Heart Raider ( Heartthrob series book 1 )

So when his world is turned upside down by his ex wife and ex best friend, Ronnie didn't like the fact that his ex got off easy so she started to investigate her. He soon learns that she's not as easy to turn away as he thought she would be and finds himself falling for her against his better judgment.

What will Nick do when he finds out about Ronnie's investigation and the fact that she is in danger because of it? And what will he do when he thinks that Ronnie may have betrayed him?

My Opinion: This is the first book that I have read from this author and I thought that it was great. I found it very hard to put down. I loved Ronnie's love of life and how she would not give up on Nick no matter how hard he tried to push her away. I definitely recommend reading and I will be looking forward to reading more by this author!

Drew has always had one regret. Leaving Natasha. She has always been in the back of his mind. When he runs into her while helping his sister out he can't believe it. He is definitely looking forward to spending more time with Natasha.

My Opinion: I gave this book 4 Hearts! I love Drew and Tasha together. I thought that it was a great story. Drew's sister comes off as a real witch but you really have to look deeper with that one. The book reunites lovers, deals with family issues, Has scheming women and unexpected friendships. You really can't go wrong. I was hooked right from the start and found the book hard to put down. I definitely recommend reading!

Warrior's Bride by Nina Bruhns

Rini just got out of a bad relationship and ends up having a one night stand with and Indian who calls her Fire Eyes. She would have stuck around to see if they could have had something more if it had not looked like he was a player and after being cheated on by her ex she couldn't do that. Next thing she knows she is pregnant and has no way to find them because they never exchanged names. She is being pressured to let her sister and her husband adopt the baby but even though she knows it will be hard on her own she just can't give her baby up. Then out of nowhere the father of the baby shows up and seems determined to try and take the baby from her.

Cole cannot get the woman that he calls Fire Eyes out of his mind. But she left him just like everyone else and he cannot seem to get over that. When he happens to see her at an Indian Adoption lawyers office and see's that she is pregnant he knows that the baby is his and he will not allow her to give his baby up for adoption.

My opinion: I found this to be a very emotional book. I ended up in tears at a few points in this book. I really felt for Rini. I would have given this book four hearts instead of 3.5 but I could not get over what a jerk Cole was. Rini honestly tried everything to show him that she loved him and did not want to leave him, but he is the type that does not want to let anyone in no matter what so that he doesn't get hurt again and he basically in my eyes treated her really crappy. With the exception of me not really liking Cole, I thought that it was a well written book with a great story line. I just wish would have been a little more understanding of Rini and her reasons and been focused on making their relationship work and not just on sex. I loved the fact that I was brought to tears while reading this book. A book that can get such a strong emotional reaction from me is definitely one worth reading. I definitely suggest reading.

This set includes 7 wonderful authors offering up our favorite, 7 sexy and exciting bad boys!!

1) DRIVEN TO DATE by SUSAN HATLER:

Susan Hatler gives us another great story about a love that just can't be denied. Jill and Ryan have a rocky road to finding love but it's a wonderful journey and worth it in the end.

DRIVEN TO DATE is the story of Jill Parnell, an independent, focused, career-driven attorney with no quality time for a personal life. She has worked diligently for the last five years on what she believed was a partner track at her law firm. When the promotion she expected to get was given instead to an outsider her world imploded.

Just days later Jill meets Ryan at the wedding of her friends, Ethan and Kristen, where he is the Best Man. They both feel an immediate attraction between them, but Jill sees Ryan's flirtatious lines as warning of a practiced player and heartbreaker. She doesn't have time in her life for a boyfriend and certainly not for a broken heart so she blows him off. But then a need to prove to someone important she has a balanced life has her grabbing Ryan to be her ten minute boyfriend. He goes along, charms her, dances with her, and passionately kisses her right out on the dance floor which gets the rumors of Jill's hot new romance flying.

Ryan Shaw is the very handsome and successful nephew of one of the partners of Jill's firm. He went to college and law school with Jill's friend Ethan. He is also known as the turkey who (unknowingly) stole Jill's job as a managing attorney at her firm. Everyone at the firm knows Jill deserved that promotion, but can't help liking Ryan. Especially when it's apparent he's qualified for the job.

When Jill returns to work Monday only to discover the sexy guy she kissed is none other than the rat who took her job, and her new boss, the sparks fly between them again. Jill might be furious, but Ryan is smitten and not ready to give up on his chance with Jill. He wants to change his boyfriend status to permanent and is not afraid to enlist help from her friends and coworkers.

