I think that one of the greatest skills of our mind is its ability to predict the future. The book comprises predictions of quite a few opinion leaders in technology, and many of them definitely have enough experience and knowledge to make thoughtful and meaningful predictions.

I would definitely recommend this book to people who constantly search what to learn next. Contributors of the book come from different countries, backgrounds and generations and offer really interesting insights into potential developments in the sharing economy, education, smart city design, e-governments, health, sustainable energy, and alternative currencies. So if you are considering where you want to live or how you want to invest your time, energy and money, the book will give you quite a few ideas and sources for further research.

Shift 2020 will also help you identify new markets to watch and potential mentors to follow - I have already subscribed to a few new accounts on Twitter! :)

I would however agree with other reviewers, that the book would benefit from proper editing, because while it is great to keep personal style of contributors, typos should be eliminated.
