘marriage is worth-it’ message of this book. The tips around communication and how finding your own self-worth is strengthening to the married relationship Julia has probably worked out in her own 19 years of marriage, but I know she also consulted a relationship counsellor for research purposes, and that’s commendable as there is some genuine wisdom in this book.
If Shooters won the Adult Fiction Category in the 2024 Selfies, Exposure deserves an even bigger prize.

There aren’t too many romance series that I can think of that have featured the same couple as the main protagonists twice. But Julia Boggio revisits Stella and Connor’s happily-ever-after and gets it so right. Exposure! is a fast-paced story with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, as I’ve come to expect from this author. Also, in typical style, she touches on delicate subjects with sensitivity. I especially love how she weaves the theme of exposure in so many forms throughout the book. To me, Julia Boggio is up there with Emily Henry and Abby Jimenez and, in my opinion, the Photographer’s Trilogy is one of the best romance series ever!

This book perfectly completes The Photographer's Trilogy and is my favourite of the three. Original characters meld beautifully with new characters to tell a compelling story that is so hard to put down (I finished this book in 2 days!!). The way that the author describes attending and presenting at a convention in Las Vegas is so accurate, as are the references to living with ADHD and relationship issues. This book had it all for me. A thrilling story with an edge that had me laughing, crying, and nervous all at the same time!

I first read this book when it first came out, and loved it. I’ve just finished reading the whole ‘Photographers’ series again and enjoyed it even more because I could see so clearly how Stella and Connor have grown and changed as people. I love the characters and this is a wonderful conclusion to their story.

The attraction between Stella and Connor sizzles, but it’s crunch time for their marriage because they can’t seem to agree on anything outside of bed, and Stella is excited by an amazing work offer… the problem is, if she accepts she’ll be working for a man Connor loathes. So there’s tension and chemistry galore in this book!

I also enjoyed how ‘Exposure’ had chapters from Connor’s point of view, and liked that their loved ones had bigger roles in this story. The deeper issues are, as ever with this author, handled sensitively without dominating the story and don’t drag the mood down. There’s plenty of funny moments, like the dinner from Hell with Connor’s father and brother Michael.

‘Exposure’ is an uplifting read about fighting for love and learning how to stay true to yourself and your dreams. Read the whole series, it’s fun and touching and will put a smile on your face!

I was given an advanced copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Sassy, sexy, oozing with innuendo and laugh-out-loud moments (as we’ve come to expect from Julia Boggio), the third book in the Photographer’s Trilogy doesn’t disappoint - I devoured it in two days!

Exposure! launches us with speed, back into the lives of Connor and Stella, as they reignite the fire in their relationship at a photography convention in the US; cleverly delivering peeks into our duo’s pre-couple days to unpack past deeds and life choices. In delicious depth, the introduction to the Knight family and friends moves the action along at pace, with the Tristan/Michael narrative unfurling in true Boggio page-turner style - now there’s a novella in the making *hint*.

Photographers won’t be able to read about convention antics without cracking a few wry smiles. And we can all relate to the trials of the human condition, as JB tenderly touches upon, at times, difficult themes but safely wraps us in a warm blanket with her considered resolution.

Bravo bella, a fitting finale for our much-loved characters! Now about that novella...

I couldn’t put this down! Such an enjoyable read with some great characters and some hilarious and often tricky situations. The novel is set in Vegas at a famous, annual photography convention. Julia really knows her subject having herself obviously “been there and done it” as a notable photographer. It was lovely to meet Connor, Stella,Lilliwen, Tristan and the others again and to see how they are all getting along - or not!
I heartily recommend this as a great read! Not only is it extremely well written, it’s fun with some real “laugh out loud” moments. Yet it also delves into the complexities of relationships in an insightful way
Here’s hoping this won’t be the last time we meet all these characters- hoping there might be a fourth book to add to the trilogy?

I loved this book. All the original Shooters characters came back to me plus a few more which kept the pace fast and the story fresh and interesting. This is a super-fast, fun read. It only took me two days to finish. It's remarkably light and punchy considering the darker themes of marriage troubles and issues around neurodiversity, which are explored with the usual Boggio sensitivity. The setting in Las Vegas at the photography convention is exciting and feels authentic. You can tell this is the author's lived experience as a former photographer herself. Overall, this is perfect for fans of funny, warm-hearted romance.

I loved this book! I loved the other two in the series as well, so I am a Julia Boggio fan! As a professional female photographer, I SO relate to the challenges here, but it is more than just being a photographer but also a mom and a wife. (Note: I once fired my assistant at a wedding, and my assistant was my husband...) The story kept me reading late into the night, and it was laugh-out-loud funny, touching, and realistic as far as how communication can just be so HARD sometimes, but if you learn to communicate, life is better all around. (I did hire my husband to work with me again about 7 years later...just saying. And tomorrow is our 35th wedding anniversary!)

I love Julia Boggio's books! She is a fantastic writer, and she clearly has a deep understanding of the complexities of love AND photography (obviously, since she's a professional photographer).

This series has everything we look for in romances, but in a world (the professional photography world) I don't see often in these kinds of books, which makes them really stand out.

I don't normally read spicy books, so for those who prefer closed door, the spicy scenes can be skipped over. And, as a side note, SHOOTERS (the first book in the series) is more on the closed door side (THAT is a great book, too, review coming soon).

Can't wait to see what Julia's got cookin' next!

Such a wonderful final addition to what has been a brilliant trilogy! As a photographer I felt so connected and involved with a world that I recognise but the magic of these books is that they will appeal to everyone outside the profession too! Wonderful storytelling and characters which made this absolutely un-put-downable!! It hooked me in to a late night readathon!.. great work Julia!.. I hope we get an update on these superstar photographers in the future!

This is book three in the photographers trilogy and I loved it just as much as the first two books shooters and chasing the light

This is such a cute fun series and it was so lovely to see Stella and Connor's journey continue even though it is at the time of family difficulties.

The author has a fantastic ability to create characters you will love and stories that incorporate real life issues and dilemmas.

Each book in the series tackles difficult issues with gentleness and honesty. Exposure tackles marriage difficulties, ADHD, AIDS, self confidence and the impact parents have in their kids.

And goodness me how CUTE are Tristan and Michael in this. It's so sweet to see their story in this one too.

Lots of laughs in this in the form of Connor and Michael's dad and Liliwen. These two are hilarious 🤣

Plus lots of touching moments, no spoilers, but I love a HEA so I was page turning to see if I would get it!

Did I?

Read and see.

Perfect read if you love cute, fun romances with sweet characters and great story lines! The perfect pallet cleanse, cosy read!

Huge thank you to the author for my adpr ARC of this book. All thoughts are my own.

Having read both Shooters and Chasing the Light, I loved reading the final instalment of the trilogy. The books are set in the world of Professional photography and all feature fantastic locations. As a photographer myself it was so much fun to read books based in a world that is so familiar to me. However, you don't need to know the profession to enjoy these books. While full of great characters and a lot of fun scenarios, Julia also manages to tackle some heavier subjects that many people can relate to, such as balancing two successful careers while bringing up a child, dealing with challenges within marriage, as well as things like ADHD and panic attacks. All of the books tackle different issues, giving them much more depth than some of the more fluffy romcoms, while still managing to be layered stories filled with humour. I loved seeing characters from earlier books such as everyone's favourite Liliwen. I also loved the bonus of getting an end to Tristan's story. The series was wrapped up beautifully in my view and I even felt a little emotional at the awards ceremony. No spoilers but I won't ever think of David Hasslehoff in the same way again.
