Alannah Blake was born and raised in The Lost Souls Motorcycle Club. Having grown up surrounded by men dressed in leather, blood on their hands and living by a code society deems morally corrupt, she couldn't be happier at the thought of finishing college and returning home to the men she regards as her uncles and brothers, her family.

While she's been at college, she's been hidden from the ever growing, never ending feud between her uncles club and The Ghost Riders MC.

Her uncle -Michael Blake- The Lost Souls president is under pressure against their rivals. In a game that long ago began, he makes decisions that place not only his brothers in danger, but everyone connected to the club, including Alannah.
Castiel 'Cas' Jackson is the Vice President of The Lost Souls MC, and gave up the only thing that ever meant anything to him when his VP patch is threatened.

His loyalty to his brothers and his club has never been a problem, until he got close to the presidents niece - Alannah Blake.

After breaking her heart before she left for college, can he keep his word to stay away from her now she's back?

With Michael's decisions affecting the club and Alannah, can Cas figure out his presidents secrets before it's too late for Alannah and the club?

FINALLY! This has to be the best biker/MC book I've read since Motorcycle Man & Own the Wind.

This story was full of:
*betrayals
*loyalties
*friendships
*love
*second chances
*revenge
*strong bonds

What I loved about this book:
1. Cas - He was the best biker male I've read in a long while. He never called Lana the B, P or C words. Once they were together he was faithful to her. He loved her so much and was never afraid of showing that to her in public or private. He treated her with respect. He really was very good to her and he could be very sweet and attentive. She was his world once he realized it...and you couldn't break the bond he had with her. He had no problems showing the club the strong ties he had with Lana.
2. Sparky, Billy and Oak. Such great Brother's and friends to the club, Cas and especially Lana.
3. Lana- she was a strong leading MC lady. She wasn't childish or ridiculous and she tried to be brave when she needed too. She was good to Cas and knew her place and his place in the club. But mostly, for me, it was the love she had for Cas and how she showed everyone that they were a strong unit together.
4. How the whole story unfolds.
5. I love the flow of the storyline. I was never bored and didn't really want to put the story down.
6. I loved how Cas and Lana worked as a couple. How they knew their places in the club and there was no issues, back talk, fighting or use of their bodies to try and get their way or back at each other.
7. The ending. LOL! What the heck was that? That was cruel... just cruel. :) I like how it nicely sets up the next book though. (Well played Ms. Hunter.)

What I could have lived with out:
1. The words regarding lady parts: the C word and P word.

I can't wait for Book 2, Biker Faith. I look forward to Sparky's story in June 2014.

Biker Bait (The Lost Soul Mc #1)

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cas & Lana

I love the flow of the storyline. I was never bored and didn't really want to put the story down. Its one of the MC books that I really liked. A great start to a series.

Alannah “Barbie” Blake - MC Princess of The Lost Souls MC. One thing I like about her is that she is not stubborn. She acceped her fate and made the most out of it.

Castiel “Cas'” Jackson - Vice President of The Lost Souls MC. He is one tough SOB but he never disrespected his Old Lady. His very loyal to Lana and to his brothers.

I love the clubs interaction and the other characters Sparky, Oak, Pope & Slade. I really enjoyed this one. 😊

Next is Biker Faith 👏🏻

I’ve read so many books about MC’s and definitely this one is on my top favorites. It’s a short story but I don’t give a flying f. I can’t believe it has such a low rating. It sure does have some crappy editing, but to be honest it didn’t affect my experience that much.

First it was great because Lana is willing to listen and NOT keep a grudge for years like other MC books I’ve read. It took her 2 days and that was awesome, we didn’t have to read about her moping all over for him and rejecting him episode after episode. She is a hell of a heroine, of course she had to turn stupid at some point, when she drop the gun and didn’t kill the Ghost Riders Prez. But that was the point of the story so I let it pass. She did shoot 2 guys and killed them. AWESOME!!

Now Cas, he is obviously a hottie!! His fuck up a year before was pretty reasonable and I totally understood. I loved that he was willing to do anything to make it up to her and make her feel secure about their relationship the second time around.

What most impress me was that even on the rest of the MC books they talk about loyalty for some reason this one caught my attention way more. They had a really great commitment to loyalty and I thought that was awesome.

Now Billy, I guess that was the saddest part of them all. I seriously had a knot on my throat and my eyes got all watery. Damn….. he was a nice kid and he deserve to become a member of the MC, there was nothing else he consider family then them. It was sad to read about him. When Lana was whispering to the sky to him I swear that’s when I felt like crying more than anything. It’s sad to know he will never be riding with them.

Michael he had it coming….. Just for what he did to Billy. He didn’t give damn about him and like they said he sure was a dead kid as soon as he took that assignment.

The epilogue……. WOW!!! I can’t wait for summer, if this is only the beginning who knows what the rest will bring ;)

Allana and Cas's story plot was good, however there were too many grammatical errors and so many run-on sentences that it really distracted me from the story. An interesting premise and good enough plot to keep me reading, but seriously needs to be edited.

