An ancient weapon. A tome of forbidden knowledge. A last, desperate hope to save an old friend.
Duncan, Kithani, and Vess have survived a gruesome battle, but the war against the Riven horde is far from over. Even bolstered by their new abilities, they are impossibly outnumbered. And as they struggle to unravel the mystery of the dark force threatening the land, they must confront a disturbing that the very magic responsible for destroying the world may be the only chance to save it.
Soul Harvest is the second installment of the Dread Knight series, a post-apocalyptic epic fantasy harem with light gamelit elements inspired by the world’s oldest role-playing game (102,000 words, a little longer than the original!)
Sarah Hawke is a prolific writer of science fiction and fantasy in multiple genres, including erotica, harem, and bondage. Her books are known for their intricate world-building, twisting plots, and fleshed-out characters—and of course their many intense, steamy sex scenes.
If you are interested in "pure" traditional harem stories, The Lost Fleet is the perfect place to start! Wings of the Seraph is a shorter, older series but also hits most of the traditional harem notes. Shadow of the Seraph features a rotating male and female pov with some F-F scenes involving temporary futanari, so avoid that unless it is your jam!
Her fantasy universe features many types of erotica stories involving bondage (Elf Slave, all the Spider Queen books) and non-traditional harems (The Amazon's Pledge, The Amazon's Vengeance). She also has two ongoing fantasy erotica series with intense action and multiple points of view, War of the White Throne and The Blade of Highwind.
If you like the genre this book is spectacular. It’s fun to spend time with these characters in gritty challenging world. Sarah Hawke is the master of crafting a satisfying story while also providing lots of spice. Characters, story, and spice - she provides wonderful amounts of all three.
My only complaint is that I have to wait for the third book.
Sarah Hawke is the grand mistress of porn with plot. Basically, there's a story about betrayal, the death of the world via zombie plague, and the horrific pacts that the death knights made in order to save their surviving people. However, this is all accompanied by a guy getting with a hot angel, hot elf, and hot werebear. Plus graphic sex scenes. If that's your bag then no judgements. :)
I really like Ms Hawke's writing style. The story is a little too dark and hopeless and just a little bit too wordy (internal thoughts/speculation, sidetracking background information and details, etc) but, overall, it is quite excellent.
The characters are varied, lively, engaging, loving, intriguing and keep things interesting. There is a good, balanced amount of explicit content. It would be a nice bonus to make it a bit more exciting at times so it doesn't become rote (e.g. a sexy voyeur or interruption, backdoor fun, a spontaneous surprise quickie, etc) but it is already great.
The shameless yandere deva is awesome in many ways! She is the ultimate fantasy woman.
Duncan is still trying to save the world.. Seems like one person at a time. However he is learning more about himself and his powers ever day. Possibly more important is learning what is happening to his former colleagues. Of course he is collecting beautiful women as he goes but that is the genre. Good read and enjoyable.
This is the second book in the series. It continues the story of Duncan and his two ladies. We follow the adventures that occur to them as they try to find a way to deliver the dark nights from the curse that controls their future. It is an exciting story that ends at a good point in the story.
I was greatly looking forward to this release. It didn’t disappoint, what a great sequel, I love how dark and spicy this story is, and the ending of this installment made me happy and excited for the next one.
Riveting adventure. Grabs you like a troll and doesn't let go. The erotic scenes are delicious but they are just the icing on the cake. The story carries itself and is epic.
I honestly don't know why more people don't read this series!!! This series as with all of this author's works should have hundreds of reviews!!! An epic adventure in an amazingly interesting and unique world!!!! I can't wait to see what comes next!!!!
The action picks up right away and does not let up. We get a little more insight into the characters , which lets us learn about their past and their motivation for their actions.
I really enjoyed this!! I feel like it got kind of slow in the middle and it dragged a bit but the world is well developed and interesting. The characters are lovable. I’m happy that the group is complete now as well. I can’t wait to learn more and see the story unfold. I will definitely be coming back for book 3.
Really liked the story, pacing, tension, and characters. The character specs at the end are a really nice touch. How the story evolved and continued, the progression, danger, and characters grew were great. Very fun & left me wanting to keep reading
It’s a story I’m thoroughly invested in and I am a big fan of the authors writing style. The “romance” side of the story has got progressively less enjoyable as the story continues as Kithani has become an insufferable character.