I enjoy Ms. Hatler's fun, realistic, and clean writing style, and reading Driven to Date did not disappoint. Jill and Ryan's story was at times humorous and charming, yet at other times frustrating, but at all times a pleasure to read. Their story includes many beloved characters from the previous books in the Better Date Than Never series, which to me is always a bonus. It also introduced new characters I hope to learn more about in future books.

2) BEDDING THE WRONG BROTHER by VIRNA DePaul:

Virna's story was sweet and romantic, but also so much fun! I just loved how Melina went after what she wanted, and for that matter Rhys too! Friends to lovers stories are among my favorites and this one had my full attention right from the first.

Melina Parker grew up as close friends and neighbors of the gorgeous and sexy Dalton twins, but there was a huge difference in how she felt about them. Max became her best friend and confidant, whereas Rhys, he was her secret crush. Rhys and Max are the sons of magicians and moved away to become a part of that life, but have kept in touch with Melina when possible. More so Max than Rhys, and when she hits a rough spot in her love life it's Max she turns too. But Max knows Melina's secret and believes Rhys feels the same way, so he plays matchmaker. He does a twin switcheroo on Melina and doesn't tell Rhys the true circumstances, letting him believe it was him Melina wanted "lessons" from all along. Rhys was happy to oblige, because Max was right, Rhys has always wanted Melina too.

I liked this story a lot. The characters and storyline were all well-done and kept my interest from start to finish.

3) THE PERFECT MIX by CHARITY PINEIRO:

This book was hot & spicy! Bianca Martinez is a chef about to open her own restaurant but it is handsome and sexy contractor Rey Ramos who has her mouth watering (and mine)! THE PERFECT MIX by Charity Pineiro was about the all-encompassing feeling of meeting The One meant just for you. The rush of the overwhelming attraction, the never felt before emotions, and the desire that follows you into your dreams at night. Bianca and Rey's love story is strengthened by the loyalty and support of good friends and family. It's also filled with such lavish descriptions of Bianca's recipes it had my stomach growling, lol. This was a great story, but I don't recommend reading it in an empty stomach. :)

4) HEART RAIDER by SOPHIA KNIGHTLY:

HEART RAIDER by Sophia Knightly was an intriguing tale with several layers of deception, seduction, and plotting by devious females all out for a piece of Nick Cameron, the reclusive billionaire. Lucky for him, Veronique (Ronnie), the intrepid reporter was determined to save him. I really liked Veronique's sassy, unfiltered personality. It kept the story going just waiting to see what she'd say next. And who could blame her for her lifelong crush on the sexy Nick. I love romances where the girl gets the guy she's dreamed about being with all her life. Poor Nick did his best to keep his heart from falling, but Veronique proved irresistible and just what his damaged heart needed to live again. Something he realizes almost too late. The chemistry between Nick and Ronnie made the love scenes more explosive, especially the first time on the beach. This story was enjoyable and a good start to a new series.

5) NAUGHTY VEGAS NIGHTS by TAWNY WEBER:

Like most things Vegas, this book was an adventure with a little bit of everything. Hot bad boy, sleezy bad guy, smart independent women just coming into their own, wild child little sister, the One that got away, betrayal, mystery, sexy lingerie, steamy sex, reunited families, and in the end dreams were coming true. All written with the light, humorous, engaging style of Tawny Weber. I really liked the plot, the pacing, the characters, and the second chance love story in NAUGHTY VEGAS NIGHTS. This was a wonderful addition to the Lucky 7 Bad Boys Contemporary Romance Boxed Set.

6) WARRIOR'S BRIDE by NINA BRUHNS:

WARRIOR'S BRIDE was a fantastic read! I don't know how to put my thoughts into words deserving of Nina Bruhns' impressive story. She starts off with her heroine, Rini, literally bumping into the hero, the very sexy Colton, all dressed up in his regalia at a pow wow. It is love at first sight as these two connect in the deepest of ways and later has Colton staking his claim on her believing he has finally found the woman of his dreams. The next day Rini sees something that is not what it seems and runs off without explanation. Both are heartbroken, angry and feeling betrayed over this misunderstanding and with no way of finding each other.

Later Rini discovers she is carrying Colt's child and is determined to keep her baby, but allows her sister to convince her to at least talk to an adoption lawyer about her options. While there Colton sees her, realizes her condition, and guesses her intentions. Yet another misunderstanding. Furious she would give away his child he confronts her, threatens taking the baby from her, and eventually offers her a marriage of convenience which she agrees to.