Absolutely bloody brilliant, that's so going on my Kinktastic list of books!

I'm already a fan of MC books but this was excellent, great plot line, intrigue, suspense, revenge, betrayal and a fantastic female lead.

I loved the ending, kind of saw it coming but hey, after the rest of the book I'm sure not complaining!

This is a must read if you're into biker books, and if you're not then it's a bloody good book to introduce yourself to.

SOLID READ

Such a nice surprise to read a MC book by a British author. I really enjoyed reading this story about Alannah Blake who is the niece of the club President of the Lost Souls MC. Returning home from college Alannah is really excited to be back with the club who she regards as her family. All except for one man Cas Jackson the clubs VP, she stills feels the pain of his betrayal deeply.

But not everything is right once she's back home. Her uncle isolates her away from everyone. There's something going on, their sworn enemies the Ghost Riders are at the heart of it.

First book in a new series, with a fast moving plot and well drawn characters made this a good read. I liked Alannah she was feisty and wasn't a pushover, I like a heroine with a backbone. Cas was an alpha male but with a touch of vulnerability that softened his character. Their relationship was very realistic, it was easy to feel their connection. The love scenes were sensuous rather than erotic. With the right amount of drama and angst. Made this a good first book of the series.

This was a 3 star read for me. Basically a stereotype of other biker MC books released. No new plot or approach. The writing is ok with minor grammar/formatting errors. Another one of my pet peeves though about an author that writes a book about a MC in the USA but uses words/phrases that do not fit into the American lingo that would be spoken by a bad ass American biker/MC member. The book ends in a semi-cliff hanger that sets up the scenario for the next book in the series. The H/h do get a HEA and there was no cheating after commitment.

This book was amazing. I hate when books leave off with cliffhangers. Alannah is coming home from college. Cas loves Alannah but made a horrible mistake. I hate Alannah uncle Michael he deserve what he got.

I have this one but from reviews I've read i think i might wait to read it till book2 comes out feels like it may end in a cliffhanger.....

Holy fuck yep that cliffhanger is gonna kill me... But I think book 2 comes out ina few days!! Off to find out WHEN!!!????

Cas and'barbie' are really into each other but because of her uncle the clubs President, Cas was basically forbidden to be with her, and when Micheal the president found out about them the first time Cas got his ass kicked by all the brothers so he stayed away and made sure she hated him for it. But she's back from college and as much as he tries to leave her alone he can't,but she doesn't drop to her knees and welcomes him back, she hates him for what he did. And now being pushed out of the club because her uncle wants to 'protect' her she doesn't want anything to do with Cas, well kind of.
He goes to see her where her uncle cast her off to and well they get into it.

“Tonight meant everything and you fuckin’ know it.” He hissed, “And if you think I’m leavin’ you alone, you’re fuckin’ wrong.”

“I don’t care anymore, you do what you got to do and I’ll do what I got to do.” I murmured.

“What the fuck is that supposed to mean.” He asked, getting angry.

I’d had enough now, I sat up and got in his face.

“It means…fuck off. You think because we fucked tonight I’m just gonna forget everything?” I yelled, losing my temper, “You’re never going to change, you’re the club and I’m not anymore. You got what you wanted, just get out!” I screamed

He wanted to prove to her he meant everything he's said she was his. But he knew it would take time,

"IT'S NEVER OVER BETWEEN US."

"ITS NEVER GOING TO BEGIN!" I yelled

"IT JUST DID." He yelled back.

But of course there's more going on behind Lana being told to leave the club, but no one knew how drastic the betrayal went.
It's more than the back and forth with Lana and Cas, I loved them and there crazy assess. She wasa bad ass I really liked her and Cas was of coursea bad ass biker but when he spoke to Lana about how sorry he was and all that sweet shit it made me Love him even more.

"I NEED YOU TO FORGIVE ME BECAUSE I NEED YOU AND JUST SO YOU KNOW I DON'T WANT TO BE SHARED, NOT WHEN IT COMES TO YOU."

"LAST YEAR I THOUGHT THE CLUB WAS ALL I LIVED FOR BUT SINCE YOU'VE BEEN BACK, I WANT TO LIVE FOR YOU."

(HOW sexy!!)

But this is after all a biker book and there are of course shit that happens, there's a deep betrayal within the club that tests everyone's loyalties. There's kidnapping there is explosions and I must say I love sparky,

"BOOM!" sparky roared in delight, "MAKES MY FUCKIN DICK HARD."

He's fucking hilarious, and so sweet to Lana.
There's twists and it makes this book a big winner for me. Can't wait for more!
Sparky is next, and the way this one ended and the blurb for the next one, I want sparkys book NOW!

