Jack Frost stole Lila and Myla's special objects. He stole both halves of Lila and Myla's pendant and the Gemini ring. Kristy and Rachel have to help Lila and Myla find their special objects. First they look for Lila's half of the pendant. They go to Jack Frost's Ice Castle and they see that Jack Frost is using their twin magic to make two of himself. Jack Frost's new twin is named Jimmy Thaw. Jimmy Thaw is actually really nice so they go to a twin conference that is happening in the human world and he wants to know how they could make him and his twin more alike. Rachel and Kristy go to the conference too but the sign says only twins and scientists allowed. So Lila and Myla use their magic to make them look like each other. Then they find Myla's half of the pendant. Kristy dresses up like one of the scientists and goes to talk to Jack Frost and Jimmy Thaw. She uses a pretend remote control as a scanner and scans them to pretend to make them more alike. She said that there was something powerful about the ring Jack Frost was wearing and that he needed to give it to his twin to make it work. But Jimmy Thaw was nice so he gave it back to the fairies. Then they had to make Jimmy Thaw back to part of Jack Frost.

The students I service request Rainbow Magic Fairy Books based on a specific theme like sports, dance, music, etc. or seek out a book using their name or that of a friend. Well Ms. Meadows hit another high interest group again with twins fairies. In the story twins all over start experiencing many difficulties when Jack Frost steals fairies Lila's and Myla's twin magic and attempts to double himself. With the help of twins Kirsty and Rachel the action unfolds as all four girls set out to stop Jack Frost. The action will carry the young reader through this delightful story to a satisfying conclusion. I recommend this book as another hit for its many young readers.

My 10 year old daughter read this aloud to me. The chapters are a good length, the vocabulary is varied--and new words repeat several times (like "scientist" and "disguised")--and--best of all--the subject matter is interesting to her. And I liked that females were the main characters--and heroes.

Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

Rainbow Magic: Lila and Myla Twins Fairies is a fun book about two girls named Kirsty and Rachel. The girls get invited to a birthday party but this is a unique party. It is specifically a twins’ party and it is at this party that the girls meet two fairies, Lila and Myla. Lila and Myla then share that the fairy world needs their help! This book has themes of good versus evil as well as teamwork. Although I enjoyed reading this book, I would not say it was anything too special. I would have liked for the overall plot to be a little more interesting so that I felt more involved in their world. That being said, I did like the characters. I especially liked one who appears later in the story. I will keep this character a mystery so that I can keep the magic of the book for those who have not had a chance to read it yet.

I thought that Lila and Myla the Twins Fairies was great. I loved that the book was a Special Edition because then it's longer. I was so into the book.
In the book Lila and Myla the Twins Fairies there were three objects missing, when it's usually one magical obejct. I thought it was neat that instead, there were three objects. The three objects were Lila's pendant, Myla's pendant, and there Gemini ring. Lucky, Rachel and Kristy came to save the day.
Thanks to them, Lila and Myla the Twins Fairies have there magical objects back.

I have read A LOT of Rainbow Magic Fairy books out loud to my six-year-old and this is by far one of her favorites. In this adventure, Jack Frost has stolen the magical objects of twin fairies Lila and Myla in order to create his own twin. Jack Frost hopes to double his chances of taking over Fairyland, but doesn't expect that his twin (Jimmy Thaw - my favorite character of the series) could actually have a kind heart. Rachel and Kirsty must work together with the twin fairies to get back the magical objects and stop Jack Frost from gaining power.

Not Rated; these books are from my childhood and I enjoyed them a lot as a kid, I read quite a few of these... but I don't remember any of them, but upon reading this and with some reflection, it's very formulaic and just not good.

Lila and Myla are twin fairies, and they need Rachel and Kristy's help. Jack Frost has stolen some of their magic and used it to try and create two of himself.
Meanwhile, all the twins are getting mixed up! Will Rachel and Kristy stop Jack Frost?

I really like this book. You should read it if you like twins.

My daughters had a blast enjoying this book. At 8, 6, and 2, they all enjoyed it (though the 2-year old's attention waned a fair bit). Olivia-Grace (8) absolutely loves the fairy book series, and has devoured reading them. Next up now for us is: 'The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe'.

I found it funny that Jack Frost’s twin Jimmy Thaw was the complete opposite of him and actually liked the fairies. I also found it funny how obsessed he was with cups of tea and when the goblin said ‘I love you’ to Jimmy Thaw😂😂

This is the story of two girls named Kirsty and Rachel who go to their twin friends' birthday party. Everything is going fine until they notice things keep going missing at the party. Then see that a goblin has crashed the party! Suddenly, two fairies appeared, Lila and Myla. They explained that the party was going wrong because Jack Frost had stolen Lila and Myla's pendants and their Gemini ring. These things do three things: make sure people treat twins as individuals, make sure that twins have fun together, and make sure that twins aren't being compared with each other all the time. So the four of them go to find Jack Frost and get the pendants and Gemini ring back. When they find him, they see that Jack Frost has created his own evil twin, Jimmy Thaw! But upon closer investigation, they see that Jimmy Thaw is not evil at all and wants to help give the fairies their things back. After outsmarting goblins and Jack Frost and with some help from Jimmy Thaw, the girls were able to get the pendants and ring back and life for twins returned to normal.

Discussion Questions:
1. Why do you think Jack Frost wanted to have an evil twin?
2. Compare and contrast a set of twins from the story (Lila and Myla, Jack Frost and Jimmy Thaw, or Jessy and Amy). How are they alike? How are they different?
3. Some of the goblins in the story are clever and tricky. Come up with a riddle of your own and have a classmate try to solve it.
4. Draw a picture of a fairy you would like to see a book about and write a paragraph about it and what kind of special powers it has.
5. How do you feel about Jimmy Thaw having to go back inside of Jack Frost? Do you think Jack Frost is a little bit nice on the inside? Explain why you think so or why you do not.
