Angela K. Ryan is the author of the Sapphire Beach Cozy Mystery Series, the Seaside Ice Cream Shop Mysteries, and the Cape Cod Cozy Mysteries. She writes clean, feel-good cozies for readers who love humor, lots of twists and turns, and happy-dance endings.

When she is not writing, Angela enjoys the outdoors, especially kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, snowshoeing, and skiing. She lives in Massachusetts and loves all four of the New England seasons, but she looks forward to regular escapes to the white, sandy beaches of southwest Florida, where her mother resides.

It is fitting that Angela’s series take place in fictitious seaside towns in Massachusetts and Florida. These small towns would be idyllic if it weren’t for all the bodies that keep turning up!

Angela dreams of one day owning a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel like the sweet pup in her Sapphire Beach Series, but she isn’t home enough to take care of one. So, for now, lives vicariously through one of her main characters, Connie.

The latest book in the series and the best because in this one Heather finally breaks through the barrier that has prevented her from remembering who she really is and where she came from!

But first she is surrounded by a snowstorm blanketing the town and enjoying the scene until
a neighbor appears concerned because she can’t find her sister. So Heather, Sydney and Jake go out with Fiona to look for her sister and unfortunately find her murdered in her shed.

The girls now with Fiona compile a list of who would want to harm Fiona’s sister and talk to them and sift through what they say. As new clues develop new suspects are added to the mix with five very tantalizing theories but which one is the right one or is there another one yet to be discovered?

Meanwhile Heather is searching on her own to find out answers about her own past and who she really is. She believes she is from Colorado based on previous clues and has contacted various organizations requesting information on an individual. She has no success until one refers to another who does remember the person as well as the other one and she promises to get back in touch with him after getting vital information from him.

Then when Heather and Sydney hear an arrest has been made in Fiona’s sister’s murder, they believe it is the wrong person based on what they remembered
and go to Fiona to tell her to be careful of the real killer but find he is already there with Fiona! In that moment when Heather walks in and sees an object on the table in front of her, her amnesia falls away and she remembers who she really is because she has one just like it in her own home! Now she just has to save herself, Sydney and Fiona from this madman!

This is a great story full of twists that make you lean toward each suspect until at the very end when the final clues drop that point to the guilty party!

I really enjoyed this book and I have loved this series and getting to find out who Heather really is! Now that that mystery is solved I look forward to her and
Sydney solving more mysteries in Sand Dune Shores
in the future books!

I invite you to read these three books and join me in this series! You won’t regret it!

Nor Easter Nightmare is the 3rd book in the Cape Cod Mysteries Series. Heather is continuing her search to find out who she is after an accident causes her to have amnesia. She is enjoying her new life working at the Sand Dune Shores Inn on Cape Cod. When a local woman goes missing during a Nor Easter Heather is with her sister when the body is discovered. Following very few leads Heather and her new best friend Sydney work together to discover who killed the victim. With some unexpected turns and surprising suspects Heather and Sydney bring justice to the victim and her sister. Just as Heather is confronting the murderer her memory returns and she knows who she is, where she is from, and why she was with an ex-convict when she lost her memory. Now she has to decide what she will do now that her memory has returned. Will she stay in Sand Dune Shores or will she return to her old life? Ms. Ryan has written another great cozy mystery that has just enough suspense to keep you guessing on the outcome. This third book in the Cape Cod Mysteries is a welcome addition to any library. I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

Another fun entry in the Cape Cod Mysteries. A nor'easter keeps everyone in Sand Dunes snowed in. Heather, Sydney, Jake, Joel and Elizabeth are relaxing at the Inn, enjoying the thickly falling snow. A friend and neighbor, Fiona, frantically knocks on the door. She's been unable to reach her sister who lives nearby and is worried. Heather, Sydney and Jake trudge through the storm to her sister's house. Tragically, the sister has been murdered.

Heather and Sydney join forces with Fiona to find the killer. Nor'easter Nightmare is a fast-paced who-dunit that keeps you guessing. So many twists and surprises and red herrings make for a thrilling sled ride through the snow. Like an icy snowball, the little town of Sand Dunes is packed with lies and secrets.

Nice surprise at the end. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

This was an unforgettable mystery. Heather is once more embroiled in a murder investigation when she and Sydney discover the body of Marjorie, the sister of Fiona, a new acquaintance of Heather. Marjorie 's body was found in her shed after Fiona, Heather and Sydney went to her house to find out why she wasn't answering Fiona's phone calls. There are several suspects with varying motives. At the same time as her investigation, Heather has a flashback and might be on the road to regaining her memory. Who killed Marjorie and why? Will Heather finally discover her true identity? Find out the answers to these questions by reading this enticing book, which I highly recommend to other mystery readers. I received an ARC of this book, and the opinion expressed is strictly my own.

