The youngest of six -- four older brothers, and a sister -- taught her at a young age to be competitive in all aspects of life.
At sixteen, she began competing in athletics (track and field) and before she turned seventeen, she was representing Canada in high jump. She continued to compete, breaking Canada's JR High Jump record (1.92m - 6' 3 1/2" for those metric-ly challenged). She attented University of Toronto, and Kansas State University - winning CIAU's and becoming All-American 6x - NCAA Indoors Runner Up + more.
But you're not interested in her athletic career - unless of course you're curious to know she stands 1.70m (5'7") and has jumped 20cm over her head on more than one occassion. She's represented Canada at the World Championships, World Jrs., won Francophone Games, and loved every minute of every competition. From the grueling workouts, the crazy weights she lifted on her back, the days she thought her lungs were going to spit out of her mouth for lack of oxygen, the travelling around the world and the opportunity to read - her favourite past time.
Life continued with her husband (a distance runner from Liverpool, UK, who she met at KSU) and then their first, then second and finally third child. Their house became full of more imagination and stories.
Wanita and her husband run an online business, dealing in antiques and collectables - particularly jewelry and porcelain (one of the business' website: www.wadeincanada.com ).
After her father passed away in 2009, from a six-year battle with cancer (which she still believes he won the fight against), she began to write again. A passion she'd loved for years, but realized life was too short to keep putting it off.
Her first book, Rae of Hope - from the Chronicles of Kerrigan - will be available October 2011 by kNight Romance Publishing.
She is currently represented by Dawn Dowdle of Blue Ridge Literary Agency. Wanita is a writer of Young Adult, Fantasy Fiction and where ever else her little muses take her.

Let me just first start out by saying that i have the the highest respect for writers .I appreciate the time and the effort they put into their stories . Even if I don't even like the story .
What I don't appreciate is a story that promises something and doesn't deliver it .
In the summary of the story it says a Jealous ex stalks back into his life threatening to destroy their relationship .

And I'm still waiting . Maybe I missed it ??? But I really don't think that I did .
In my status update I said that I'd eat my hand if this book wasn't cheesy dramatic , and full of cliches.
*Guess what I've still got both of my hands !*

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobook of this title.
Shadows, asleep in the shadows of day, awake with a human persona at night. However, there is a strict requirement that their true identity is never revealed, especially to a human.
This is the problem, when one shadow is attracted to a human girl.

The romance between Erebus and Aurora was good. The story line was a bit different than my normal reading. I will not be reading the next book.

I found these stories good, but some smaller parts are a bit boring to me. I would not mind to read more.

Interesting storyline about shadows. As much as I love reading urban fantasy and paranormal romance, I have never read a story like this about shadows of humans (and not at all like ghosts). It's a quick, short, easy read however the ending seemed rushed and the cliffhanger drove me crazy. I realize that the author needs to do that in order to get a reader to buy the sequel but I think the author could have at least finished Erebus and Aurora's conversation.
Will definitely be getting part 2 to find out how their story ends.

I thought this was a little on the weird side, I didn't really understand the shadows and how they were made nor why they found a human form at night but were a shadow of a bus or phone booth or whatever in the day. It was an interesting story even thought I thought it was a little out of touch lol. I got this in a box set with a few of the others other books. The audio was great by the narrator I truly enjoyed her voice and her narration.
I am going to listen to the rest of this series maybe it will all come together for me.

I enjoyed reading Shadow of Doubt part one by W.J. May. I loved this story of a forbidden love. Erebus and Aurora are two people that have chemistry although everything is trying to pull them apart. I love the two of them as I hope they find a way to be together. I can't wait to read more by W.J. May.
