A great many number of questions were answered in this short story, although I wish it had end as her life ended, I have questioned what her last thoughts were in connection to get last words. I hope novellas are written for each character. I love other points of view.
A brief glimpse into the world of Daphne, this short story is interesting. It delves into the way Daphne feels about Damian and her plot with Finn to get him to come back to her. There is no actual action in the book, and it's basically centered on her plan to get Damian to come back to her, and her visions. It doesn't go as far as I was hoping into her life, and still leaves some questions unanswered, but it's nice to have a little more depth to her character.
This book does contain spoilers from books one and 2 so you don't want to read it before then.
I appreciated that the author took the time to write this story because it made a lot more sense to be who Daphne was and what she cared about. I really wish she would have not been killed off in the first story, because I really liked her a lot. She really balanced things in that story, but I will say without this story I might not have never known what drove her to be as special as she was.
Three stars.