Right from the start I loved both Colton and Rini. Their attraction was intense and so sensual. Their first night together was smoldering hot and it was clear they were meant for each other. The misunderstanding the next day had me groaning over the loss. When they finally meet again in the lawyer's office it was just as frustrating. Despite the fact they both obviously still had strong feelings for one another pride, stubbornness, tempers, and insecurities get in the way. Both Colt and Rini already had trust issues which made their situation more complicated even though the true love they felt for each other was clear to everyone around them. Bruhns does a wonderful job of allowing the reader to see both sides' perspectives, gives us great secondary characters who both help and hinder our lovers as they try to make their relationship work, and a plot twist at the end I thought was superbly written.

7) CRAZY IN LOVE by KRISTIN MILLER

This one had me fully engaged in the story/characters right from the first chapter. LOVED this story!! Kristin Miller's CRAZY IN LOVE is about Rachael, a kind, beautiful, nurturing small town innkeeper who steals the heart of Hollywood sexy as sin, rock-n-roll bad boy and die-hard bachelor, Cole Turner.

Cole comes to Blue Lake to do a couple concerts and sneak in a little relaxation after an exhausting tour. He rents out Rachael's entire Inn to make sure he gets the break he needs. The last thing he's expecting is to find his innkeeper completely irresistible. He doesn't know what to think of the fact that she so effortlessly sees to his every comfort while resisting his charms. Women usually fall at his feet, but Rachael forces him to up his game. Rachael in the mean time has learned her lesson and no longer gets involved with guests. They always eventually leave and take a little piece of her heart with them. Cole is the hottest, most sensual man she's ever met and he sparks a desire in her like she's never known before, but she fights him all the way to protect her heart. End result? Well of course they fall Crazy in Love!!!

Book 1 starts off on the sweet and sexy end, at least in my opinion. Bianca is a sassy little chica who has just found a way to live her dream by partnering up with two friends she graduated cooking school with. I don't know what it is, but whenever chefs are involved it just makes the book that much more appealing. Something about food and hot sex does it for me. Bianca's love interest is a haunted bad boy with a heart of gold. He is hired as a contractor to modernize and beautify the old restaurant our three partners had purchased together. Rey is very successful, and actually almost turns down the offer, until he meets Bianca. Let's just say sparks fly...but can Bianca look beyond his tainted past?

Book 2 was quite intriguing!! We have Ronnie who had a HUGE crush on her camp counselor that followed her into her adult life. When Nick's seemingly fairytale success climb comes to a scandalous pause due to a nasty divorce, Ronnie takes it upon herself to scoop out the truth and save him. What she doesn't count on is the fact the reality is so much more than any fantasy she has cooked up. They are plunged into a life and death situation, with the clock ticking on their romance as well as their lives. Can Ronnie mend Nick's broken heart and restore his faith?

Book 3 was completely sexy and laugh out loud funny. Meet Natasha. Growing up with lots of money and her future all planned out, she has toed the line and become everything her parents wanted her to be...and very happy doing it. Her Aunt Sharon, the rebel in the family becomes ill and enlists Natasha's help to save her upscale boutique that designs, you guessed it, sexy under garments. Off to sin city she goes to a conference to help sell the designs that will land her aunt a comfortable living. What she doesn't count on is a blast from her past being up there, and being competition. He was the one guy the unimaginably ROCKED her entire existence. Can she really just settle for a four day fling? And will he allow her?

Book 4 was for out girls that are hot for the Braves. Rini is celebrating her freedom and toasting to her future when she literally smacks right into an Indian brave dressed in war paint. For a moment she feels like she has fallen through a time warp until the giggles bring her back to the present. However the Warrior holding on to her an keep her in the past anytime. This story is about to people who have some serious issues overcoming all, with a lot of work, and healing the scars of their pasts. Both people have been really hurt and the outcome to their dynamics is heart-wrenching.

Book 5 is all about our anal, goal-oriented work-o-holic, but absolutely lovable Jill. Jill is ALL work and drive with no play time. A huge success at her firm, she prepares herself to take the next leap into management, only to be shut down by one of the partners relatives. Shocked and disheartened, she has to re-make herself and re-plan out her goals. Along the way, she discovers she has a charitable side, reclaims a life outside of work, gets over relationship issues and falls in love with the one person she was determined to hate. It turns out that sometimes the best laid plans aren't always whats best for you. The path to this happily ever after is absolutely endearing.