Fiona stops at the Sand Dune Shores Inn, searching for her sister. A snowstorm has hit and her sister isn’t answering her phone. Heather, Sydney and Jake go with Fiona to her sisters house but it’s empty. They check the garage and her car is in there. There is a shed in the back yard and they have to clear the piled up snow to get the door open. Inside they find Fiona’s sister, murdered. Heather and Sydney promise Fiona to help find the killer. At the same time, Heather is still working the gift shop, and trying to uncover her past. Heather makes a list of possible suspects and they investigate each one. Will Heather and her friends uncover the truth and find the killer? Will she get her memory back? Enjoy this great mystery full of twists and suspense.

So, Heather, Sydney and Fiona walk to Marjorie's house and unfortunately, finds her murdered. When they arrest the wrong person, Heather, Sydney and friends investigate. With so many suspects and so many theories, we are taken on a real winding road until the very surprising ending and reveal! I highly recommend this series and this book is a fantastic addition. Nor'easter Nightmare is book #3 in the Cape Cod Cozy Mysteries series by Angela K. Ryan.

It’s almost Easter with a Nor'easter bearing down on the Sandy Dune Inn. Heather has a clue she is pursuing in hopes of finding out who she is and why she was in the car crash. There is a murder that Heather and Sydney are pulled into that takes priority. This was a sad case with multiple people having motives to kill the victim. While investigating the murder, Heather did make progress on her personal investigation. I was blown away how things wrapped up. I cannot wait for the next book!

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Right form the opening paragraph I was hooked and could not put it down. I am pretty good at figuring out who dunnit, but this one kept me twisting and turning until the end. Just like Heather even when the police arrested the first person you could just tell something was off which is exactly what Angela wanted us to do as readers. I loved the way thing ended up with the possibility of a romance in the future and what Cassie will get into next. I recieved this ARC free from Angela Ryan and I leave this honest review voluntarily which is definitely a five star read.

An ill wind blowin’!

A Nor'easter has the town hunkered down waiting for the weather to clear. Heather and her friends brave the weather when a neighbor asks for help. The discovery of her sister’s body propels Heather into an investigation. Helping a friend is a top priority even while she is still searching for her own past.

This is a good mystery. Heather’s search for her past makes a good subplot. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

Nor'easter Nightmare is a fascinating, twisted, cozy mystery. I love Heather’s dog Artie, the Cape Cod setting and the non-murderous townspeople. Set during a spring blizzard, a woman finds her sister murdered and asks for Heather’s help. There are the usual red herrings and many suspects to keep Heather and you guessing who is the murderer. I love Ms. Ryan’s writing and could no put down this engrossing mystery!

Yet another murder! This-one-hits closer to home. It is Fiona's sister, Marjorie. Heather is now battling to recover her memory, has assigned herself to find out who the new murderer is, and there is a Nor'easter on the way. If you live in the Northeast, you know that means heavy snow and strong winds, actually a blizzard. They are expecting as much as a foot of snow! The adventure still continues in the next book. There is still more to come. Recommended!

Heather and her friends are snowed in by a nor-easter in Cape Cod when Heather's neighbor arrives asking for help with her sister. Heather and Sydney go and find the sister dead in her shed. It's up to them to find out who did it while also trying to make headway in restoring Heather's memories. This is an entertaining, cozy mystery with twists, turns and red herrings a plenty. I look forward to the next installment.

Heather is still trying to remember who she is along with the help of her new friends. Her first big NorEaster storm came in and there is a dead body. She will help solve this case and hope during the investigation she will finally have a breakthrough and remember everything. This was a fun read and I really liked the ending.

Snowed in at Sand Dune Inn with a neighbour murdered was not what Heather wanted. I received this ARC copy and leave a honest review. I recommend this book to other readers.

Wow! What a great book! There’s a lot going on - Heather’s search for her identity and an unexpected murder! The storylines keep your attention and they all flow together at the end. The characters are all people that you would want to have as friends (except the bad guys, of course). The setting of Cape Cod in a winter blizzard is magical. There are lots of red herrings which makes you want to follow the investigations until the end. Couldn’t put it down! Can’t wait for the next one!

Happy Easter!

Heather is caught up in another murder investigation and of course to try and get her memory back too.
I figured out the murderer pretty quickly but Ryan did a good job of making me doubt it for a bit. The end of the book, though, wow. I'm excited for book 4!
