TROLL Part Two by thrilling smut author Emma Clark

Excerpt:

Justin straightened and towered over me. That's when I noticed the extensive hard-on bursting from his shorts.

A blunt, broad monster of a cock.

What will he do with it? Use it on me?

Arousal flushed his face as he regarded me. A tight smile graced his lips while he loomed close enough to stab me.

I stepped back, hoping he didn't notice my slight apprehension.

"What's wrong, baby?" he asked. "You look--terrified."

Didn't miss a beat, did he? "Nothing's wrong. Just a little sleepy."

"I'm sure you are." His tongue moistened his lips. "But that leaves a slight problem, as you can see." He glanced down at his distended shorts.

"Yes I see."

"So what do you intend to do about it?"

"Uh... what do you want me to do?"

Justin chuckled, shook his head in amusement. He lifted his gaze and his grin dissolved. His expression turned serious.

Deadly serious.

"Lie down on the floor."

"What?" I took a second step back.

He coldly grinned. "You heard me. I want your pretty ass down on the floor."

Emma Clark shines once again, at what she does best; she engages the reader with perfect characters, exact dialogue, and steamy, raw erotica. Part II is about the face-to-face meeting between the two main characters but what is more intriguing is the uncomfortable nature of the moment, not in the sexual factor but one of claustrophobia and lack of escape. That is talented writing. When the reader feels not that he/she is threatened sexually but physically by the limitation of space, you know there is something to the writing.

Definitely a hot and steamy read. I cannot wait until Part III.

'Justin. Psychotic as hell. Seductive as fuck.'

If you've read Emma Clark's other books, you know what you're letting yourself in for. It's a WTF read.
If you haven't... Then expect a vulnerable likeable heroine and a psychotic male, with some non-con or dub-non-con.

The Troll series is about an introverted female who likes bad boys and has an obsession with chatrooms and dating sites. Until one day a charming looking male starts sending her explicit, crude private messages. He acts obsessively, intensely and stalkerish, until he shows up at her apartment. Then his fun and games begin.

Emma Clark's books aren't for everyone, they don't fall in with crowd, they feature men who seem to have/actually have mental issues. They can be charming and sweet and in the next instance be totally cruel.

I liked this little series (around 70 pages) for keeping me on my toes, wondering what's going to happen next and for breaking the mould.

Compelling...I don't think a half hour has passed since I wrote my review to book 1 and finishing the second book and writing this review. Emma Clark effectively communicates how someone can be repulsed and atrracted to someone at the same time. Pretty impressive considering she used so few words...cool!

If you love WTF stockholm and questionable unhealthy choices(and relationships) you'll love this trainwreck, if you're looking for a good book that doesn't make you uncomfortable. . . seek a different writer, this is not your book.

I've been looking forward to reading this series. I got the first book free and it was great and the second installment is okay. I have a feeling this whole series is going to just be okay with me. The main thing that bothers me is the use of the C word when talking about private parts as well as the author switching words to describe it. Just stick to one word and use it. The installments aren't but a few pages anyways.

Riveting

This is the first time I've read a book of this kind. At times I was squeamish reading this wanting to stop, but I read it. I'm glad I read them in order. Definitely would recommend it. The only thing off-putting for me was the use of some adjectives. They weren't in context to the sentence.