Book 6 was an interesting twist on magicians and twins :) Yes this book had the ability to be completely naughty, since it was about twin smoking hot men who traveled the circuit entertaining all types of audiences. Melina is the girl next door who grew up with the brothers, but feel in love with Rhys. As they grew older something came between Rhys and Melina and they grew apart, while Max and Melina became best friends. After another disastrous breakup, Melina is convinced she needs help in the bedroom area. Trusting her long-time friend to help her, she runs to Max for help. But Max has other plans up his sleeve, like finally getting the love that has been lurking between his brother and best friend finally out in the open. He lays the game for some REAL magic to be payed and let me tell you....do the sparks ever fly!!!! Definitely more on the naughty side with this tale..lol.

Book 7 is our ultimate bad boy: The Rock Star. Cole is used to getting what he wants whenever he wants it. After escaping to a small town to recover after a huge disaster on his tour, Cole winds up renting out an entire Inn that comes stoked with one incredibly HOT innkeeper. Thinking of all the naughty things he could do to her, he is shocked when she turns him down flat and walks away. The nerve! But Cole is in the for the ride of his life as this small town beauty shakes him to the very core and leaves his heart bare and open. The was an incredible story of healing and forging ones own path.

These books were all phenomenal and so enjoyed the different aspects they all brought to the table. There is a bad boy out there for all of us and will assure you that one (if not more) will capture your heart. Excellent job ladies!!!

This is a great box set which contains 7 books by 7 wonderful authors. I have read two of the books in the series so far, and can't wait to read the others. Sophia Knightly's Heart Raider was fantastic, I love Veronique and Nicks story. I love the story and that Veronique is a very independent strong willed woman. This book has it all romance, humor, and suspense. I could not read this book fast enough because I couldn't wait to see how it worked out and I was not disappointed. I even teared up at the end because I was so happy how it works out. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. Sophia Knightly is a fantastic author and I have loved every book that she has written, and I have to say this is now one of my favorites.

Tawny Weber's book Naughty Vegas Nights, was also fantastic, and HOT! Natasha goes to Vegas to help her aunt who owns a lingerie store acquire a contract that will help her be able aunt earn enough money so she doesn't have to worry about keeping the store open. While in Vegas, she runs into her old boyfriend Drew, who she has never forgotten and still has fantasies about. Natasha decides if she has a wild affair with Drew then she will get him out of her system and move on with her life. However, Drew's sister is after the same contract that Natasha is. I loved all of the characters in this book, and I hope that Tawny writes more books with these same characters. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

What is better than a bad boy? Try seven hot bad boys in one boxed set. The Lucky 7 Bad Boys boxed set has seven full-length novels from seven great authors all in one place. From a contractor with a bad boy past to Magician this boxed set has a steamy bad boy to heat you up no matter what your preference may be. I loved the variety of bad boys and the added draw of full length novels was awesome. The icing on the cake? Preordering was only 99 cents! One bad boy for 99 cents is a great deal, seven bad boys for 99 cents- amazing! Strong heroines to tame the bad boys and vice versa make for excitement on every page.

I had read some of Virna DePaul and Susan Hatler's writing before but most of the other ladies were completely new to me. I found all their writing styles blended together well and it was a pleasure to read. Sometimes you pick up a box set and the writing styles clash but there was none of that here, even with seven authors they flowed smoothly together. I honestly enjoyed each story and loved the different qualities in the bad boys. I know it's a great box set when it's impossible to pick a favorite story out of the set and I couldn't pick a favorite. I loved all the stories and I'm sure you will too.

For the steamy seven bad boys, I give the Lucky 7 Bad Boy Box set a 5 Red Hot Stars!

7 Fabulous Authors came together to give us an amazing Contemporary Romance Boxed Set. My First review is for The Perfect Mix by Charity Pineiro.

5 Stars The Perfect Mix by Charity Pineiro

Bianca Martinez is a chef who has worked hard to become good at what she does. Finally Bianca decides to take a risk and open her own restaurant with her best friends Eduardo and his wife Diana. So with a limited budget and a lot of work needed they begin their search for a contractor.
Rey Ramos has worked hard to build his own contracting business and never likes to over extend himself but when his friend Alex asks him to have a look at his sister's restaurant plans he agrees. Rey is not impressed when Bianca is late to the meeting but the instant flame that burned inside him when he turned to look at her had his sensible voice telling him to run.
Bianca knows Rey is the type of man she should stay away from when she sees the way his jeans hug him just right but when he turns around she know for sure she should stay away. The instant flare and chemistry was obvious to both of them but Bianca has something she needs to resolve and Rey is keeping a secret that may be too big for Bianca to accept.

