Pros: 1st person, dual POV - Dante & Bella, that then adds in a third as well, Harley
Cons: A lot of repetitive thoughts. Too much inner dialogue and not enough action. And I just couldn't bring myself to really care about the characters. Plus, they go on and on about how Bella is so pure and good, yet her personality doesnt match that at all.
Also, they have cameras everywhere to watch her, yet never see what Gus is doing? And even after she's in love with them both and trusts Harley especially as a friend, she doesnt tell him about what he's doing? Or, ya know, scream for them when it happens since they're right in the same house. Then at one point he says if she tells he'll kill Dante and Harley but yet.. Dante is the king of the city and they've been running things for years and the 2 of them would easily take on 1 of him. So it makes no sense. And then the "twist" that Gus has a fraternal twin brother. Yet she couldnt tell they looked alike? Way too ridiculous.This didn't work for me.

So good! A dark beauty and the beast retelling where the beauty gets her two beasts. Check your trigger warnings because this book has some intense things going on but it’s so good. Dante and Harley 😮💨😮💨. They both had things that Bella needed. It was just super sweet and I loved everything about it.

Wow. I don’t know what else to say! The emotions and me yelling at my kindle saying finally! Like omg! And the twist definitely did not expect that! Gus and Bruce deserved what happened to them!!!

I really want to be fair to the author with this review and say her 3 warnings and list of TW/CW were accurate and greatly appreciated, however my issues with the book are more about the context surround the sexual abuse our MC faces and less with the fact there is sexual assault.
Firstly I was so grossed out with Bella and Dante immediately fucking after she was just r*ped by her father (it was also in detail which I skipped however I could’ve done without the detail of her dads c—) I’m so very tired of any romance book where the mc experiences some type of sexual violence and then immediately jumping into an intense relationship with lots of sex. And while I can’t speak for all victims, that is not something that happens. The last I’d want after experiencing something as traumatic as that is to be touched intimately, regardless of I trust the person or not. So already I was turned off with this book and after seeing what comes after that this was just bad overall.
I totally understand the author disclaimed that there is little to no logic in the story, however a nugget of rational thinking wouldn’t hurt.

This dark beauty and the beast retelling was gut wrenching. Sasha kept me on the edge of my seat feeling heartbroken for our FMC.
Bella has gone through way more than a girl her age should have to. She has HEAVY trauma from her childhood and specifically what her dad has and currently does to her. But even through all that pain and heartache she still finds a way to get through it and be there for her father. If I was her, I would leave him to fend for himself. But her father being her father did manage to do one thing right for her. Because of his gambling problems it put him in the pathway of the notorious Dante Calloway. A man she has a pull to but feels she's too "damaged" for him. Someone like him can never love a girl like her. Dante saves her from her father and brings comfort and protection like no other. But along the way Bella's heart grows for not only Dante but his brother Harley as well. Beauty can tame more than one Beast and has a heart big enough for the both of them.
I loved how much Bella's character grew. Sasha stayed true to what Bella was going through and showed that a healing process isn't easy. That even though the threat is gone, your inner demons will still find a way to attack you. But I also loved how much Dante grew a heart and softened for her and Harley found a way to heal from his past. His bond with Bella was the most significant for me. They started off as friends, but their friendship bloomed into something beautiful. I also loved how Sasha snuck in her other books as books the characters where reading in the library. It was cleaver and different. This is the perfect dark retelling if you're willing to get your heart ripped out. Oh, let's not forget that plot twist.....

If you love the story of Beauty and the Beast, here is your next dark and twisted read. This book is not for everyone, the trigger warnings and content warnings need to be read before opening the book. You will be warned multiple times before you even get to page one.
Dante, Harley, and Belle. She has a different relationship with each guy. Harley is the gentle, best friend, emotional connection partner. Where Dante is the tough love partner.
The story was beautiful with a lot of trauma. Dad abused and used her daughter for his own personal pleasure and to pay off debts. She was nothing to him. He gives her to Dante as payment for a debt that he owed.
Before this even starts Dante has already become obsessed with Belle and how good/pure she seemed compared to his world. Even though she has seen nothing but darkness in her life.
When she thinks she has finally escaped her abuse, she gets thrown a huge curveball as a thank you from dear old dad on top of realizing she isn't as safe as she thought with the guys.

The repetitive dialogue with Bella and allowing Gus to continue her abuse by turning a blind eye to it. My stomach literally turned at chapter 25 and the hallway scene like she couldn’t have attempted to get help. Fast-forward to her blatantly accepting the abuse and denying help for the next 4 chapters and the bathroom oral SA had me literally throwing up. Especially after, both Dante and Harley tried to both argue they “burn the world for her” but allow it in their own house.