I went back and forth between giving this a 3 or 4 star rating but ended up with 3.5.
The story itself wasn't bad...not entirely original as in I have read similar accounts in other biker books, but the main problem for me was sentences missing punctuation so it was one long sentence with two separate thoughts and many typos. A good editor would have made the book more polished and while she only used a few British terms, the formality of some of the language made it apparent where the author came from.
That being said, I really did like the story quite a lot and read it in one sitting because I HAD to know the mystery and truth about what the hell Uncle Mike was up to!
Alannah and Cas made a cute couple...she the club "Barbie" and he the tough VP who fronts being disinterested to protect her (and himself) from repercussions within the club and family.
I thought that some of the plot twists were different and very exciting and turned what could have been a repetitive biker book into something better. It was very much about family ties being strengthened (and broken) and without spoiling the book for anyone, it was a shock to find out the real motives behind the President's actions.
The book ends on not so much a cliffhanger but an intriguing "to be continued" and I really do want to know what happens next after that final scene.

****3.5**** "love cabin" for a biker stars =)

Firstly I would like to point out I'm not particularly a fan of MC books but during a reading slump I decided to give this a go because I saw it was by an English author.

It's an OK read but it needs a good edit. I'm aware self published authors probably can't afford editors but that doesn't mean they can't proof read their own work. There were quite a few britishisms, quite a few mixed tenses etc, etc. The author quite often wrote in her own accent I would say which may explain the mixed tenses. It distracted me when reading.

It's not as offensive as some MC books and the sex scenes are quite tame. Alannah was a good character. I felt Cas needed more of a male voice, he was quite tame for a Vice President also the plot was quite easy to predict.

Sorry if it sounds like I am pulling this book apart. I definitely think the author has potential and I'm sure any lover of MC books will enjoy this (and have judging by the positive reviews).

Not bad. Wouldn't give it more than a three star rating. Alannah was a bit annoying, I don't like biker princesses and she was a bit of a princess. Not a bad plot, Cas could have been a little more alpha for a Vice President too.

All in all, it's an okay read. Some of the other brothers are interesting and I will definitely give book 2 a try.

4 Sacrificed Stars

Lana "Barbie" was born into the Lost Souls MC world. She was the Daughter to the President and when he passed on and left her in the Custody of the Club she was the Niece of the next President. The Brothers took over care of Lana and she found substitute Fathers, Uncles and Brothers within the Club. She was loyal to the Club, she lived for the Club. Then she was sent away for College to experience a world outside of the MC.
This story starts off as Lana returns after 4 years of being away. She's back and now the Blood is about the line the streets of her small town. Lost Souls MC is about to face off with Devils Bastards MC and no one will be safe.
There is a traitor within the Lost Souls MC.
And at the end there will be 5 caskets, 5 Lost Souls, 5 Brothers they bury. Who will survive the war?

Lana- it was nice once again to see an MC Princess that wasn't a Virgin... I know I know I make a big deal about this BUT IT IS! It is so common for an Author to paint this innocent never touched virgin Leading Lady that I am over joy when we get someone who isnt! Not only that but she is so Badass she makes the H work for his forgiveness. I enjoyed Lana's character. She didn't sit around and pine after the H after he broke her heart... she dated. She had sex. She was a person. Shocker. She had Spunk!

Cas- you wont like him all the time but you will like him at the end. It may have taken him 4 years to figure out what he couldn't live without but when he did he decided he wouldn't let her go even if it cost him his cut.

I am a little nervous about Book #2... the Leading Lady of that Book is a broken girl who is afraid of her own shadow. Not really my kind of h. So I may wait to continue this Series.

What the heck was going on in this book?!?!?!?!

The complete illogical-ness of the book had me fuming!

The book starts off with Lana hating Cas because she caught him with a club whore 9 months ago. Cas, of course, did what he did because of the club or some bs like that. Essentially, he wasn't sure he was in love with her and her uncle, the president, told him to stay away. So far, so good. BUT then, she comes back from college and he proceeds to hang around with other club whores when she's around, while at the same time he's all "I love her" and "I can't live without her". Ugh. The whiplash. So he proceeds to tell her why he did what he did and Lana, instead of making him grovel for all the pain and heartache he caused, forgives him and voila - they're back together.

At the same time, Lana's uncle sends her away from the club, which causes members to realize something hinky's going on and she's smack dab in the middle of it all. So Cas has to hide his relationship from Lana from the prez.... EXCEPT, he's at the damn cabin where she's staying ALL THE FREAKING TIME. And the prospect sent there by the prez is there as well. WTF? And the prospect never says a word to the prez! Really?!?!? Come on!

Word to the wise - if you're going to read this book, please put your brain away. Or you might end up wanting to throw your e-reader/phone/tabet far far away.

Alannah and Cas! WOW! WOW! Really engaging story with two strong lead. Female lead, Alannah is a strong confidence woman who actually thinks before she reacts. The story of course leads to another book but a really long wait, Summer of 2014. I hate when authors make you wait so long for the next in the series.

Well worth the read. Sex is good.

The best thing about this book was the last paragraph, very dramatic and a great cliff hanger, unfortunately everything that lead up to the last paragraph was in a word painful. A serious lack of editing and the use of the word 'smelt' instead of smelled (used not once but several times!) And 'ya' for you made this a real struggle for me.