I found myself quickly immersed in The Perfect Mix. The story is so well written you will just breathe it in and stay lost within its pages until the very end.

I will add the other reviews as they are completed.

The Perfect Mix

I enjoyed reading about the spicy romance between contractor/bad boy Rey Ramos and chef Bianca Martinez. Rey is man who has had to work hard for everything he has, and believes that Bianca is a CAP -- Cuban American Princess -- who has never had to want for anything.

Sparks fly between the two from the moment they meet, unfortunately, Bianca is involved with someone else. Does she take a chance on the hardworking contractor or stay with the safe but boring banker?

I give the first book in the boxed set 4 stars and can't wait to read about the next bad boy.

Heart Raider

MMMM what's an intrepid reporter to do when she a crush from her past is down on his luck? Find and help him, of course, whether he wants it or not.

Ronnie has been crushing on Nick since she as a girl at camp. Nick, a counselor at camp, only saw her as another hare-brained teen looking for trouble. Fifteen years have passed and now she's on his doorstep as the leading edge of a hurricane sits off-shore. Unwilling to give up on helping Nick, Ronnie worms her way into this house and heart.

Tension and intrigue... love and lies... This book is a great Saturday afternoon read.

I can't wait until I have time to read them all to come and give a positive review.his boxed set is a great bargain, full of well written tales. I shall add the individual book reviews as I go.

Crazy in Love - Kristin Miller

This feel-good rock star romance ticks all the right boxes for me. The characters are naturally brought to life through actions and believable conversations. The attraction is intense and the outcome demands compromise. I look forward to reading more from the series and this talented author.

The Perfect Mix
3/5 stars
There was a lot of food descriptions in this one (there should be some anyway since the heroine is a chef) to the point that the book leaves you hungry, but u satisfied with e lack of character depth. It seems like more time was spent on describing the perfect meal than anything else. Not a bad book, just not superb.

Heart Raider
4/5
Great characters that you will love and hate as the story develops. Great bad boy turned success. Good plot with some suspense. The ending seemed a little rushed though.

Naughty Vegas Nights
5/5

Absolutely love Weber's Naughty Vegas Nights. Great characters. Interesting second chance story. Funny/sexy setting for the plot. Love the HEA on this one! Moral of the story....follow your dreams! In the end it is worth the fight to get what you really want.

Warrior's Bride
4.5/5
This I'd the first book I have read by this author. At first, I had a hard time getting into the book with he bad choices the characters made. How difficult is it to ask a person what their name is? Then I could not put this book down and believe me I tried when it was way past my bedtime. This one is so addictive you will have a book hangover reading it all at once. Fell in love with the characters. The plot is realistic. The writing really brings out the emotions and insecurities of the characters. Best of all, the story has a great HEA.

Driven to Date
5/5
Love this story! Very intelligent and career driven heroine that discovers how badly she needs a little balance in her life when the scales nearly tip over and come crashing down. Love Ryan's character and how he insists on something that drives her nuts, but saves her later. The man must know about CYA (cover your *ahem*). Great plot that leads to a wonderful ending and balanced scales.

Bedding the Wrong Brother
4.5/5
While I can't say that I approve of Melina's desperation for a tutor or Max's trick.....I loved this book anyway. Great sparks between Rhys and Melina. Fun plot with a great HEA and a setup for more books off secondary characters. Melina's character is fantastic! She's intelligent, but vulnerable and insecure about parts of her physical appearance (who isn't unhappy with at least one part of their own?). She also knows what she wants and works to get it. The best part is that what she really wants (and didn't believe she would ever have) is pushed into her life when Rhys' brother Max executes a few tricks and they make a little magic happen.

Crazy in Love
4/5

I'm only a few pages in and I can't stop laughing! Fantastic happy ending! I like how the potential boyfriend situation resolved. Funny & witty dialogue. Good characters. The editing errors (pet peeve) were a little annoying though. Overall, enjoyable read.

Overall - 2.5 stars

I am going to have to start rethinking the purchase of these $0.99 ebook series "bargains". On the one hand, it's great to land a seeming steal on an entire set of books by authors I haven't read before. However, I'm starting to sense that "you get what you pay for".

Book 1: The Perfect Mix by Charity Pineiro

2 stars. This story was boring and slow. The romance build-up took way too long...nothing serious happens until chapter 13. There are only 17 chapters in the entire book. The characters spoke way too properly, and there were descriptions about mundane things that had no relevance to the overall story. I started skimming early on and ended up reading less than half of the book. I don't understand where the "bad boy" was in this story. The most exciting thing about this book was the food.