Sasha never lets us down. She came in hard with this one. First I want to say PLEASE check your triggers this is filled with them but if you can get past the third warning this is the book for you. It literally has me in all my feels. I loved every second of it!!! If you’re looking for a dark romance with every trigger this is the book for you and I would highly recommend! Another 5 star for me!!!!!!

Like always Sasha doesn't disappointed me with this AMAZING book.
The trauma and pain that Bella pass in her Young life is to much to anyone but with the love , patience and perseverance of Harley and Dante they save Bella, and in this process they ended saving them self's.

The first book I DNF. I threw in the flag at chapter 10. I just couldn’t go on any longer. The characters were not well written and the story itself was lacking. You know the saying that cussing makes you seem less intelligent….that is true with this book. The over use of the “F” word makes it seem like it was written by a giddy 12 year old.

Spicy and violent but oh so smutty good.
Bella looks after her father, pulling him out of bad situations left and right. He screws up again and they come looking for him. He trades his daughter for his own life. Bella slowly falls for her captors but she can’t shake her past and her mental health suffers. Being able to watch her enemies demise gives her hope at last. I was drawn into the story from the first page.

I loved Dante and Bella in this dark retelling of Beauty and Beast retelling. I definitely think you should read the TW at the beginning as this is a dark retelling. There was action and romance that kept me hooked for the entire book!

I love sashas work. This book has all the trauma. I love the way she describes the characters and how she writes unapologetically. She isn't afraid to write about trauma. I loved the way the characters were able to heal. This book had about 5 warnings about the TW. I absolutely loved this book!

This book ripped my heart out stomped on it. Then pick it up and put it back together some how. It was such a tragically beautiful book. The things Bella some how endured utterly mind blowing. Dante and Harley were there for her no matter what was perfection. I'd you can handle heavy triggers I highly recommend giving this one a chance

I loved this book! A dark retelling of beauty and the beast, what more can you ask for?! I will say please read the trigger warnings on this, it is very dark and it for everyone.

Well, the spice was ok. The story was ok. The characters were ok. The writing….not as ok.
I see so many five star reviews of this book and I keep wondering what I missed.
The characters were not well developed. Most of the story felt rushed. There was little detail of their world other than its bad and criminal. There are grammar errors that should've been fixed during editing.
I had to check and make sure this wasn’t an ARC before I rated it.
I liked how one of the author’s other books is a favorite read by a couple of the characters and is mentioned multiple times in this book. I own that one also but don’t know if I’m going to try to read it.
Would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a why choose dark romance that is basically an instalove/instalust erotica with a bit of plot thrown in. I’ve read worse.

I am a massive lover of Beauty and The Beast retellings and of Sasha’s books. So the fact that she dove into a dark, why choose, mafia Beauty and The Beast’s retelling had me running to amazon and I absolutely LOVED this story. The suspense and drama had me on the edge of my seat, and the steamy heat and hot alphahole morally grey touch her and die men Bella falls for were everything I could hope for. These men Dante and Harley were two sides of the same coin each giving Bella something different but equally important in her healing journey. The plot twist had my mind spinning with shock but it was a wild ride i gladly accepted.

Sasha has once again outdone herself with this dark and twisted retelling of a classic fairy tale. In true Sasha style she pushes the boundaries with the content of her stories that will leave you reeling. This isn’t your average retelling, it’s very dark so it is really important that you read the content and trigger warning at the beginning of the book. As I said this story isn’t for the faint hearted and the warning are listed three separate times so make sure you heed the warnings before diving in.
Bella is our Beauty and her life has been nothing short of traumatic. Dante and Harley are our Beasts and complete Bella in their own special way. Dante is the King of Seattle’s underworld, he is jealous, possessive and takes what he wants and Harley, oh Harley, he is Dante’s enforcer and best friend and under his harsh exterior, he is the sweetest morally grey man. These men will stop at nothing to ensure their beauty is safe and loved.
I devoured this book so quickly I feel like I need to go back to and read it all over again to make sure I didn’t miss any details. This story is full of trauma, emotion and passion and has just the right amount of dark twists that will blow your mind and make you reread passages of text just to make sure you read what you thought you read. I loved the dark retelling of one of my favourite fairy tales and it being why choose made it so much better.

I thought Beauty & Beast was my favorite story as a little girl, but damn! This takes it to all new heights! 🤯💜❤️🔥 Absolutely loved it, there are parts to read but the story behind it is beautiful. Absolutely lol I've how much the beasts love their beauty & how they are willing to burn the world down for her❤️🔥❤️🔥😍💜 All the dark twisty spicy romance you need in 1 📚 Must read!!