Book 2: Heart Raider by Sophia Knighly

2 stars. This book had a somewhat interesting plot. However, I was annoyed when the romance scenes took over and became more prominent than the storyline. They seemed to be purposely sprinkled into the second half of the book, as if to fulfill some kind of quota, which made the story not flow well. I ended up skimming those in the last part of the book. Also, why do we need to read the perspective of the maid? Some of the events were a bit strange and seemed out of place. I would not characterize the main male character as a "bad boy", but more of a corporate rebel. I didn't buy how all the loose ends magically got tied up at the end.

Book 3: Naughty Vegas Nights by Tawny Weber

2 stars. Got stuck on this story for several months. I had to keep rereading it from the beginning. The writing is not bad, but the story was lackluster. DNF.

Book 4: Warrior's Bride by Nina Bruhns

3.5 stars. Finally, a story that was decent! I liked the first part of this story - the plot and characters were interesting and the chemistry was great. The second half of the story was a bit slow and drawn out. I enjoyed the Native American perspective.

Book 5: Driven to Date by Susan Hatler

3 stars. Interesting but predictable plot. At least the main male figure is likeable. Confused about how this is a "bad boy" story - he didn't seem bad in any way. Rated PG-13 - it was a pretty tame romance.

Book 6: Bedding the Wrong Brother by Virna DePaul

3 stars. Cute little story. The writing is a bit amateurish, though. I feel like this may be a first published story for the author. It was interesting to get a glimpse of the magician's world.

Book 7: Crazy in Love by Kristin Miller

TBD.

Heart Raider ( Heartthrob series book 1 )

My Opinion: This is the first book that I have read from this author and I thought that it was great. I found it very hard to put down. I loved Ronnie's love of life and how she would not give up on Nick no matter how hard he tried to push her away. This box set was simply fantastic, loaded with love, romance, humor, misunderstandings, hope and happily ever afters. Starting with "The Perfect Mix" the story of a man that despite being an ex-con, owns a construction company, who is hired to renovate a restaurant for a chef and her friend. The story of Rey and Bianca, who had fireworks between them in more ways than one, was a great way to start out this box set. The next story was "Heart Raider". It was easy to follow Veronique and Nick's story. Veronique is independent and not afraid of a challenge. I love the fact that she never gave up on Nick, and never thought bad things about him. Nick just wants to be left alone, but Ronnie won't allow that, she wants him to simply live his life to the fullest, and stop hiding away. She makes him laugh and smile again, and that it just what Nick needs. A great love story, with romance, suspense and humor. Loved it!! Next up was "Naughty Vegas Nights", the story of Drew and Natasha, who had dated seven years ago. Maybe a night in Sin City, is all they need to reconnect. "Warriors Bride" is next, and I really loved the story of Colton Lonetree and Rini, who meet at an Indian powwow, and fall for each other immediately, but when she finds herself pregnant, she knows what she wants to do, but will Colton go along with it? "Driven to Date" features Jill and Ryan, both lawyers. He comes to town and gets the promotion that she has worked so hard for. Jill has to learn to balance her work and personal life, but will she even be able to work with this man, let alone be friends with him. In "Bedding the Wrong Brother", Melina wants lessons on how to please a man, and she goes to her longtime friend, Max for help. Little does she know that he tricks his twin brother Rhys, into the job, the twin that she has loved all these years. These two are magicians, not something I was expecting, but a lot of fun. And last but not least is "Crazy In Love", the story of Rachael, owner of a historical inn and Cole, a rock star and entertainer. After botching his last performance, can he find the peace he needs, to turn his next performance into a hit? And how does this sexy innkeeper, help him to do that. Kudos to all seven of these authors, every book in the set was a hit!!

All in all I'd give 3.5 stars.
Reading the title of this bundle I expected something different: the "boy"s to be really "bad" and the stories to be suspenseful. What I found was pure Romance with an erotic touch.

1. The Perfect Mix by Charity Pineiro 3*
A sensual love story that lacks suspense. Rey's doubts are not really understandable and everything is clear from the beginning, there are no surprises or twists.

2. Heart Raider by Sophia Knightly 3*
Quite enjoyable with a little suspense but nothing to think long about it.

3. Naughty Vegas Nights by Tawny Weber 2*
The story was all too clear, without any suspense.

4. Warrior's Bride by Nina Bruhns 5*
5 Stars for this one!
Nina truely knows how to tell a story keeping you glued to the pages until late at night. Her characters always troubled, not able to trust, but good, nice, lovable. Throwing in some issues as adoption, Native Americans, unwanted pregnancy, lack of self-confidence she creates a painfull love story making the reader want to shake the two lovers and scream:"Wake up, open your eyes and start finally talking about your feelings and fears!"

5. Driven to Date by Susan Hatler 3*
I found this book in the box Lucky 7 Bad Boys and I'm wondering why. Ryan is too nice to be true. And so is the story. Nice and easy, a quick read, but the characters lack personality.

6. Bedding the Wrong Brother by Virna DePaul 4*
If you're looking for a relaxing book to have some fun and you don't mind some dirty talk and enjoy sensual descriptions this might be just the right book for you. The dialogues are so funny and vivid and the teasing is delightful.

7. Crazy in Love by Kristin Miller 4*
This is a nice and very sweet little Romance. The two main characters seem to be quite normal and believable. There are no heroes or dangers just a lot of feelings, doubts and lust. It was an enjoyable read.

The Perfect Mix by Charity Pineiro: 4 stars
Reserved chef and reformed bad boy come together with undeniable chemistry. I enjoyed the characters as well as the descriptive nature of the story. The Cuban heritage of all came to life on the pages and reading about the food made me incredibly hungry!

Heart Raider by Sophia Knightly: 2.5 stars
The first half if the story was good, but it went off the deep end in the second half. All of the action culminated in the last few pages crazily wrapping everything up.

Naughty Vegas Nights by Tawny Weber: 3 stars
Good story. Several errors (incorrect/missing words) became more than a minor irritation, but I've read and enjoyed many Tawny Weber books.

Warrior's Bride by Nina Bruhns: 3.5 stars
Good story. I appreciated the detail in the Native American heritage of the hero.

Driven to Date by Susan Hatler: 3.5 stars
Lovely, heart-warming story about a work-a-holic attorney that is forced to reconsider her priorities in life.

Bedding the Wrong Brother by Virna DePaul: 3.5 stars
A second chance at love for a popular magician and an entomologist. Sweet, sexy, and thoroughly entertaining.

Crazy in Love by Kristen Miller: 4 stars
A few grammatical errors drove me nuts, but I'll blame those on formatting... The book was a heart-felt and heart-warming story about the bad boy rocker with no family or real place to call home and the beautiful, sweet innkeeper that is an integral part of her small town. Lovely, charming, and a series that I intend to continue reading.

Naughty Vegas Nights by Tawny Weber is HOT! In Naughty Vegas Nights by Tawny Weber, Natasha Stover is in Las Vegas at a lingerie convention trying to make important contacts in order to help her aunt keep her lingerie store open. She plans to setup the booth to not only make the contacts that her aunt needs but also get her designs off the ground.

What Tasha didn’t expect was to run into her old college boyfriend while in Vegas. Not only was he the best sex she ever had, but also the bad boy that disappeared soon after. Tasha believes that Drew is the same bad boy that he was back in college, but he seems to have no clue, and I mean about anything. He is having trouble setting up his booth, and she is under the misconception that they are both there to sell lingerie.

Drew had to give up college and Natasha and move back home when his father fell ill and he had to care for his little sister. He may not be the same bad boy he was back in college, but he is still not easy to understand.

This may seem like the perfect opportunity to pick up with the only person both have been sexually compatible with in a long time. But things will not be easy, for Drew’s little sister wants the same lingerie contract that Tasha wants and as misunderstandings go, Tasha thinks that Drew is in behind it all and has not changed since college. Now it will be up to Drew to take the challenge to change her mind.

If you want a fun, hot and sassy read, don’t miss Naughty Vegas Nights by Tawny Weber.

7 stars, 7 bad boys, and a great price: how can you go wrong ! Seven authors got together for this box set, and although I have only read one book so far, we have ourselves a winner here. How can you go wrong with all those great writers and bad boys ! First of all, I was very pleased to see that Ms. Weber’s offering is a full-length novel, not a novella, with plenty of heat and a great story; one of her best yet. What I most enjoyed is that the story features people not unlike us, albeit probably better-looking, but they deal with real worries and issues; they are not billionaires nor models. We have Drew and Tasha, college sweethearts, who went their separate ways. They meet by chance several years after they parted ways at a convention in Las Vegas, but they can’t deny the attraction that is still there, so they agree to have a fling, for old times’ sake. As they deal with work-related issues, we watch their romance rekindled in a very organic way. Boy and girl meet, boy and girl have sex, but more than that, we care about those characters because they feel real. The story is strong, the characters are engaging, and the sex is hot. Sassy yet always classy, Ms. Weber gives us quite a few chuckles as well ! And the cover looks fantastic; this is a great read; and at that price, you cannot afford to miss it! And I cannot wait to read all the other great stories in that box set.

This book was provided for me to review. To put this review in perspective, I am a hard reviewer. I almost never give 5 stars unless I really feel the book was exceptional and bound to be one of my favorites. If I like a book, I generally give it 3 stars. With that said, here's my review.

The Perfect Mix by Charity Pineiro 1 star
I couldn't relate to the characters. I felt that the writing was choppy and the food descriptions were too detailed and way too many in the story.

Heart Raider by Sophia Knightly 2 stars
Good story. The heroine was really pushy but I guess that's par for a reporter.

Naughty Vegas Nights by Tawny Weber 3 stars
I liked this story. Only downside was that I thought the setting for the end was a little weird and that there was no epilogue to finish out the story.

Warrior's Bride by Nina Bruhns 2 stars
For me, this was an ok story. I'm not big on pregnancy stories and normally don't buy them.

Driven to Date by Susan Hatler
Honestly didn't read this one. It's written in the first person and I just don't read first person stories. I always have a hard time getting into them and then I always feel like I'm missing half the story.

Bedding The Wrong Brother by Virna DePaul 3 stars
Good story. I like it.

Crazy in Love by Kristin Miller 2.5 stars
Good story. Hero was a spoiled brat to begin with, but the heroine fixed him.

I would first like to say that I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I admit I am a reviewer who normally gives long detailed reviews but with this type of book I can't really do that, so I will give you my feeling of the over all collection and its authors.

Overall I would give this collection - 4 out of 5
The price is hard to beat, how often do you find 7 books for so cheap.
I won't say that I loved every story because some of the couples committed a bit to quickly in a few books. The authors are well written and can keep you wanting more from the storyline and their over all work. I was happy to read multicultural and unique takes on the Bad Boy cliché. I even found myself reading one or two of the stories over because I enjoyed the characters so much. I recommend taking the time to download this and finding which one of these authors bad boys has you coming back again.

I hope this review helped someone out there.

The Perfect Mix by Charity/Caridad Pineiro was the perfect opportunity to spend my evening getting acquainted with a rich tapestry of characters and their personalities. When Chef Bianca encounters the sexy contractor bidding on renovating an old building into the new restaurant in which she is a part-owner the sizzle begins, slowly building throughout the course of the story. Ms. Pineiiro employs her skills to draw one into the hearts of her characters and an intriguing glimpse into a chef's kitchen.

Hardly a dud among these enticing stories!

I gave this anthology a five star rating because the authors have each contributed first class novels. Readers will come away believing that their time and money were well spent. The themes of romance, uncertainty in relationships, healthy sexual encounters and happily-ever-afters are handled concisely as well as entertainingly. There was nothing to read here that made me uncomfortable but a lot to read that was thoroughly enjoyable. Readers of erotic/ sensual romance will NOT be disappointed.

I love boxed sets, especially when they are priced at such a ridiculously low price at 99 cents. Lucky 7 Bad Boys set included some authors I am familiar with like Sophia Knightly and Kristen Miller but it also introduced me to some great new authors (new to me).. which I always love. All 7 stories were actually really good. Usually in a boxed set there are some stories I'm not fond of but I really did enjoy all of the stories in this set. Highly recommend this set!!!

Tawny Weber's Naughty Vegas Nights:
If you want a HOT read, then read Naughty Vegas Nights! Natasha and Drew have a past, and when they run into each other again in Vegas, things really heat up! I enjoyed reading about their passion as well as their hopes and dreams. The chemistry between Natasha and Drew is very believable and leaves you rooting for them. Buy this book! You won't regret it!

Well I got this box set from Amazon for 49p, so did not really have any high expectations. I was however pleasantly surprised, the first book, was a little boring but the pace picked up after this. I have since gone on and read the sequels to a couple of the books. My favorites were bedding the wrong brother, heart raiders and warriors bride.

Not a bad book in the bunch. I had read books by some of these authors but there were a few author's books I have never read. I think all books were solidy written. The he story lines flowed easily and the characters seemed to match. I am sure I will be looking for other books by these authors. Worth reading.
